They knew they were getting about 30 people on vans, yet the temperature in that small place full of windows was 79 degrees, plain as day on the thermostat. We were all sweating, looking for a/c vents - even asking where the a/c vents were, fanning ourselves-even with their own flyers and books. The employees giggled about us being so hot and fanning. Not one person offered to change the temperature so that we could shop in comfort.

Hid a geocache here. Invested a good amount of $$ in the hide to make their place stand out. Gave them my contact info in case anything was to happen... no phone call that it was removed and thrown away by their maintenance crew. Had to find out from another geocacher. Have a huge event happening in Feb with 1,000 people coming. Was hoping to send a bunch of foot traffic and business their way. Clearly they don't want it.

This is an excellent shop that has a lot of cool gear. It all happened back in June 2012, when the City of Gulf Shores unveiled a new brand and logo, simply SMALL TOWN, BIG BEACH. The desire for shirts, hats, stickers, and decals, was big too. So this cozy little shop on the corner of Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59) and Clubhouse Dr began making high-quality merchandise available to locals and visitors. From t-shirts and hats to drinkware and beach accessories, this store and GulfShoresGear.com is the only place you'll find official Gulf Shores merchandise. There's also some very cool merch available from local artists as well. It's open Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-3pm.
