We stayed one night. Room and bathroom were a good size. It was quiet and had annice view of the water and farm. There is a resident dog which was super friendly and loved pets. There is a small breakfast buffet with limited options for food but enough to get the day started. Room was clean and simple. It was close to our super jeep tour the next day just a few kilometers down the road.

Wonderful spot! Excellent location, plenty to do nearby and a very nice hike that starts right from the property. Service was exceptional and very friendly. Responsive and quick to help with any issues that arise. Would highly recommend!

Very nice people. Terrific breakfast spread. We stayed in the house. Very basic room with two twin beds, a sink, and a desk. Bathroom was shared with two other rooms, and was never a problem. The hostess told us about their multigenerational farm, and a little about their kids activities and school. Fun to hear. Their dog got hit by a guest who was leaving, and we hope that the dog is ok!!!!

Very nice spot Clean comfortable rooms and great scenery, hiking trails from the yard up to overlook a glacier. Fresh baby sheep all over. Definitely recommend

It's clean pristine and has a yummy breakfast with Icelandic food! The receptionist was very nice. Rooms are cute and have everything you need.

The family that owns this place is very friendly and nice. Check in and arrival was very easy. They also were able to move our second cabin to the one right next to us so they shared a parking spot (the cabins are two a piece and divided by a wall). The rooms are simple and clean, and the beds are very comfy. But the bathrooms are very small and the shower curtains needed to be cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast was good.

It's little place of paradise! The curtains are thick, so they cover very well the extern light allowing a good night sleep during summer. There is a nice trail (~3hours) do to, starting next to the guesthouse, I recommend to do it clockwise! Nice personnel! Definitely the best place I stayed in Island, with sheeps as neighbour.

Located on a working farm just off the ring road, about halfway between the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Höfn. I stayed in a double room with shared bath inside the main building. There are also detached cabins available with private bathrooms. The room was nice size, with two single beds, a large table, and in-room sink. A small nightstand between the beds had two small drawers and there were hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. There were quite a few electrical outlets in the room, but none were located near the table or nightstand which would have made it easier to charge my devices. The hallway toilet/shower was clean and I believe it was shared by three rooms (including mine). Room lighting was good – ceiling lights, a reading light over the bed, and task lighting over the table. The rate included a nice breakfast buffet. There were no hot items, but plenty of proteins (hard boiled eggs, meats, some very nice cheeses, herring, lamb paté) as well as a variety of bakery products, fruits, juices, etc. If you stay in the main building be aware that the breakfast area is right outside the bedrooms and it could get noisy in the morning if you plan on sleeping in.
