Guesthouse Kolinska

For me personally expensive for what is offering. Not so good: - 20 min walk to the lake, main street with a lot traffic - they increased prices and no upgrades in side at all, you have feeling that everything is inside already 200 years, also smell in rooms etc. So no modernization at all - you can add 50e per night and be in super nice hotel near lake - shower cabin is small, toilet is dirty, they are every day giving you one shower gel and one shampoo even there are two people in room xD (on my pics it's our own set of shampoos) - if you don't eat pork for breakfast you can eat eggs with eggs 😅 - isolation in rooms is .. well there is no isolation Good: There is nice parking for your car. Stuff is nice.

We were 3 senior couples ( 4 of us in 70s ) who stayed at Kolinska a few months ago for 3 days. A very good GH with all amenities. Clean and comfortable. |The room was a bit tight and as we were travelling for 21 days we did have a big suitcase each . But there was a bench and a table to put our bags . Enough cupboard space to stack our clothes.|The breakfast was filling and there was enough for everyone... cornflakes, fruits, yogurt, cheese ,ham, sausage, scrambled eggs and wheat bread. And juices. |Natasha, the wife of the host, kind and charming, served us at breakfast . |We met her daughter Anna who is a very talented artist and her paintings are displayed on the walls. |The only little hitch .. was that all our rooms were on the 2 nd floor. We were prepared for that as we knew that they didn't have a lift. What would have helped after a long and tiring journey is a little help to take the luggage up the stairs! What with 2 of the men having had heart bypass surgeries. Anyway we are glad there were no casualties ! We stayed in many other places that had only stairs but there was always help. |But looking at the bright side, being higher up in room s 20, 24 and 25... we had lovely views of the sunset and the castle on one side and mountains on the other with sunrise !|The Guesthouse is not near the lake but it is only a 20 minute walk away.|If you need any essentials a big Mercator is just 5 mins away.

Little hard beds,but clean and nice. Good aircon. Placed ca12min walk from the lake. Owner/receptionist has his special way of acting, but with a little smile behind his routine talk! We were like his pupils at school,doing exactly how to do routines, and not answereing my unneccessarry questions about showing our passports. But very pacient, when the citytax was a surprise. Booking.com should inform about additional taxes, before finisheing the booking! Not much, but confuseing. Nice breakfast, for a small hotel, or B&B, like former guests noticed!! I agree. For one night,on the road to Istria,it was perfect!

It's cheap and cheerful. We used it for a night stay. Bizarre opening hours and unfriendly staff However if you are just wanting somewhere to sleep that's cheap then good value

Great location. Rich breakfast. The receptionist gave us great tips for eating out and where to eat the famous Bled dessert. The rooms are lovely and have a terrace. Very quiet neighborhood and there are great restaurants nearby.

The rooms were clean BUT ...Hospitality rules would require that one would feel welcome and not be treated as inferior at check-in. An occasional smile would also be appreciated. ..As a non-smoker, I appreciate that smoking is not allowed at the balkonies ( as the proprietor didn't bother to separate the balconies properly). I would further appreciate, though, not to be intimidated by a 200 euro fine and on repeat that I would be expelled from the hotel if I were to smoke at the balcony ...I would like to be able to drink my coffee from the cup without a plate and not get insulted by the manager for doing so. ... It is also considered rude to unplug the coffee machine while I brew a coffee even though the breakfast time passed a few minutes ago. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

After a very bad experience with another guesthouse, this one was worth every cent of what we paid. Very friendly and helpful owner Anton made us forget what we had previously experience. Nice room with comfortable bed with beautiful view of Bled castle, very quiet area, and only about 10 minutes walk to the Lake Bled. ||||I definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work, Anton.👏👏

My family stayed here in late July. The rooms are very comfortable and air-conditioned, which was wonderful as temperatures in Bled were in the 30s, with a balcony providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains.|| Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Anton and all his staff were friendly, helpful and professional.||The guesthouse is situated in a peaceful part of town only a 10 minute walk to the lake and restaurants. There is a supermarket just down the road from guesthouse which proved very handy.||I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse!
