"You can't do much better when it comes to U.S. beaches than the Gulf Coast. Pretty palm trees, clear water, and pristine white sand make this Gulf beach a standout. It's located close to a boardwalk, restaurants, and shops with easy access to parking. The well-kept beach is also a great place for activities like volleyball and boogie boarding in the relatively calm surf — and the $3 admission to the pier is worth getting to see the friendly fishermen, hungry pelicans, and an occasional dolphin." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Beautiful beaches, friendly people in the surrounding area. I highly suggest going to unwind and to watch the sunrise, and set. ☀️ 🌇 ⛱️ 💜

It's the BEST! Every now and then they have problems with Red TIDE but they're trying to fix it! National beach volleyball tournaments are held here. Pure white sands...you can't beat it. Shout out to South Alabama and Baldwin County: Alabama's best. To get there, take Highway 59 from Interstate 10 south ALL THE WAY DOWN UNTIL IT DEAD-ENDS. You can't miss it. It's about a 30 to 40 minute drive because the speed limit is so low. CAUTION: The police in Baldwin County on Highway 59 "don't play." Stay within the speed limit...and no, I didn't get a ticket 😂 !

..Attended the 2024 Shrimp Festival. The atmosphere was its usual kind of wonderful. Unfortunately, the food was subpar. I don't recall the vendor's name, but it was one of those mega ones with 30+ items to choose from. We choose seafood Gumbo (only 1 shrimp, thick, not seasoned at all), shrimp poboy (popcorn shrimp UNDEVEINED), grilled chicken kabobs (asked if it was chicken breast; was told yes, but it was dark meat.. I don't eat dark meat) and chicken tenders (5yr old gave them a thumbs up). It was my mom's 79th, and she was just thrilled to be there.. which made at all worthwhile.

I have been to more than 25 countries throughout the world and this is the most beautiful beach I've seen. The white sand and beach are meticulously cleaned and maintained. Roll Tide!

The parking was simple and a nice lot. Overall, there are limited spaces. The beach is extremely clean and beautiful. However, no matter how long you're there, the parking costs too much. I was only there for 30 minutes and the cost was $15.
