Beautiful lake with backcountry camping spots that must be reserved. This lake is pretty cold, I could only stay in for a few minutes when it was 75* outside in August.
I posted a picture of a trail sign with the distances from the lake.
The lake has very little rocky beach area. It can only accommodate about 12 people.
There were some flys that bite and mosquitoes that were a bit annoying.
There are 2 enclosed toilets in the camp area and a pole to hang bear bags.

A beautiful lake in the Lewis Range, just below Gunsight Mountain. Framed by tall mountains on three sides, this lake is a great destination for a day hike or a great stop on the way across Gunsight Pass.
