Guesthouse Nibutani Yanto

I liked it a lot, the host was very helpful and the bed was comfortable. It is very close to Dr Munro's house and Ainu museum etc. I only stayed one night and wish I had another day to enjoy some scenery around there and relax in this quiet guesthouse. They have a few food and drink for sale to heat in the microwave, (e.g. curry rice and some drinks) but take note there is no convenience store in this village so you might want to stock up at the previous one. I was happy that there is some breakfast too!

Yanto Guesthouse is beautifully kept, very clean and warm and welcoming. The hosts are very kind and answered questions I had. I went toward the end of November. It was quite cold outside, but the Yanto is kept so warm that it didn't trouble me at all. Yanto has a very nice feel to it. You can also see and sense the passion to share Ainu culture. The beds were comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was great for me to put some meals together. I was able to do some washing which was helpful as I had spent a few days travelling without being able to. I recommend staying a few nights to really get a feel for Nibutani, the museums (one of which is right next door - they are all within easy walking distance, even for me using a cane) and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. I even went when the trees were asleep but it was still beautiful. Twice now I have seen eagles flying overhead.||I think Yanto is a great place to stay with an excellent price, also. I am very impressed. I will come back again, without a doubt. Thank you for having me!

Comfortable beds, very clean, nice atmosphere and thoughtful staff. The best choice to stay in the area. Price is convenient, and there is even a light breakfast every morning. Will definitely stay again.

因為對北海道的愛努文化以及傳統作物有所好奇，因此來到二風谷這邊拜訪與學習。作為一位沒什麼資源的early career researcher，我覺得選擇這間民宿是我來到二風谷時的第一個幸運。 我花了一個下午的時間從新千歲機場轉車到這裡後，基本上已經晚上七點多了。 出乎我意料，老闆很和善地從巴士站迎接我到民宿，我覺得十分貼心。而且幸好有老闆來迎接我，不然二月中旬，這裡的柏油路結了一層厚厚的冰霜，即便穿著雪靴還是很容易滑到。很謝謝老闆來迎接我，不然我抵達的那個晚上應該只能爬著抵達民宿。 民宿裡面十分別緻溫馨，還有許多關於アイヌ的書籍還有黃金神威的漫畫，我基本上是放下行李以後，就坐在大廳的懶人椅上栽進這些資料裡面。牆上還掛著臺灣太巴塱（Tafalong）阿美族的ilisin照片，可以感受到老闆對於原住民文化的重視與熱情。 房間十分舒適，床位也很寬敞。整體而言我覺得是設備很友善的青年旅社。白天前往愛努文化博物館、工藝中心都很方便，附近的溫泉也大約走路二十到三十分鐘可抵達，是個能夠好好享受此地景色的時光。 另外，建議來訪的遊客可以自行帶一些備用糧食，我有先在とみくる買了泡麵、紅茶還有牛奶，這讓我在晚上的時候比較有消夜可以吃，畢竟週圍的店很少且很早就關門。 希望有機會可以再次拜訪，我會等萱茂野資料館開放或者是當地繼續栽培小米或稗等傳統作物時再度來訪以及學習的！也期待哪天可以聽到老闆的stand-up comedy～～

L'atout principal de cette guest house est d'être situé à quelques pas d'un des complexes de musées les plus complets portant sur les ainous. Le gérant lui même est un descendant du peuple autochtone de Hokkaido, et est particulièrement impliqué dans la conservation de la culture et des traduction de ce dernier. Plus qu'un simple lieu de repos, Yanto est un véritable havre encyclopédique dans lequel sont mises à disposition quantité d'ouvrages scientifiques et/ou ludiques sur les ainous. Cette auberge attire assez naturellement des profils de clients très intéressant, anthropologues, artistes et érudits en tout genre... Je ne recommanderais pas à quelqu'un qui n'est pas intéressé par les ainous de venir passer du temps à Yanto, une nuit étant relativement cher pour dormir dans un dortoir (5000 yens) et l'auberge étant très éloigné de toute commodité digne de ce nom.

Une belle guesthouse, l'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Nibutani. Le dortoir est vraiment confortable. Je ne sais pas si c'est la période mais nous n'étions que 3 (2 femmes et 1 homme). Cependant j'ai trouvé l'accueil un peu froid. On m'a vite fait présenter les lieux sans vraiment m'expliquer. Et on m'a laisser là sans même un sourire. Le petit déjeuner est très bof. Pour 1 nuit c'est correct. Le prix est parfait.

二風谷でアイヌトゥスクル（シャーマン）について学ぶために宿泊しました。こちらのお宿にはアイヌに関する書籍が豊富で、２泊ではとても読みきれないほど充実していました。また機会があれば伺いたいと思います。
