Gunstock Ranch

My partner and I went on the 2-hour private ride with Sunset Dinner. Our guide, Devin, was amazing. Super friendly, knowledgable, and local to the area. The dinner location had an amazing view overlooking the valley, the ocean and Laie Point. Horses were extremely well behaved and gave us no trouble. Thank you Mogli and Bud! Will be returning for more rides. Thank you so much, Devin!!

Devin was an amazing guide! The horses (Remy and Raider) were the best boys! We are both longtime experienced riders and we did the advanced private ride and had a blast galloping through the beautiful mountains. It’s rare to find a trail ride that is fun for experienced riders and this was a great time.

We had SUCH a great time on our trail ride at Gunstock Ranch. My husband and I did the sunset ride which was perfect! Amazing views and cooling breeze. I rode Scooby and my husband rode Daisy, the sweetest horses. They were so well trained that they basically required no handling on our part. So this would be great for anyone who has never ridden, or barely ridden horses before. All of our guides were super friendly and patient. Amanda was super knowledgeable about the ranch and the horses as well. I would totally recommend this to anyone!!

Family and I came to do a horse ride. The views are spectacular and it was a good time to spend on this side of the island. We all had a great time and look forward to coming back. The petting zoo was a bonus with the surprise of the tortoise. We learned a lot about the ranch with the guides ability to answer our questions.

I had a private advanced ride at Gunstock Ranch and it was absolutely amazing! My guide Lon put so much effort into making the tour unforgettable. We galloped through the forest and enjoyed a stunning view of the ocean. I rode Bud, a very well-cared-for and reliable horse. You can immediately tell how well the horses are treated here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true horseback riding adventure in Hawaii!

We went on a UTV ride thru the countryside and saw some amazing look outs. Stopped and had a quiet picnic lunch up on the mountain, drove thru pastures with grazing cows that came up to us and ate food from hands. Our guides were very knowledgeable and the ranch teaching us about all the native trees and plants on Oahu Island. Highly recommend Gunstock Ranch. Thank you Beth and Raegan for a great time!!

We had an amazing UTV tour and I can’t recommend it enough! Our tour guide was Summer and she was amazing as she took us through some amazing views and even allowed us to try some of the fruit on the land. She also had great knowledge of the land and was super nice to talk with. We got to have a private picnic in this one area with the best view of the ocean and a swing for us to ride on with a nice sandwich lunch. I grew up off-roading and I thought it was such a fun experience as Summer was an amazing driver. I cannot recommend this experience enough, this was honestly my favorite part of our trip to Oahu!:)

My husband and I had a blast doing the advanced ride with Devin as our guide. Very knowledgeable and fun, she is very passionate about being a wrangler and it shows. I wasn't sure how "advanced" one needed to be to do one of these rides (I have extensive experience, but my husband, not so much). But my husband did great and was able to trot and canter throughout the ride and Devin was great at checking in and making sure we were having a good time. For reference my husband has riden several times before and has trotted and centered prior to this, but it had been a few years.
