I recently visited Gumati in Bogor and was blown away by the authentic traditional Sundanese cuisine! The standout dishes for me were the Sate Kulit (crispy chicken skin satay) and Sate Paru (beef lung satay), which were both incredibly flavorful and tender. The Ayam Goreng (traditional fried chicken) was also a highlight - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff and traditional decor. Overall, I highly recommend Gumati for anyone looking to try delicious and authentic Sundanese food!

Service started at 1 pm. Excellent dishes on the buffet. Some were quiet rare. Like oncom.

I dont know the reason why the steward/ess ask to give maximum rate in google review. After that, they will take a picture the proof of review you have submitted. Another awkward moment if you want to give actual rating based on your experience. For reward, you would given a cup of tea (ice or hot, sweet or plain). You decided, was it worth for a cup of tea? Pros : + breathtaking Mt.Salak view + large prayer room + good vibes of services (based on my experience offcourse) + free flow sayur asem, lalapan, sambel + good for group meal + walkable from Kebun Raya Bogor and Bogor Station. Cons: - no smoking restriction. Smoker (as always, sigh), just smoke anywhere and didnt give a damn about kids or baby around them. Of for short : smoke everywhere. - expensive (for me) - not a 'special' taste of food. I mean, its good, delicious. but not the sssuuuperrr tasty.. Again, based on my personal opinion. ××××× ? Not yet check the toilet how tidy and clean they are. Hope: * make a smoking room to maintain clear air. * give an instruction/procedure where to start, what to do first * finally, hope all the steward/ess well treat by management.

Atmosphere in here like sundanese and pf course for the food also. But I think for the price is quites expensive. Self service to take the prasmanan food and they will fry the food like chickens or fish etc.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience with one of the best views of Mount Salak to be found. Friendly staff, excellent menu selection and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this experience to tourists and locals alike.

Not my favorite for sure, some of the food did not look fresh after being out for a while I guess. Taste wise is okay, fried chicken is normal, sambal kentang balado was dry and not tasty. Ordered coconut for my drinks and it didnt taste good either. Lalapan is all you can take along with sambal and sayur asam but we found bugs and 🐌 on the lalapan so we didnt want to it them. This restaurant need to wash the lalapan properly. No pesticide is good but eating bugs accidentally is not fun. Price wise, I expected cheaper for the taste. Restaurant view is okay but somehow does not appear clean.

Came here to celebrate my dad's birthday. The place has changed a lot from luxurious restaurant to 'affordable' buffet—it can be expensive depend on what you order. Sayur asem and sambals are free and refillable (beware, they're super spicy!). Foods are tasty except for cumi asam manis—it's underwhelming and doesn't match the other sundanese picks. Good view with warm vibes. The downside is some options on the menu aren't available and somehow the prices are different from what I saw on Google (some are cheaper, some are more expensive).

This Sundanese restaurant, located near the Bogor Botanical Gardens (kebun raya bogor) , offers traditional Sundanese cuisine. Customers can choose their food and drinks, pay at the cashier, and enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Salak while waiting for our order to be cooked. The parking lot is quite spacious, the food is delicious, and the service is reasonably fast despite the large number of customers. The "sambal dadak" (spicy chili sauce) is very hot, so if you can't handle the spiciness, it's better to use the shrimp paste sauce instead. This restaurant is recommended for family dining.
