Guesthouse 1x6

My wife and I booked this amazing guesthouse on the first night of our long awaited honeymoon and we could not have been more pleased. The little details were what impressed us the most from the restaurant recommendations, wonderful wildflower greeting bouquet to the delicious home made breakfast all made our stay memorable. Highly recommend!

I had such a lovely time there and I wish I had booked more days. The hosts were helpful with local suggestions and not annoying in the least. I was exhausted when I arrived and the welcome was amazing. The natural thermal hot tub was an stunning place to reset after a day of exploring. The breakfast is a must, local and handmade with care- so yummy. The room I stayed in was dark and comfortable when needed and quirky, welcoming, and well lit when appropriate. The artistic nature of the location evokes so much imagination that reflects the history and realities of Iceland. Don't miss out folks!

You don't want to miss this spot to stay in Keflavik. The hosts are incredibly friendly and have such a beautiful guesthouse complete with a lovely soaking tub. The art inside completed by locals and visiting artists alike is stunning. Could not recommend a better stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Also loved meeting the kitties.

Best guesthouse we have ever stayed in. The owners are very warm, caring and welcoming. The place is filled with art from different artists which give the place of charm. We had access to the hot bath outside with natural water. We only stayed for a night but I wish we could've stayed longer. We also tried the coffee which was delicious. The mattresses and sheets were high quality and we had a very good night's sleep. Everything was very clean.

We needed to stay here one night due to a last minute flight change. I am so happy that there was a room available because it ended up being the perfect start to our trip! The guest house was so charming and comfortable, and the homemade food (and chocolates we were greeted with) was an added bonus!

We had an early flight the next day and wanted a nice place to stay with a bit of character. We found it at 1x6. Andy and Yuki were very friendly as were the other guests. We shared our Icelandic experiences in the thermal pool in the garden before going in our separate ways.|The airport is about 5 minutes drive from the guesthouse and it's definitely worth arranging a lift or collection from Andy. Just even for the chat in the van and the welcome coffee to wake us up !!!

Andi and Yuki run a phenomenal establishment only minutes away from the airport. They have a very artistic B&B, have their own geothermal hot spring, and whip up a great breakfast. This is our second stay in six years- and definitely will return!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We stayed here the night before our early flight out of Klefavik. Andi and Yuki were friendly and gracious hosts. The guesthouse felt like home, quirky and intentionally designed. Andi had a fresh hot tub waiting for us on arrival which was a welcome treat. The whole space felt like a relaxing oasis. Would happily stay here again! For cat lovers, two friendly and very cute cats on-site.
