Gulhan Pizza

Very hospitable - they gave complimentary peppers and olive, bread with dips, baklava, and tea, all were delicious. We ordered two pide, both tasted very good and were very filling. The service was very fast, even though it was quite crowded. Would definitely recommend.

I came to this place on the recommendation of my friend Hamza. He told me that if I wanted to try good Turkish cuisine, that's all in this place. The place is very large and can accommodate many guests at once. The decor of the place is not in my taste. The service is very polite, but it is very difficult for them to speak English. However, it's easy to come to an agreement because we have a choice between pizza or a traditional Turkish grill. I ordered a mixed grill. The food was served quickly. A large and varied portion offered a variety of flavors. The plate included three very tasty types of meat and side dishes. If you want such cuisine, I can confidently recommend this place. At the end, I received a snack from the staff, baklava and Turkish tea. Thank you!

Brought my parents here for lunch today. We had a late breakfast elsewhere so didn’t want to order too much food and not be able to finish it, so I ordered a mixed grill for 2 people. We shared the meal with 4 people and it was the right amount of food for lunch. Meats were tasty and tender, and also the bread was very tasty. Service from all staff we interacted with was friendly with a good sense of humor.

The starter mezze platter was laughable. For 12€ you get 4 tiny dollops of dips. The main dishes weren’t great. The sides that come with the meal weren’t good but the meat itself was enjoyable. I wouldn’t personally recommend dining here to anyone but maybe we just got unlucky. Also, the bathrooms were indescribably bad.

Wonderful service and much too much food for the price you pay. 😀 I ordered a Shish Tawouk and the sides it came with included some rice, a salad, flat bread, baked potato and fries. Twice the potatoes. Woohoo! The restaurant also kindly gave us some olives to begin and some apple tea with baklava at the end of the meal. It wasn't the tastiest chicken I have ever had, but very good and the service was soooo kind.

Very good experience! Food is excellent; here you can enjoy a very nice meal for a very cheap price, compared to what "normal" prices are at Ghent restaurants. Different kind of Turkish dishes are prepared, but I suggest their Turkish pizzas which are AMAZING! The only "bad" thing about the place is that, if you seat outside, there will be a lot of cars passing by and lots of noise, but this is not restaurant's fault at all! I suggest sitting inside, next to the window if possible. If will be much nicer there! They also have nice selection of drinks, including soft drinks, tea, wine and beer with very democratic price. It is a must in Ghent!

It is a very nice and cozy place for friends or family dining. The food is very good and the service is awesome. Every time we go there, it's a new experience. The food is super tasty and worth the price. The apple tea after every dinning, is fabulous. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. Worth visiting the place. I would recommend this place highly for Turkish food.
