Gujžina - Slovenska kulinarika na vegetarijansko veganski način

Not sure why, but it looks like it’s temporarily closed at the moment. We stopped by for dessert during our trip to Ljubljana last year. I forgot the names of the desserts, but I’m uploading some photos. Everything we tried was super tasty. Lovely spot with great service.

Nice restaurant, traditional Slovenian cuisine vegan style. Excellent! Had tartar, polenta with mushrooms, both very tasty, gnocchi with pumpkin seed pesto (which could have been spiced a bit better). Strudel as dessert was fantastic. Prices okay. Music a bit too loud, but friendly waiters. All in all a great visit! Mostly foreigners, why?

We were just in time to get a table before you needed a reservation, the previous night they were full but glad we returned and tried again. Big menu, all vegetarian with vegan options. A mix of meat substitute (eg seitan steak) and vegetable based dishes. Really enjoyed the dodoli tris, and my friend enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi. Very friendly and attentive waiters, despite every table being full. We tried the layer cake too, Potica, which was very nice, not what I expected but I liked it!

YUM! What a spectacular vegan/vegetarian experience!!!! We were so delighted to get a spot here, be careful on Sundays in the summer as restaurants get busy as supermarkets are closed. Nonetheless, this seems to be a popular spot with locals and tourists alike, with lots of charming outdoor and unfortunate seating. The taste of the food was gorgeous, so flavoursome and unique. There is an extensive menu of creative, typical Slovenian food. It was hard to choose! Personally I recommend the “feast for two”. My pictures are of the homemade ham with delicious sauces, the delicious stew, and the typical local cake. Gorgeous! There is a huge choice of drinks too. The staff are very kind and informative too! Thanks for a wonderful dining experience! We won’t forget this beautiful evening in Ljubljana :)

This restaurant is very good and known for desserts and sweets. You can also eat and drink there. The service is very good and the restaurant is perfectly located in Ljubljana. There are many choices of vegetarian -vegan dishes. I don't know if all the menus are vegetarian :) I recommend this address 🙂

in the center of the city. has a terrace. they offer very good goulash and some other traditional food like sausages, ham, ... lots of different wines + great local craft dark beer Bevog.

SO DELICIOUS! We are so happy our tour guide recommended this place, everything was delicious and the staff was super helpful. We loved our meal (so much so that we came back 2 more times during our short visit in Ljubljana). The dödöle was our favorite, you must try it! Thank you Gujžina for a delicious taste of Slovenia!

AMAZING food and service!!! Vegan and vegetarian dishes. Open until 10pm. I am so stunned by an amazing place in Slovenia. We had the Vegan platter as a starter and the dips were coconut based and rly good. The bread was so fluffy and decent (coming from Germany). Then we had the Tagliatelle and the Busckwheat, very nice seasoned but simple. For dessert we had the famous Gibanica with goat cheese (they also have the vegan version available, without goat cheese). A M A Z I N G. Would 3000% come back and recommend. The only down side was that they closed the coffee machine around 9pm even though they close later, a pity to not have after dinner or to go with dessert.
