"Gun Hill offers a panoramic view of Barbados. Used to communicate military emergencies and as rallying points in the event of civil disorder, the station was built as a security measure in 1818. Restored by the Barbados National Trust, it today houses military memorabilia. Visitors can also climb the tower, enjoy a picnic in the pavilion, or partake in food and drinks at the Fusilier Bar and Cafe."

The historic signal station in St George, with the famous Lion carved from the local limestone. Fantastic 360 degree views across St George and neighbouring parishes. A visit is highly recommended, learn how this site fitted into the chain of signaling stations across Barbados.

Great historic site, with cafe, gardens, and interpretation. Fantastic views of the island. Worth it just for that! Great attached garden areas, plenty of cannon (original) and plenty of history, learning and information. Can't remember how much tickets were, but we're available at the door. And reasonable. Would recommend!

Wonderful scenery. You're able to see the more of the island when climbing to the top.

This is a signal station used during slavery. It's a beautifully maintained museum/event center and the proprietors gave us a brief, but informative history lesson on how the stations were used. Super dope spot

Pros: Exceeded expectations. Expected good views but they were !!! Went on Saturday and very quiet.. Took a short video because photos just can't capture it.They have play area for kids. Clean washrooms. Very friendly welcome. Wasn't sure if I wanted to pay the entrance if 15 but so glad I did. Flowers, Old lights leading up the trail. Cons: Would have like to see the old Cannons in action and see how far cannonballs could travel...could they reach the ocean and take out the vicious Pirates? One can dream?
