We had a great stay at this hotel. The property is very nice, with clean and spacious rooms with the nice view and a good breakfast selection. The location is perfect, especially if you want to explore the nightlife, as there are plenty of great places within walking distance. The pool is not very big, but it’s definitely enough to relax and enjoy some chill time. The only downside was the room service – every time we ordered food or drinks, we had to wait at least 40 minutes, often following up with several calls. Other than that, everything else was excellent, and we would still recommend the hotel for a comfortable stay in Bahrain

Had the pleasure of staying at the Gulf Hotel twice—just for a night each time while transiting through Bahrain—and both experiences were excellent. The hotel is super clean, beautifully maintained, and the service across the board is top-notch. The rooms were spacious, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect place to rest after a long journey. Highly recommend for anyone passing through or visiting Bahrain!

My wife and I stayed at this magnificent hotel for one day before connecting with another flight to Singapore. We absolutely fell in love with the facilities and the high level of service and professionalism provided by the staff. The hotel itself is opulent and beautifully designed. As Marriott Bonvoy members, we were treated royally. We have no idea how in other reviews, people were so negative. I would like to especially mention the outstanding service provided by Jithu Varghese from the Al Waha Restaurant and Waad, Rychel, and Abdullah at the front desk. They made our stay even more memorable. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful experience at Gulf hotel. I have stayed here multiple times and multiple events. Gulf hotel staff has always been very welcoming and hospitable. Very good car park.

Very lavish 5 star hotel with all the 5 star trimmings. It’s a huge hotel!! Gyms, spa, convention centre and a very wide and good variety of restaurant options. The service is good and the staff are helpful. The rooms need refurbishing but they aren’t bad. I will be the first to return as soon as they modernize their rooms!

I’ve stayed at this hotel at least four times, the most recent being about four months ago—I just forgot to leave a review. What I really like is that the hotel has everything in one place: good restaurants, a bar, pool, and spa. We're a family of five, so finding the right space can be tricky, but their apartment-style suites are just perfect for us. The biggest downside, however, is the persistent smell of cigarette smoke. It’s really unpleasant, and unfortunately, whenever we bring it up, the only response is someone showing up with air freshener—which, of course, doesn’t solve the problem. Every time I’ve stayed here, the smell has been the same, which is really disappointing

I have a disappointing experience at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain, especially considering it is affiliated with the Marriott Bonvoy program. From the moment I arrived, the general atmosphere of the hotel felt dark and outdated, far from what is expected at this level of accommodation.||The room furniture is old and worn out, he bathroom towels in the bathroom felt old and also worn out. The overall décor felt tired and lacked any modern or welcoming touch. The overall ambiance is dull and uninspiring. The computer area available for guests was also completely outdated, with old equipment that functioned poorly—very inconvenient for anyone needing to work or complete ||The breakfast selection is fine, but the staff were somehow rude, disorganized, inattentive, and service was slow. At no point did I feel the level of professionalism or hospitality that I’ve come to associate with Marriott Bonvoy properties.||I would not recommend this hotel based on its atmosphere, service, or the overall outdated state of its facilities. I hope this review prompts serious attention and improvement.
