I booked this place so I could stay on the peninsula and it had a kitchen so I could make my own meals. The price is very reasonable (about $350 for 2 nights). Check-in and out was easy. Plenty of parking. The apartment is nothing fancy and could use a few more thoughtful touches, but is very functional and is comfortable. The kitchen is not well equipped but has enough to make meals. The oven was missing shelves and there were no bowls which were both very inconvenient, but we figured something out. We had a bonus private hot tub with a nice view, which we had the opportunity to really enjoy. Overall this place is a good value and offers decent amenities.

We stayed one night at Guesthouse Hof and really enjoyed the unique setting. The location is fantastic – from the rooms you look out over meadows with sheep roaming, with a volcano and glacier from the national park in the background, while the sound of the ocean waves completes the atmosphere. A special highlight was relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi with that incredible view. The guesthouse itself is simple but comfortable, with decent rooms at a reasonable standard. Overall, a memorable place to stay in a truly stunning environment.

It was necessary to clean everything because the equipment (dishes, oven, stove, refrigerator) was so dirty. |The light bulb was broken, the radiator in the bedroom was broken, almost all of the kitchen utensils (pots and pans) were broken, there was very little cutlery (2 spoons!), and there were no storage cupboards. In short, the view is magnificent and the jacuzzi is very pleasant, but we cannot be satisfied with that alone.

We stayed for two nights at the Guesthouse Hof. This place could be a pure goldmine with some work. It has a lot of potential. Great location. Beautiful views. The rooms could use a good updating.
We arrived a couple hours after check in started. There were 4 of us in our party, the room slept 6. When we arrived to our room there were only 2 duvets, 2 pillows and 3 bath towels. Luckily the office was still open and we were able to get the items we needed for a comfortable night of sleep. The next day we noticed as we headed out that the locked toilet paper holder was almost empty, we had to rush back that evening before the office closed to make sure we were able to get it refilled.
The hot tub was great. The views were incredible.

Amazing LOCATION and the ocean just around the corner. Howevet, the standard should be higher - the facility needs a serious renovation and deeper cleaning. But still - I recommend! :)
