Delicious food, big portions. Fast service. Great outdoor seating. ❗️The only remark I want to make-we were watching the cooks make our food, and they were not wearing gloves, that’s very bad and needs attention immediately❗️

Google
This is a cute little personable place that is otherwise surrounded by cookie-cutter touristy shops. Hands down the best Old Fashioned I've had. Bartender knew what he was doing. We had both the potato skins and brie on crostini sides. Food, drinks and service was spot on!

Bunny

Google
Everything was really good. Loved the peach buratta salad , sorry no pics finished it in seconds. The veggie bowl ,everything was so good , Sour cauliflower and baked Brussels, rice cooked to perfection. Salmon was a tad bit over cooked but orzo and asparagus so good.

Google
Very nice location, I've been there before, but our most recent visit was annoying. I brought a group to have dinner there and one of the guests ordered a glass of house Chardonnay. They came back and said they were out of the house Chardonnay and offered a different wine that was $4 more. First of all, they should have given us that glass for the same price and we would have been fine to have ordered additional glasses at full price. They did not. Then when they served the wine, it wasn't in a glass, it was in a little plastic cup. They said no glass was allowed on the patio, which doesn't make sense given several people were drinking bottled beer on the patio. I was really embarrassed given I was the local who recommended the restaurant and they gave this kind of service. We finished our drinks and had dinner elsewhere. I will never take out of town guests there again.

Google
Great dining experience ! Delicious food (Best chili I’ve ever had)! The staff was fabulous !! Thank you all!

Google
Ivan did wonderful getting us seated quickly and verifying allergies, assuring us we were safe! Food was incredible! Highly recommend the Mac n cheese with bacon and jalapeño. The fite pit outside was a nice touch of warmth.

Went here for a quick lunch bite and a drink. It was a Saturday afternoon but it was not quite that busy. The hostess and a few of the waitress were rude and were rushing through the services and pushing people in and out as fast as possible. The 2 bartenders were great and helpful. This place would rate higher if it were not for their ride wait staff. The BBQ shrimp we had were good and the drinks we ordered were as well, we chose not to stay longer because of the service we received. Maybe another time-point will have better service.

Perplexing G.

Google
Absolutely disgusting food, slow and horrible service. Asked for ranch and they gave me a look. Waitress seated is and disappeared when food arrived with no silverwear to eat it. Mac and cheese were cold, chicken strips dry and over fried. Ribs were clearly old and microwaved. Steak was overcooked and drenched in oil. Salad was pathetic with old tomatoes and old croutons on it with extremely sour balsamic. The only thing that tasted good was fries. It’s no wonder they weren’t busy on a Saturday. Stay away!

Yelp
the food was delicious, I had the Gunbarrel burger & it was massive, It was so juicy yet still fully cooked, the servers were so polite & the food came out very quickly. & the entire place had a very chill, inviting ambiance.

Yelp
The staff was very nice and we got a seat with our dog. The food ranges from OK to good. The sandwiches and hamburger were delicious. I really liked the house made barbecue chips that comes as a side for some of the entrées. The one dish that was OK was a lobster roll. Despite the description, the lobster did not look like lobster because the meat looked all shredded like crab meat. I was just curious when I saw it on the menu so I Took a chance but do not recommend ordering a lobster roll because for the price you can definitely get better lobster Roll somewhere else. And I did wish the staff was just a little bit more attentive when it came time for the check because we felt a bit forgotten while waiting for them to pick it up and process. The outdoor seating was nice and they do have options for seating indoors as well. Very rustic with all the wood decor.

Yelp
SERVICE: Service was good. Not too long of a wait. Servers were nice. Great location to our housing, especially if staying in the nearby housing that are walking distance. Menu had good variety of selections. FOOD: The shrimp wrapped in bacon and sliders were good. The sliders come in a trio of different burgers but the server allowed me to select two of something because the one flavor is disliked. WELL: Would return.

Yelp
We came in kinda late and sat at the bar. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We some wings and sliders - sliders were awesome. Nice alternative to a huge meal. It was a birthday dinner so we ordered desert - lemon tres leches. Light and creamy- if they make this again - order it. Never felt rushed, the food is pretty good, but the staff is amazing.
google avatar

Jill C.

Yelp
Ugh wish it had been better. Burgers looked impressive but tasted 'meh' and fries were tasteless. Service was friendly and fast, but there's got to be better spots nearby. A miss on this one.
google avatar

Cora M.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. We were immediately seated in the outdoor patio. Our server greeted us and took our drink order. The menu is nice sized with many options. There is a children's menu also. They offer all the normal sandwiches and burgers with their own unique spin. The barbque shrimp are amazing. Bacon wrapped large shrimp glazed with barbeque sauce and served on a bed of cole slaw. The Gunbarrel burger is massive and served to order and served with homemade potato chips. The kids chicken fingers were served with a generous portion of French fries. Garlic fries were a hit. Everything we tried was served hot and delicious. The outdoor seating afforded us entertaining people watching. Great evening.
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
We came here after the mountain and sat outside. I wish I had better things to say about the food but it honestly was a miss with every dish we got. The meat in the steak sandwich was chewy, the sliders were dry, the wings were cold on the inside and just smothered in sauce. We also asked for the wings and sliders first as apps, but got them significantly after the entrees. The only good experience here was our waiter who was very friendly and the fire pits outside
google avatar

Eduardo S.

Yelp
Food is average, the hostess' were international & seemed to us as we were interrupting their gossip time & the service was fine & could have been better; but, the local brewed beer we tried was actually pretty good.
google avatar

Ivonete K.

Yelp
The two stars are for the service which it was good but the food unfortunately was not. I ordered chicken wings which on the menu says "award winning chicken wings" but it is very far from the truth. All pieces were undercooked - the meat was pink" so I couldn't eat. My husband had the Steak Frites - he liked the steak but it was not enough meat at all. So, don't we are eating at this again. It is conveniently located at heavenly village and it seems very popular. The restaurant has an outdoor patio with fire pits and that makes for good ambience.

Yelp
Alaskan lobster rolls: 3 stars, stale fries. Nachos: 3 stars, crispy chips, but not much flavors. Chilis: 2 stars, bit bland, asked for no sour cream but put in there anyway. Roasted bone marrow: 4 stars, best thing of the evening but needs to cook longer. Service: dude was nice but seems stoned. Forgot cider and hot water. Busy Monday night and they were a bit short staffed. Food came out fast though. Price was reasonable.

Yelp
3.5 stars... We have been coming to Tahoe for awhile but never made it to this joint. Popped in on a Sunday night and was promptly seated as there were few patrons and plenty of space. Decent local beer selection so I selected a hazy. Meatloaf was on the menu and I'm always hesitant because I've got good meatloaf at home... sliced thick and crisped up on the flat top, covered with gravy and served with mashed potatoes as well as broccolini. Meatloaf was a bit over seared, but had a nice flavor inside. Potatoes and broccolini both had garlic and were good. My only complaint is the decor was a bit beat up and needing a refresh. Ambiance is industrial rustic, service was prompt and helpful, and prices were slightly above expectation. With so many places around I want commit to an encore, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't pop in!
google avatar

Matthew C.

Yelp
This place was pretty terrible to be honest. We unfortunately couldn't get a seat anywhere else, and they were the only place open without a wait - probably not a great sign. But we were hungry, and they were offering warm food. I got the chicken alfredo linguine. It was some of the driest, rubberiest chicken I've ever had. And the portion was so small for such a comically large plate.
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
Got a drink here post snowboarding and it was a blast. Lots of outdoor seating with fire pits and a cool bar. Their hot butt rum was very good!
google avatar

Micki M.

Yelp
Welp, here it goes! We were walking through Heavenly Village and stumbled here. We were immediately seated and helped ourselves to the carafe of room temp water. Hubs got the Gunbarrel burger and I had the fish tacos. My fish tacos were interesting. The fish was flaked, never had it like that. So being that it's flaked, it was more filler, ie, coleslaw and guacamole. Hubs burger was better than my tacos but still mediocre. Our server sucked. He just sat at the far end of the restaurant and played on his phone. Never came to check on us, ask if everything's alright, blah blah blah. Mediocre food and crappy service, ugh Our check came out to $45, I gave him a $6 tip, that was generous considering!?! When I heard on the news about the decline in the number of people eating out.....I can relate!
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
The first to places we tried to eat had empty tables and a hour wait. We walked a little more and found this place, well glad we did! This little place has that old school, walls full of decoration, good music vibe. We started with the buffalo wings and they were good. I had the full rack of ribs and my fiancé had the sirloin frites. The food has great flavor and we both shared our meals. Rare be both like each others choices. Now I have one issue and the reason for the 4/5 stars. The top rack of ribs I had was cold. Bottom, hot... I don't know. Our drinks never got empty. Would we return? Yes! Want to add, the staff were great!
google avatar

Josh M.

Yelp
I really liked their tacos. Everything else we had tasted very mediocre, but not offensive. Service pretty much wasn't really there even tho they were quite slow. Good place to stop by for a quick bite to eat before hitting the slopes though.

Andrea G.

Yelp
The food was way over salted. I ordered the salmon & everything was so salted. The Brussel sprouts were soooo salty. My husband ordered the lobster rolls & they literally came out on a dollar hotdog bun with less than half full of lobster. Wait staff did not check on us once after food was delivered. $130 later wow I'm shocked. The outside seating is fine but definitely is not up to the standard of a restaurant who charges so much.

Randy J.

Yelp
Seriously if I'm going to pay $9 a beer at your patio bar during the summer concert series please have fresh beer. The Coors Lite is flat and warm. Location is spot on. Update.... They ran out of Coors Lite and Modello at the outside bar it's 7pm... What the hell!
google avatar

Becca B.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday and we had the place to ourselves. Their drinks are good and strong and the bartender was so friendly! Would absolutely come back here again!
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Not the greatest dinner. Our party of 5 was the only table inside, although there were a few eating outside listening to the live music. The inside could use a bit of reno, things were looking pretty rundown. But, we decided to give it a go regardless. We ordered 5 different meals: pulled pork sand, chicken sand, caesar salad, potato skins, and meatloaf. Service was friendly and efficient...however our food was average to below average. My chicken sandwich was definitely the best received dish of the table. My daughter stated her pork was quite dry. My dad said his meatloaf was okay, but was disappointed in his portion of potatoes. The full Caesar was massive, but had only a tiny bit of dressing and almost no flavor. We asked for extra dressing which was provided, but the extra dish contained about a teaspoon of additional dressing. The potato skins were stated to be average. Overall while I left full on my sandwich, the rest of our party was disappointed with their meals.
google avatar

Trisha A.

Yelp
Small eatery, but decent food and service with a casual vibe in Heavenly Village. With 4 adults and a toddler, there was something for everyone. We ordered the: lemon garlic salmon, chicken sandwich, chicken wings with sauce on the side, clam chowder, mac n cheese, and nachos.
google avatar

Muneera M.

Yelp
Poor service! I had to go inside with my toddler three times to get service on our table. Ridiculous! And then a server I never saw not one time, was like sorry about the inconvenience. And popped over a $60 bill -

Alex Z.

Yelp
Beware of this place - double check your bill! We had lunch here on 7/12/2025 and were charged for items we didn't order. When we pointed it out, the waiter, Jimmy, apologized but still charged the extra amount to our credit card. After we told him again, he finally voided the original bill and recharged the correct total. I still left a tip. But a few days later, I saw we were charged $120 for the $50 meal, turned out that they had added the full total amount again as the tip! Completely unacceptable. Total scam. Dishonest and shady. AVOID this place at all costs!

Tina M.

Yelp
Checked out their yelp and almost made us not want to stop by.. but I'm glad we did. Sat on the patio and was greeted with iced waters right away, which was much needed. Service and food were great! Server kept checking up on us throughout. We did notice some people next to us were upset with the staff about some birds flying over..but with sitting outside.. not sure what they could've done.

Marie S.

Yelp
Do not eat here. We were charged more than double the amount of our bill. Luckily I caught it on my credit card and will file a dispute. They charged more than double so check your cards and keep a copy of the receipt.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
We had a delicious lunch here. We sat on the patio, which was a bit loud due to a live musician making it hard to chat, but the patio was nice. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and gave good recommendations. We enjoyed two flavors of the "award-winning" wings. We tried the buffalo flavor, which we were told was the award winner, and the sweet chili, which was the waiter's recommendation. I also enjoyed the Tahoe Tuna Tower. I asked for teriyaki sauce on the side, which was a necessary addition to the poke tower, since it only comes with two spicy cream sauces, but with the teriyaki added on it was delicious. Finally, we enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, which were deliciously crispy. Overall, a good causal place to enjoy lunch.

David D.

Yelp
I was really excited when I saw the menu outside and an outdoor smoker cooking up some meats. We got seats right after they opened and I ordered the pork belly tacos. I guess I was hoping for some small pcs of pork in the tacos but what I got was pork belly crumbs. Hardly any meat! Not sure if getting there when they opened caused an issue, but I definitely got cheated out of a good taco. I didn't want to send them back, on vacation and didn't want bad vibes. Workers seemed to be very chill, I mean REALLY chill, service was slow and were forgetting some items. Again, great menu, I think I got them too early in the morning. Still give it a try!

Yelp
My experience at this restaurant was appalling. I ordered a burger with no blue cheese, yet it arrived with blue cheese. When I pointed out the mistake, the waiter (Ashley) rudely insisted it was made correctly, and made us show her as well as another server, as if I don't know what blue cheese tastes like. We didn't eat the burger, and when the bill came, the burger was still on it. When we asked why, she argued with us again before finally taking it off--only to secretly add gratuity to the bill, even though the menu clearly states gratuity is for parties of 6 or more (we were 5 which only 4 people actually ordered food so if we want to be technical, 4 people). To make matters worse, she was yelling at us from across the restaurant for everyone to see, and no manager was available to address the situation. After looking at Yelp reviews, it's clear this behavior isn't an isolated incident and the restaurant seems to also have a pattern of adding gratuity without consent and even changing tips without authorization. The service from all staff was unacceptable and always seemed to be bothered. I took a photo of my signed receipt to dispute any unauthorized charges they might try to make or change. If you decide to go here, be alert of charges, take photos of receipts for your bank, BEWARE, and definitely avoid Ashley's section. But if it were me I would AVOID this place at all costs. *I have worked in the service industry for years and while the service was awful I never would not leave a tip. Even with this nasty behavior. Clearly they are afraid of people doing this (see other reviews) because they know their behavior is appalling that is why they add the gratuity automatically without consent despite party size*

Patricia P.

Yelp
The service was slow - it took 15 minutes to have our drink orders filled. It seemed restocking. The bar was a priority over serving customers. And the food was mediocre at least most of it. I do recommend the Ahi. The nachos had a squirt of something that was supposed to be cheese. Honestly nachos are pretty simple anyway as a part-time resident I will never go back and I will recommend people avoid this place like the plague.
google avatar

Jan R.

Yelp
Nothing to write home about. Lots of other places I'd try first. Service was ok. Atmosphere was good - laid back.
google avatar

Milan P.

Yelp
We were told we have to go inside and order and none of the waiters or waitresses were even busy. So I went inside and ordered and I didn't leave a tip because I'm on vacation and I would like a server to come and bring me food. We were told if we're only getting drinks and appetizers we have to go inside, but if we get dinner then they'll wait on us no thank you!! We were planning on dinner but do NOT want to give them extra $$. someone just lost out on like $20-$30 tip. Bad management. We were told we have to go and none of the wait getting drinks...bologna! Bye

Bob S.

Yelp
Good food, but $11 for a draft beer in a plastic cup?! Highest beer prices in town by far. Food was delivered quickly, but drinks were slow. Service was okay, but most employees are not overly friendly. $11 beer drafts . . .

Janet W.

Yelp
Maria the bartender was GREAT! Helped us make some fun drink choices and was attentive! Fantastic personality. We came back another night because of her!! Really made our time at the bar fun and memorable during our recent visit to South Lake Tahoe! We will definitely be back next year!!
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
I was expecting mediocre food and service because of some of the reviews. Two evenings in a row we ate here, 4 adults, 5 kids. Food was great and service was even better. We will be coming back next season.

Douglas D.

Yelp
Bland bad food not to mention way too overpriced, cherry on top they got 2 of our orders incorrect
google avatar

Jose A.

Yelp
Really unwelcoming. Walked in and asked for a menu. The attending host was bothered and handed me the menu with attitude. Seemed bothered that I even came in. I honestly have no clue what their deal was.
google avatar

Geralyn H.

Yelp
Drove over to South Lake Tahoe for Friday lunch with another place in mind. That restaurant was having their parking lot resealed and we didn't choose to valet park, so we drove over to the Heavenly Resort hoping for a choice of restaurants. Like other reviewers have said -- the smell of smoking meats really draws you in! Inside seating was crowded with a large party so we sat outside; it was cool unless in the sun and the host was very accommodating, allowing us to select a table in the sun. Service was efficient and friendly. Ivan was a rockstar with recommendations, checking on us just enough. He suggested the soup of the day, Clam Chowder. My husband loves clam chowder, but he's from New England and we have yet to find a clam chowder in Reno that measures up, so after a discussion we declined. At the end of the meal, Ivan offered to bring us a taste of the chowder. Said the kitchen wanted our honest opinion and he would also be able to recommend the chowder to other patrons with our review. Turns out the clam chowder tasted fantastic, the ideal thickness with plenty of clam flavor. As long as one closes their eyes and ignores the celery and carrot chunks, we admitted that the chowder was pretty authentic. Loved the gesture of offering us the tasting opportunity! For lunch I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich; very flavorful and smokey. Loved the addition of slaw. The BBQ chips could have had more flavor, but they were plenty crisp. Husband had the lamb burger (perfectly cooked), added bacon and upgraded to garlic fries. The fries were definitely worth it. A hazy IPA draft and a glass of rose completed a terrific lunch right under the Heavenly gondola!
google avatar

Malathy A.

Yelp
Funny story, we were in the gondola almost coming down when the smell of BBQ dragged us slowly to this place. Kind of like in the cartoons with the taste smoke carrying Tom around lol Food was delicious, for starters we got the Texas BBQ Shrimp, ooh it was wrapped in bacon with the delicious sauce, couldn't have been more perfect. I got the fish tacos, I'd taken pictures but somehow it didn't land up getting saved so I only have one of the half eaten steak. But overall, everything tasted very good. The brisket was just mouthwateringly juicy and tender. Melts in your mouth. I got the Strawberry Basil Moscow Mule drink which was perfect with everything! The ambiance was perfect too. I love the Heavenly Village restaurants and the atmosphere is just so lively! There is a bit of a wait for service, but it's worth the juicy brisket!
google avatar

Mikayla G.

Yelp
Saturday afternoon and we were able to get a table right away for lunch. Food was good and came out quickly. Service was average - nothing spectacular but no complaints. Great view right at the gondola.
google avatar

Steve T.

Yelp
Great service, great Ocean Organic Espresso Martini. Wife had an Irish Coffee that she loved. Fun environment and we will definitely be back!
google avatar

Ryan T.

Yelp
So disappointed and I rarely post this. Stopped in today around 4 to see what time they close and was told 9pm. We went out for the afternoon and popped in at 8:05pm for dinner and was waved off by the bartender saying they had shut the kitchen down. That is the last time we will try this place.
google avatar

Alyssa O.

Yelp
Ate here after a long hike to Eagles Lake. Walked around the plaza and decided to get drinks and some appetizers to hold us over. Not busy at all, seated right away, granted it was a Monday, but either way, service was nice and quick. Our waiters were attentive. We decided to sit outside bc the weather was nice and sunny, ambience around wasn't too crowded. Cocktails we ordered were the Georgia Peach and a Mule, which were super refreshing after a long hike!
google avatar

Ninad S.

Yelp
Welcoming restaurant with good food - beers, burgers, salads... Friendly accommodating staff all round - especially on ski break weekend!

Dee J.

Yelp
Front girl with the red hair was on a power trip. Honestly to have folks deviate from the area because we didnt buy food, but we purchase drinks and still dictate to leave the atea was surprising. We come here to have a good time with our family to be treated like this! This isn't tahoe that I know. Poor management or poor ownership to help management.

Sophia C.

Yelp
Went here on one of our few nights in Lake Tahoe with my friends. Terrible experience. Our server Matthew did not care to be hospitable at all. The two times we saw him we "want do you want?" and time to pay, just dropped the checks with no comments. The food was not good - Hawaiian pizza with maybe 4 pieces of pineapple and 3 pieces of ham. A lobster roll there is actually crab; I don't know if it's because we are from the east coast but absolutely did not expect. Sad that we spent one of our three Tahoe dinners here. Do better.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Nestled in the Heavenly village literally right under the Gondolas, we needed a quick bite bc everyone was about to get hangry. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy the nice summer weather. It was a busy environment and the servers were hustling as quick as possible. We had the pork belly tacos, shredded pork sandwich and flatbread. The kids had chicken tenders. It was all ok. Not bad but not great.
google avatar

Florence A.

Yelp
We were seated on a Sunday night around 8:30 pm after a 15 minute wait. They closed at 9 but we were not rushed out. The staff was totally nice. The food is just okay. I had a tough time even finding something I wanted to eat, but settled on a house salad with cheese that really hit the spot. At our table, there was also the Pulled Pork Sandwich (not the best) and Potato Skins (small but yummy).
google avatar

Shaun M.

Yelp
This place is a must visit everytime I come here! This establishment is right underneath the Gondola headed up the stairs and behind (or in front depending on where you coming from) the center peice fountain! They are usually busy more towards the evening, but most places in the vicinity are. They offer have live music from local acts that peform by the outdoor seatings which also has a couple fire pits for the chilly nights and a drink booth on site so you don't have to enter and re-enter the building itself. On this visit I took it upon myself to relish in the delicious fish tacos they have. Fun fact! This place is the place that put me on to fish tacos, prior to having what they have I've never been interested in the idea! Once again, the Fish tacos were just absolutely delicious, satisfying. Other meals I've had here are the Lemon Garlic Salmon which is a very delicous dish on its own as well.... Served with asparagus which is my favorite part. Now, the best part! my favorite part! THE DRINKS! Alright, so I've been here many times and this is my first official "Check-in" so I know that they have a rotating cocktail menu or just update it based on the mixologist on staff due to the fact I have a social media account dedicated to my drinking adventures and notice some of my older drinks have.... "disappeared" from the menu. But with the absence of the old comes the refreshing an daring NEW! My first drink of the afternoon was; Sour Apple Margarita! Ok, so you can call CAP on me if you want but as Bay Area, born and raised kid I feel like sour apple/green apple drinks are just our preference! So of course when I see my two favorite things made into one I'm like.... YES. This drink was fire! It was exactly what I'd imagined it to be! I wish I could have just order the drink 7 times but I had to be responible as I was in company of my dog who they were very friendly towards and even offered water. The next drink I had was; The Writers Daquiri, I think this drink leans towards the type of drink I view as my mortal enemy... I thought the drink was going to be something different but yea.... it was a soothing and strong mixed drink resembling what I can only think of as a martini.... hence, my MORTAL ENEMY! This establishment will always find my butt in a seat when I'm in town so I highly recommend it

Yelp
Had an awful experience at this establishment. We had 4 adults and 6 kids. We were seated at split tables. The problem started when two of the kids meals didn't arrive. I had to track down the waiter since a runner delivered the food. He never came back to check on us once. 15 minutes later their food arrived, again by a runner. Still no check on us by the waiter. At the end of the meal the mandatory gratuity was added because of the size of the party. We requested the bill be split into two since we were at different tables and wanted the included gratuity removed. When the split bills came back they still had gratuity included. A complaint to the waiter himself was futile so we requested to speak to the manager. At first he would not honor the request to remove the gratuity. After refusing to pay it was finally removed. Overall, the staff there was less than accommodating and the food was not worth the price. I'm usually a 15-20% tipper and have only been reluctant to tip a handful of times in my life. Needless to say we won't be returning.
