We stayed 2 nights in September and loved our visit at the ocean’s edge. Heba and her husband were a delight. The breakfast was traditional & lovely, the bed comfy, the sitting room cozy, shower hot, and their dog ever so friendly. It was a lovely way to start our journey across the South coast of Iceland. We stayed in one of the two ocean view rooms.

I stayed here in 2015 – 8 years ago now! – and wrote a glowing review on Tripadvisor at the time. I have been back to Iceland many times since, but not back to Stokkseyri. I haven't forgotten Guesthouse Heba. This was perhaps the nicest hospitality I have had in all the many places I have stayed in Iceland. Heba and Kristján are absolutely charming hosts, endlessly interesting about their little corner of Iceland and its history. Their guesthouse is cosy and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast!

We had a really nice time at Heba and Kristjan's accommodation. You are greeted with an open heart, exciting stories about pictures and objects in the house are told during the tour to the room and at breakfast there are always individual tips for the day's tour. The breakfast consists of very tasty local food, the bathroom and rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. I would best describe our stay as a visit to our dear grandparents. If you have the chance, grab a room for a few nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Heba. The owners are so kind and attentive to every need, and want to make your stay the best they can. You stay in a family home, and are made to feel a part of the family. Super breakfast - don’t miss the home-made bread. We would recommend staying here to any visitors to the area.

Months later and we are still talking about the breakfast served at Guesthouse Heba. The location was perfect as a starting point, getting right off the plane and having a short drive away from Reykjavik on our way to visit the sights of the Golden Circle and then the rest of the Ring Road. Best of all was the conversation with Heba and Christian, they are easygoing and knowledgable about much more than any guide book. The true definition of hospitality.

this was the most pleasant guesthouse we stayed in during our two weeks' stay in Iceland. Not only were we made to feel at home in our lovely bedroom (2 adults and our child), Heba and her husband went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast is memorable, home-made bread and jams and everything fresh and so tasty. The room we had gave onto the see, which is a stone's throw away from the house. Finally, there is an old fisherman's cabin in the little village definitely worth visiting, and an excellent fish restaurant a 5 minutes walk away. Heaven in Iceland!

The most beautiful b&b by a historical beach. Extremely warm reception by Christian and Heba, we felt so much at home with them and we loved the stories that were shared. Beautiful home made bread and breakfast spread. The loveliest of our stays in Iceland.

A gorgeous guesthouse run by very lovely, friendly folks! Heba's breakfast was awesome (the fresh bread was top notch!), and she was very kind to chat with us about Icelandic culture and literature! We had a fantastic experience, and the view of the ocean from our room was so beautiful. We recommend staying here wholeheartedly!
