The rooms were clean BUT ...Hospitality rules would require that one would feel welcome and not be treated as inferior at check-in. An occasional smile would also be appreciated. ..As a non-smoker, I appreciate that smoking is not allowed at the balkonies ( as the proprietor didn't bother to separate the balconies properly). I would further appreciate, though, not to be intimidated by a 200 euro fine and on repeat that I would be expelled from the hotel if I were to smoke at the balcony ...I would like to be able to drink my coffee from the cup without a plate and not get insulted by the manager for doing so. ... It is also considered rude to unplug the coffee machine while I brew a coffee even though the breakfast time passed a few minutes ago. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Rude and unpleasant owner during all interactions with him - eg check in and breakfast. Really bossy, controlling presence constantly talking about rules...This is coming from multiple travellers of my group. The infrastructure and services of the hotel are satisfactory, but the guy’s attitude does not worth the impact to one’s mood and vacation time.

My family stayed here in late July. The rooms are very comfortable and air-conditioned, which was wonderful as temperatures in Bled were in the 30s, with a balcony providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains.|| Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Anton and all his staff were friendly, helpful and professional.||The guesthouse is situated in a peaceful part of town only a 10 minute walk to the lake and restaurants. There is a supermarket just down the road from guesthouse which proved very handy.||I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse!

After a very bad experience with another guesthouse, this one was worth every cent of what we paid. Very friendly and helpful owner Anton made us forget what we had previously experience. Nice room with comfortable bed with beautiful view of Bled castle, very quiet area, and only about 10 minutes walk to the Lake Bled. ||||I definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work, Anton.👏👏

We stayed here for two nights during our visit to Lake Bled. It is located in a quiet area, just a short walk to the lake. The room was adequate. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only reason for not giving it a higher rating is that the room was quite small. However, since we were only there to sleep, it was fine.

The guesthouse has a central location on Bled, only 10 minute walk to the lake. |We came late and the reception closed at 20:00, but luckily there were a man there to help us check in. |The rooms are simple, but all we needed. Just as pictured on booking.com. The air conditioning was working nice but was a bit noisy. Water pressure in the shower is good. Beds are very firm, pillows are big and not so comfortable but it’s like this all over Slovenia. Internet was working good. Breakfast is simple (I’m from Scandinavia, so I’m spoiled when it comes to breakfast), has the basics.

The place has no elevator. Our room on the second floor had 31 stairs. Not fun. No one at reception between 7 pm and 7 am, you must carry your room key with you. Owner not too nice. Breakfast staff quite nice. Fridge didn't work. About 1 km from the lake. Parking on site.

I wish I could give a 0 star !!! Receptionist is Extremely disrespectful, rude and upon our arrival there was nobody at the property and they don't respond the calls so we had to wait for 45 minutes and after that he stated that he will charge extra 20 € for the second guest and when we said we booked through online and it was a set price but we said it is ok we will pay 20 extra and while we were filling out our information he took the papers away and said "you know what I don't want you guys in my hotel( it's not even a hotel, it looks like an apartment building made of 2 floors) so we said I accept the 20 extra what's the problem and I said what's going on here we just finished a 12 hours car drive to come here to see the lake bled. All together I don't recommend anybody to go to this place. It is not a hotel and it is run by a rude disrespectful man who doesn't even know anything about hospitality. when we booked it the price was set but then he wanted extra 20 and we asked why it is different because in every other hotel we stayed was only 1 price and you pay for the room not for the person, when we said it is ok we can put that extra 20 he just grabbed the info paper back and said no don’t worry I don’t want and we told him it is ok we can pay extra . I just can’t believe people like him are running business . After we left this place we didn’t even go to see anything else in the town and we straight drove to Croatia and now we are enjoying our vacation.
