The rooms were really impressive as the owner has clearly enjoyed decorating them and making the homely for her guests. It was also comfortable. Nice to have some chairs to sit in and not have to sit on a bed. We didn't use the kitchen area but it was well equipped if you did wish to prepare your own food. There is a nice little cafe next door which will prepare a breakfast and in the opposite direction and just round the corner a friendly family run restaurant. Good value. Immaculate

First, it is a set of apartments, so not a hotel and not really a guesthouse. We had one that had a separate, reasonable sized kitchenette, and a lovely big bedroom with adjoining bath room. All very clean, modern and comfortable. Only open to check in between 17:00 and 20:00 ( believe there's a charge after 8pm), and no breakfast provided (boulangerie just down the road and supermarket close by). If you need to stay near Neuf-Brisach, this is great value for money, and probably the best place locally.

We had a spacious ground-floor apartment (others are all up stairs), very nicely fitted out. Free parking very close in the town square or just in front on the street if you are lucky. Free secure storage provided for 2 e-bikes in the owner's garage. Bakery practically next door plus 3 other places to get a light breakfast. Kitchenette a little minimal (no oven, only microwave and 2 burners). Good free WiFi. Helpful owners on site morning and evening. Nto many restaurants open in the evening in this town in late October however but the one that was (Italian La Lunate) is just around the corner. Bank and landromat also very close.

Feels like a hotel but service more like an apartment. The room is large and well furnished. They don't clean the rooms regularly and they don't offer breakfast. No one around to check us in. Had to leave a day earlier and the owner tried to charge me for the extra night. She was unnecessarily rude and argumentative. Disappointed with the service. Advertised with parking but actually its on street only.

We passed through Neuf Brisach on a cycling holiday, the local tourist office found us the place to stay. We were given a lovely room which included a small kitchen/dining area, bedroom, bathroom and a balcony. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We stayed an extra night because the town was so interesting and we loved the room

Immaculate. Includes kitchenette and cafe table. Bed was firm with great linens. Nice architectural touches. WC is up to date. I feel very fortunate in deciding on a stay in Neuf-Brisach. The town is listed as a World Heritage site; it was designed by the great military engineer Vauban. It was a fortress...a citadel. This hotel takes it name from that. Although this property doesn't provide breakfast, one is just a few steps away from several restaurants. The proprietor recommended breakfast around the corner. It was under 5Euro. I visited the restaurant across the street for lunch the day before. Both of these were filled with locals (except for me). Great meals at low prices. The guesthouse is only a few steps away from the local bakery and across the street to the grand parade ground / park. The village is easily walked and one can leave one of three gates and circumnavigate the whole town quite easily.||When I arrived, it was well before check-in. The owner invited me in, anyway, and led me to the room. I was surprised at how nice it was for the very low cost. She provided the key to the room and one to the front door (that is on one of the main streets).||There are a lot of nice touches to the room, such as the handmade log and limb ladder that serves as the towel rack in the shower area. I would definitely stay here again. The owner was very friendly and provided tourist maps and oriented me to the village.
