Rip off! It's no wonder that the park was nearly empty on school holidays, $137 for 2 nights in swags, they charge extra for kids of over 2 years old $21 for 3 coffee's, $67 for fish and chips with a burger. Sad that such a nice place just tries to extort there customer's. Areas of the park was flooded because of the rain, Won't be coming back here again.

This is a real place where people can enjoy in leisure time without any problem. There are shallow places where any body can take a dip with their seniors in tow. There are small boats available where grown up kids can go to short distance . Overall it is a nice place to spend your day or two without any worry.

This place was really nice. Stayed for a couple nights in a tent even though it was a caravan camp. There were kayak renters and the water was really refreshing. There were washing & drying machines and refrigerators. Nice spot to chill away from busy life 😊

Very friendly and informative staff, spacious sites and choices if you need a sea view or a couple of spots to catch up with fellow travellers, BBQ, camp kitchen and ablutions are cleaned twice a day. Next door has a general store with very reasonable prices (any product from their sister shop at Two Rocks can be sent over, recommend their freshly roasted hot chicken) a Cafe offering coffee cake fish and chips (they batter their own fish). Book early as weekends get busy.

Even with a hammer, we struggled to get the tent pegs in more than a third of the way due to tree roots and rocks. It rained heavily the first night and while we didn’t get wet, mud swept down the embankment behind us and covered our tent with dirt. ||The ‘newly renovated ablutions’ haven’t received any TLC in a decade and weren’t cleaned regularly. Would probably be a nice place if you had a caravan with your own toilet.

My trip had been organised for 3 months with 4 other caravan's, family trip. The caravan bay was higher than the road, which is quite annoying as it is hard to get my van off the towball, however there are a few parks north of Perth like this, just be prepared with extra mounting blocks. The big disappointment was the following day, the manager accused me of speeding, I stopped and stated I was not, he did not like my attitude and kicked myself and my 13 yr old son out of the park with no proof and evidence, just his opinion. In 30 yrs of travel, camping and caravaning and a reasonably clean driving record i have never been accused of this before. I don't care as there are many other parks which don't have arrogant managers, just won't be visiting this town again. Overall a big disappointment and I believe over the top reaction. Thanks for ruining mothers day.

Guilderton looks amazing. I was shocked to see paid parking at the only spot that you can visit the river and swimming hole. I get there is limited parking, but wtf? Deters me from wanting to stay or visit again. Don't do a day visit here, you'll pay for it.

You can't beat the location. The park was as expected. Didnt see any staff at all, it was pretty much help yourself, but it worked. Sundays there is a live band at the Cafe, which is excellent and fun.

Yelp
This place is what memories are made of! Just popped in last night, think it would have been about 15 years since the last time I was there? Just needed to grab a feed on the run for the family, unfortunately their general store / take away outlet serve the eastern states style potato cake, not the Perth style "potato scallop".... Big difference! Their $8 of chips was shockingly only a few handfuls! Quite disappointing and their service was surprisingly not that special. All that aside, the sunset from the lookout was absolutely spectacular!

Yelp
For the Easter long weekend, a group of friends and I headed to Moore River. We were booked in to Guilderton Caravan Park and had a fabulous time, eating, drinking and hanging out. The town is very small and so anyone who doesn't live there was generally camping like ourselves. Just across the road is a lovely cafe, the river and its only a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed jet skiing in the crystal blue ocean. The facilities at the camp site were great, nothing over the top but for the price I wouldn't expect anything fancy anyway. This camping ground is a great place to head to to get away for the weekend as it is only a 50 minute drive away, will certainly be back!

Yelp
Location location location. As I type the Indian Ocean surf can be heard crashing against the shore not 200 yards from our van. Green shady and right on the mouth of the Moore river if you are a fisher or surfer this is your spot. we are neither and it's still not bad. The region is not Margaret River , but then again there are way fewer crowds of people here. Smallish sites, wouldn't want to be here in the school holidays, but it's not so we are fine. Clean and comfortable , did I mention the Ocean sounds...?
