The family that owns this place is very friendly and nice. Check in and arrival was very easy. They also were able to move our second cabin to the one right next to us so they shared a parking spot (the cabins are two a piece and divided by a wall). The rooms are simple and clean, and the beds are very comfy. But the bathrooms are very small and the shower curtains needed to be cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast was good.

Located on a working farm just off the ring road, about halfway between the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Höfn. I stayed in a double room with shared bath inside the main building. There are also detached cabins available with private bathrooms. The room was nice size, with two single beds, a large table, and in-room sink. A small nightstand between the beds had two small drawers and there were hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. There were quite a few electrical outlets in the room, but none were located near the table or nightstand which would have made it easier to charge my devices. The hallway toilet/shower was clean and I believe it was shared by three rooms (including mine). Room lighting was good – ceiling lights, a reading light over the bed, and task lighting over the table. The rate included a nice breakfast buffet. There were no hot items, but plenty of proteins (hard boiled eggs, meats, some very nice cheeses, herring, lamb paté) as well as a variety of bakery products, fruits, juices, etc. If you stay in the main building be aware that the breakfast area is right outside the bedrooms and it could get noisy in the morning if you plan on sleeping in.

Very nice guesthouse within the reach of all the famous destinations at southern coast of Iceland! - cozy house with good insulation and good furniture - nice showers - friendly sheep at your doorstep - a cute little dog which guards the premises in a cute way and loves to cuddle (take caution when you come up the driveway!) - nice breakfast with amazing cake and dessert! - in the houses there are water heaters

It's little place of paradise! The curtains are thick, so they cover very well the extern light allowing a good night sleep during summer. There is a nice trail (~3hours) do to, starting next to the guesthouse, I recommend to do it clockwise! Nice personnel! Definitely the best place I stayed in Island, with sheeps as neighbour.

The guesthouse is made up of two-room cabins. Old cabins. We had neighbors but never heard them. Nice, clean, and no smell. Two beds are separate. It is a nice bed, not super soft, but very comfortable. Wood floors. The bathroom looks worn, but everything worked well. Plenty of hot water, TV, and Wifi. Breakfast is simple but good. Good views. This is a sheep farm, and sheep walk around the cabins. You should enjoy your stay as long as you expect a comfortable cabin and not a 5-star hotel.

We as a group of 4, stayed in the family cottage in early July for 2 nights. It was a family-run farm guesthouse and everyone was very kind. The complimentary breakfast with lots of choices was amazing! And the view was stunning too: there were a few sheep on the farm, roaming around. Truly recommended!

After a long day, we had planned on having dinner at Guesthouse. Upon arrival we were told that they DO NOT have a restaurant (website still notes that they do have a restaurant) and that we would need to drive 30 minutes into Hofn. Breakfast was good but very expensive.

Our particular room was compact and modern, but was comfortable and had a sofa bed floor seating to admire the view of the farm.|No minifridge.|Breakfast was average but contrary to their website they do NOT serve dinner...better eat before you get there.|Good access to hiking.
