Great place to stay. Always made to feel welcome. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are a very good size with comfortable beds and great rain head shower.

I booked this hotel for 33 days. After the third day I had a family emergency and had to leave the Philippines. The hotel would not credit me any of the days the room was not used. Guijo suite made me go through a bunch of loops which never turned out to be of any matter. The people at the property knew of my situation and said that there was nothing to worry about and I would be fully credited for the unused portion of my booking. I would not recommend this property to anyone. They don't seem to be working an honest operation.

2 out of 5 stars I’ve stayed here a few times because it fits my budget — decent rooms, friendly staff, and affordable rates. But the customer service, especially housekeeping, is inconsistent and frustrating. They keep changing their cleaning policies: no service, every 3 days, by request only, now you have to hang a sign and call — it’s confusing and inconvenient. It feels like they’re cutting corners under the excuse of “policy.” There are no amenities beyond a basic morning-to-lunch food service, and nothing after 3 PM. If you're okay with minimal services, it's manageable, but don't expect much beyond a bed and a polite front desk. Overall: great price, but poor follow-through on basic hospitality. I've been patient, but I can't give more than 2 stars.

8.5/10 Here are a few specifics about the place: • It's in a quiet residential area. • Despite being in a residential area, there are nearby restaurants for dining options. • A 5-minute walk to a nearby convenience store (7/11). • No corkage fee, so you can order food or groceries from Grab or the mart. • They have their own café in the lobby, but payments for meals and items at the café are separate. However, you can still order both through room service. (Just remember to add "Food Allowance" to your budget if your booking doesn’t include free breakfast). Must Try: Spanish Latte & Croissant! • Fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. • Blackout curtains in the room! • The room and cabinet space are quite spacious, so you'll have plenty of room for your luggage. The bathroom is a bit small, but still functional and easy to move around in. • Booking a Grab is simple and convenient. • They provide toiletries, but if two of you are staying, you may need to request extra soap and a tube of 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. • The bidet hose pressure is quite strong—press the trigger gently to avoid any surprises. • They charge P100 for an extra pillow, but it's for the entire duration of your stay. • The TV isn’t a smart TV, but it does have cable. Overall, our stay was great and comfortable. Recommended for 3* Hotels!

The hotel is great for its affordable price—this is my second time booking, and I’ve had a good experience overall. I also love the convenient coffee spot downstairs. However, the only downside was the smelly, moldy shower curtain, which needs to be replaced. I had to endure it for 3 nights🤮

SNEAKY and GREEDY. Beware when checking in here! I've been staying here for 2 years whenever I'm in Makati and even recommend it to friends. Last January 2025, I booked and paid for 4 nights via Agoda at around 1100 per night. A day before my stay, they cancelled the booking saying it was the wrong rate and made a counter offer of 2200 per night! When I checked with Agoda, the rate was just 1500. Because Agoda will still have to refund and takes time, I had to scramble to find another hotel. When your budget is already set and expecting your trip to go smoothly, this greed is not worth staying here again. Not going back to this hotel anymore.

This hotel stay was an absolute nightmare. First, the bathroom sink was clogged—because nothing says “relaxing stay” like standing water. The shower curtain? Completely useless. Might as well have no divider at all. Then there’s the ridiculous lack of basic amenities. No utensils, so unless you’re skilled in medieval dining, get ready to eat with your bare hands. No microwave in the room either, so reheating food means hauling yourself to the lobby like it’s some kind of quest. And when I asked for the third time, the receptionist suddenly claimed it was “broken.” Convenient excuse. As if that weren’t enough, the hallways reeked of bleach—so strong it could rival Chowking’s signature scent. Honestly, this place is an overpriced disappointment. 1 star. Never coming back.

What you get is a good clean room with a nice shower and a nice lobby. I had to change rooms twice as the first one had broken bed headrest and smelled very bad, second one reeked of smoke even tho it was a non smoking room. But the reception was very accommodating and changed my room without any hassle. But the location is terrible. Even tho Google shows 'makati', it's a taxi ride away. If the location was near poblacion, it would be a solid 4 star stay. This has nothing near by.

Yelp
This is a comfortable place to stay that is clean and in a safe area. You can walk easily (a short walk) to a grocery store, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, and a 7-11. Staff are helpful . Use Grab to get a car lift and it costs about 250 php to get to Divisoria area. Some things have changed because they use to have a nice breakfast buffet before COVID, but you can still order from a set menu. Our last visit was 5 years ago, so still a great value today.

Yelp
It was my first trip to Manila and I wasn't sure where to stay. After doing some research, I decided on this one. Located at the heart of San Antonio area, the travel from the airport to this hotel and from the hotel to the good eating places isn't far but the issue is the traffic can be a problem! What I like about this hotel is the comfortable room, free breakfast and wifi connection is strong. The price I paid was around US $50 for a suite room a night and it's certainly value for money. If you need transport to the airport, avoid the hotel transportation (ridiculously expensive) and taxis, go for either Uber or GrabTaxi. Customer service is a disappointment though when I communicated with the staff for help and they just stood there listening, fortunately a passer-by came to my aid. For the breakfast, there is a wide range of food but I don't understand why do they charge for juice - an important part of breakfast. Overall, I am happy with my stay. Most important thing is a comfortable room with strong wifi and I got that.

Yelp
The place is nice, quiet and away from construction sites. The deluxe room is spacious and relaxing. I especially love the bamboo that can be seen from the windows. The toilet and bath is clean. The bed is comfortable. The food from breakfast hall and café are delicious too. The staff are polite and friendly. An excellent value for money. Will definitely recommend and come back.

Yelp
A nice and clean boutique hotel with modern touches and just enough amenties in a gritty yet hip neighborhood. - The beds are comfortable - The bathroom is clean. - The WiFi is free and strong. Those are the three essential things I need for a comfortable stay. In addition, the staff at Guijo Suites were helpful and friendly. And the breakfast buffet is a nice option. My only gripe is that their listed airport transportation rates were pretty high. Which is pretty much a non-issue if you know how to use Uber and GrabTaxi to get around. A very strong four stars for Guijo Suites. If they were to ever add a fitness center, I would bump it up to five stars. Regardless, I would definitely stay there again and not hesitate to recommend Guijo Suites to friends and family. Pro Tip: Eat dinner at 12/10 two doors down :)

Yelp
I don't usually stay in a hotel whenever I travel back to the Philippines but this one is an exception! I booked my stay for two nights to make sure I have a nice and quiet place to rest after the traveling i do around and out of the city. The place nestles right in the middle of the city where everything has easy access...just have to bear with the weather (just started to get used to it). Everything is already prepared for you....very cozy and inviting. Staff is courteous and nice and will always assist you whenever you need it. I love the morning breakfast because they went far and beyond with the choices which I didn't see on a regular hotel I stayed back in the US. I will definitely recommend this to my foreign friends whenever they plan to visit and I will surely come back here....thank you so much for making my stay comfortable and simply fantastic! And you what I stayed one more night!!!
