I went to a famous pizza place to eat but ended up discovering an even better spot! You’ll need to dine at an outdoor table in the square in front of a cathedral. The place is not very big, so you might have to wait for a while. Although the staff seemed a bit confused with the waiting list, they made up for it with sufficient apologies and friendly service, which made the experience pleasant. Most importantly, every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. To be honest, I don’t usually eat lasagna in Korea because it’s not very good there. But I was curious about how it would taste in Italy, so I decided to try it—and it was amazing! (It’s a bit sad that I won’t be eating it when I go back to Korea because it won’t taste the same.) The staff’s English was excellent, and the serving time was just right. However, since it’s an outdoor table, it can get a bit chilly once the sun goes down. If you cross just one bridge, you’ll find many other great places with delicious food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend exploring a lot if you visit!

If you’re looking for good food, good vibes, and great customer service- this is the place! After a full day of walking all over Florence, we were craving for a good place to eat with cozy vibes. We ordered delicious plates of spaghetti and meatballs for the hubby , + carbonara for myself paired with a great glass of wine! Ended the meal with 2 espressos and as we walked out we were given 2 limoncellos before we hit the road again with more walking! Thank you so much Gustapanino and staff for the memorable and great experience!!!

I've been here more times than I count now. Everything about this restaurant is just impeccable. Gustapanino has the best food and service I've experienced during my time here in Firenze. Great prices and surprisingly large portions.

6 years ago I came here and ate an amazing pasta. I still remembered it up until today so came back and had another amazing pasta. It was so so fun, waiters and boss were so fun and good! Had an amazing time, definitely come here to complete your Florence experience!

Wonderful service at this restaurant. Very friendly to our group which included students on the study abroad program and accommodating for GF need as well. We sat outside in January and they brought us an extra heater - so kind as we didn’t even ask. They shared knowledge of the Italian culture and delivered great food. Excited to came back to this great hospitality again!

Gustapanino impresses with its warm ambiance and genuinely friendly service—a true standout in tourist-heavy areas. Despite arriving without a reservation, we were seated promptly, benefiting from the serene winter atmosphere. Highlights: Bruschetta (5/5): Simply outstanding—the best we’ve had in Italy, with perfect crispness and vibrant flavors. Gnocchi with Tomato Sauce (4/5): A comforting, well-executed classic. Panna Cotta (4/5): Smooth and indulgent, though the store-bought topping was a slight letdown. Homemade Meatballs (3/5): Generous in portion but lacked boldness in flavor. With fair pricing comparable to nearby establishments, Gustapanino is a plausible choice for a relaxed, satisfying meal.

Sensational restaurant with amazing food, service and decor, set on a beautiful square across the river. Our tour guide recommended crossing the river for a taste of the “real” Florence/ what all of Florence used to be. And this restaurant was recommended. Wow, it’s so beautiful both inside and outside where you have a view of the square and stunning church facade. Service was so friendly and welcoming, and English was spoken. Very reasonably priced food and drinks, and great value for money considering the location. House lasagne and the cacio e pepe pasta were excellent, and the negroni was sublime. We would absolutely return here next time. Great experience and great recommendation.
