Gül Hanım House boutique hotel is just a beautiful, silent, safe, and convenient place to stay in the old town. A nice courtyard, full of various plants & flowers in pots, surrounded by three bedrooms and a lounge make a traditional and warm place to live. The property owner Ms. Selay is just wonderful; she gives the utmost attention to make her guests happy. Providing maps, giving guidance on city attractions & restaurants were really appreciated. The property is extremely hygienic. The breakfast is filling. Free tea & coffee is available 24 hours a day. If I go to Lefkoşa (Nicosia – Turkish part) again, it is the only place that I would like to stay.

We stayed for two nights in April at Gul Hanim House and really enjoyed it. Great location just inside the old city walls, beautifully decorated building. Breakfast with home-made jams and other-home cooked foods in a lovely little courtyard. The host, Selay, will give you plenty of useful information about Nicosia and other locations in Northern Cyprus. We took a taxi from Larnaca airport to the hotel, but with little luggage, you could also get dropped off at the Ledra Street crossing and walk ten minutes to the hotel. No need for a car while checking out Nicosia.

Ms. Selay was very helpful in all processes from the beginning to the end of our vacation. She explained in detail all the places to visit in Cyprus after we arrived. They have very nice jams for breakfast. I especially recommend pomegranate and peach jam. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Everything was very nice. We highly recommend it. Thank you very much

My wife and I stayed at Gul Hanim House for 5 nights in May 2023. Located in a narrow street in a safe neighbourhood. Great location to visit by foot both sides of Nicosia. Easy access to share taxis to visit other cities in the North, and to public transport serving the South. Very clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice. The owner is very nice and willing to provide useful information and recommendation for good restaurants. The maid is always smiling. In a few words, highly recommended.

The hotel is located in a perfect spot - very close to both city center, all landmarks as well as bus station. A perfect place for people looking for an authentic experience. The service is great and the owner so incredibly helpful - during our stay we got great recommendations regarding landmarks we should see, cities we should visit, best places to eat at. A turkish style breakfast is included in the price. We will definitely return to Cyprus and without a doubt stay at this location. :)

This beautifully restored home was an absolute gem of a find. Great location within easy reach of all the main sights, the border crossing and transport out of the city. It's a lovely relaxed spot, with a chilled courtyard, and feels like you're stepping back in time. The rooms are comfortable, the shower was the best I've had in a long time, and the owner is super helpful. It was a pleasure staying and a delicious breakfast was a perfect way to finish (homemade pomegranate jam and carob and tahini spread). Really hope to return and would recommend without hesitation.

This was a last minute booking for only one night, but I wish I had found this hotel earlier and booked for a longer stay. This hotel is a small beautiful gem hidden away within the narrow alleys of old Nicosia. What can I say that hasn't been said before by others reviewer? In a perfect location, this cute little hotel has everything. I would give it 5*s for comfort and amenities. The breakfast was the best I've had in a long time, freshly made filter coffee and freshly squeeze orange juice 😋 We ate in the beautiful courtyard that is so relaxing with its many beautiful potted plants; it has a great vibe and wonderful place to chill. |The host Selay was wonderfully welcoming. Thank you. 🙏

We had a wonderful stay here at the end of March. The breakfasts were one of the best we had on our three week trip with freshly squeezed orange juice, filter coffee and many different home made preserves. Selay went out of her way to be helpful with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions, not just for Lefkosa but also for Kyrenia and Famugasta. WE would definitely stay here again should we return to the city.
