Gus & Ruby Letterpress

My friend and I have been wanting to check out Gus & Ruby Letterpress for a while. We popped in today and what am absolute gem of a store. The window display is 10/10 and so many cute stationary things, tea towels, stickers, pens, notecards, wrapping paper. We will be excited to check it out in other seasons to see all thr fun goodies. Shoutout to Jessie who was super helpful and personable! Can't wait to come back!

Hands down the cutest stationery in Portland! I want to give the team at Gus & Ruby a massive shoutout for their incredible customer service. I was trying to order an item online, and I emailed them asking if I could pick-up in store so I wouldn't have to pay for a shipping fee. They emailed me back immediately and set up the in-store option for me. How freaking sweet?! Whenever I am in the area, I stop by so I can check out all their stuff. My favorite is the holiday cards, which they often change for all of the holidays.

This boutique is a hidden gem! It offers a unique selection of beautifully curated stationery, from elegant notebooks and handcrafted cards to fun statement stickers, and thoughtful gifts. The staff is friendly and helpful, making shopping here a wonderful experience. Perfect for finding special items you won’t see anywhere else. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is adorable! I could walk around this quaint shop all afternoon looking at paper or paper artist inspired treasures.

Gus and Ruby is the best! Every time I gift someone something from there, they're always THRILLED! Not to mention, it's guaranteed a card given from G & R will yield great results--sometimes, it's a bigger hit than the present itself! They carry a great variety of brands, from bigger ones like Rifle, to smaller woman-owned I would have never heard of otherwise. Everyone who works there is so friendly and knowledgeable. If you're looking for a great place to stock up on cards or just get a fun present for anyone in your life (including yourself!!) this is the place!!

Cute little shop with a huge selection of cards, plus adorable gifts. The prices are about average, but the cards are above average! For some, the customer service might leave a little bit to be desired if you like being fawned over; we were greeted politely but then basically ignored unless we had a question, which is exactly how I want to shop! The selection of gifts is super cute and stylish, you could find something here for almost any woman in your life.

Such a cute shop down this street! I bought so many unique cards and stickers. You could spend a lot of time here looking through the cards carefully. Many other gifts here. :)

An absolutely gorgeous letterpress, they have cards for nearly every occasion you can think of. In addition, you'll find some really cute knick-knacks, pens, and the occasional candle. Can't recommend enough.

Bottom Line: Beautiful store selling cards, stationary and gifts. I walked past Gus & Ruby Letterpress in the evening and after seeing the beautiful window displays I knew I had to come back and shop the next day and I did. Upon entering the store I was warmly greeted and I enjoyed looking at unique cards, Maine inspired gifts, puzzles, tote bags, luggage tags, beach towels, pretty mugs and such. They also had lots of gorgeous specialty wrapping papers and various gifty items. They carry a good bit from Rifle Paper Company which has beautiful prints on makeup bags, journals and such. I really enjoyed looking around at Gus & Ruby and I've since learned that they also have a location in Boston, MA and Portsmouth, NH.
