Visited Gunpowder and absolutely loved the experience! 🌿✨ The ambience is extremely soothing, surrounded by greenery and a calm, relaxed vibe that makes you want to sit and unwind for hours. It feels peaceful, refreshing, and beautifully designed. Just like the ambience, the food is equally amazing – super tasty and full of authentic flavours. They serve authentic Goan and South Indian cuisine, and every dish feels rich and traditional. Their cocktails are a must-try 🍸 – perfectly crafted and refreshing! Highly recommend trying the Chicken Korri Sukka – packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. Also, the chicken curry with Malabar paratha is one of their best-known combinations and totally worth it. One tip: do book your table in advance, as there can be a rush at times. Overall, a beautiful place with great food and vibes. Definitely visiting again! 💛

This place leans heavily toward non-vegetarian dishes, with comparatively fewer vegetarian options. Initially, I wasn’t sure what to expect given the limited veg selection. However, once the food arrived, every doubt disappeared. The flavors were exceptional — authentic, well-balanced, and deeply satisfying. The spices were layered perfectly without overpowering the palate, and the dishes were served fresh and hot. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared, with clear attention to detail in taste and texture

Revisited Gunpowder after ages and it just reminded me why I missed it so much. Ghee rice with Avial, followed by jaggery Crème Brûlée made of coconut custard were the star of the show, the authentic flavors transporting me straight to the heart of South India. The ambiance coupled with an amazing service with care and attention to detail was perfect for a relaxed evening. If you're in Goa and craving for some top-notch South Indian cuisine, Gunpowder is a must-visit. Can't wait to go back!

Mayur was excellent at helping to pick good choices. Loved the place, the ambience and the yum food. Pet friendly as well. They have complimentary chicken for our shihtzu , which she gobbled ! Had an amazing experience at Gunpowder Goa! The place has such an easygoing, feel-good vibe that you settle right in. The food was the real highlight—every dish we tried was absolutely spot-on. The Idukki pork with porota was unbelievable: tender, flavour-packed, and perfectly balanced. The Meen Molee with appam was comfort in a bowl—creamy, fragrant, and cooked just right. The Royala Pulusu was another standout, full of bold flavours that hit all the right notes. And I have to mention the Tamarind Chilly Margarita—fresh, tangy, a little spicy, and totally addictive. Easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had in Goa.Tried their various beer samples it was also good. The staff and the Chef Jyothish were friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt effortless in the best way. If you want great food, chill ambience, and solid drinks, Gunpowder Goa is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back! 🌿✨🍽️🍹

I had an amazing dining experience at Gunpowder Goa yesterday! From the moment we sat down, the service was on point. Arpan, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and just genuinely great at what he does. And a special shout-out to Chef Jyotish, who personally came over to check if we were enjoying our meal. That extra touch made the experience feel so special. We ordered the fish curry, avial, chorizo, appams, and filter coffee — every single dish was bursting with flavour. The food was super yummy, comforting, and totally hit the spot. Honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in Goa. Highly recommend this place for great food, great service, and a really lovely vibe. Can't wait to come back!
