Gülhane Park

I enjoyed walking through the park. It is very close to the most interesting sites in Istanbul and it is refreshing to visit it after visiting buildings and museums around. There is a small caffe inside with very nice ambient. But I think the park lacks a little variety as far as the the natural elements like flowers and trees are concerned. All in all worth visiting.

This park is a safe space from a very hectic old town. A quiet, clean and well laid out relaxing area with plenty of tree shade, fountains, bird life. Some great history and the backdrop of the palace to top it off. It is also the best walk from the old town down to the river and the best cafe on the rivers edge.

A very beautiful and large park. A great place to hide from the heat. And just get away from the noise of the city. I wanted to add videos to the review, but I can’t upload them, so please believe that this park is very beautiful and if you have time for a walk, it’s worth it!

Gülhane Park is a lovely park to walk through. The paths are clean and easy to navigate. There are toilets available. It is near lots of shops and restaurants. The fountain spelling out words and small pictures was super cool. Be sure to wander through!

We visited on a Sunday and it was quite crowded, but the atmosphere was lively. Gülhane Park is a lovely place for a walk, enjoying flowers, and relaxing under the trees. The gardens are well-kept and family-friendly. We had coffee and lemonade at a café inside the park—tasty and reasonably priced. A peaceful spot in the heart of Istanbul.

Easily the best public park I've ever been to. Trees so beautiful, flowers so colorful and lively. After walking inside Topkapi for hours, you NEED to enjoy a calm, wonderful break at Gülhane park. Would love to have a picnic here one day.

Wow, this park is breathtaking. Definitelly has to be seen, very big park, fountains, flowers, paths for walking, benches to take a rest in the shade of the trees… Its beauty has to be seen it can not be spoken. Don’t miss it on your next trip to Istanbul

A free piece of serenity in the busyness of Istanbul. There were so many trees, benches, grassy areas and tucked away spots to sit and chill. There are some nice gardens including a rose garden. I enjoyed how many benches there were. There is a playground in the middle and some fountains at one end. The people going through picking up rubbish do a good job.
