GUT EDERMANN

This is my second time staying there and my first visit was in July. Facilities and services are very good at this hotel. I like that beds are comfortable and a lot of pillows provided. Amenities in my second stay is much less than first stay for example no more shower cap. Not sure it was the room type or just house keeping got stingy. Other facilities such as coffee machine, mini bar, etc. are there. ||They have big car parking and it is free. I love their garden made in a bit chaotic style. They have multiple sauna and spas with sauna master making in fusion. My husband loves them. Also there are natural pool and indoor pool. Be prepared to see a lot naked people in Saunas and natural pool. Indoor pool has a sign not to swim naked but I encounter an old lady totally naked in the indoor pool recently. ||Breakfast is very good with variety of choice including warm food like fresh omelette and bacon. A lot of fruits and usual cold cuts are there too. ||Food from restaurant is very good and waiters are exceptionally polite. You can hear German words sehr gerne repeatedly and I found that charming. ||They have multiple massages and facial packages. 80 minutes facial and back massage combination is sensational. It costs 105€ but worth it.

Amazing wellness weekend getaway. The surroundings are idillic, especially with snow, the rooms are spacious and fit great with the ambient. Breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety of super tasty foods, with something for everyone around. The staff are always friendly and helpful. On top of all of this there is a lovely swimming pool and an amazing spa area with multiple saunas and relaxation areas. Special thanks and kudos should go out to Guido who made the sauna experience even more memorable by bringing good vibes, fitting music and amazing scents every two hours! Definitely something I will remember for a long time!

It is a beautiful hotel with full facilities surrounded by nature. The service was exceptional. The lady at the reception was very pleasant. We were offered variety of choices for welcome drinks such as sparkling wine or juice or coffee. Our Zirben room was beautiful, modern and spacious. Amenities included Nesespresso machine and other bathroom accessories. We also found welcome chocolates in the mini fridge. There were two pools. Natural pool and indoor pool. Indoor pool has warmer water and very pleasant. Outdoor pool was with natural water and decorated with tropical lotus. There were many different sauna rooms and salt room too. I love sitting outdoor in the sauna area facing big field of green grasses and mountains. We went for a la cart dinner at the hotel and it was excellent. Delicious food with complimentary starters and very decent waiters. Eating area is in the beautiful natural looking garden. Breakfast was excellent too with Dinzler coffee, different types of eggs, selection of cheese and cold cuts, warm sausages and many more including fresh fruits like watermelon and cherries. I am a gold member of Hilton honor but have to say this hotel service is even better. It is well located for those driving as not too far to drive to main attractions like Chiemsee, Salzburg, even to Königssee but not so convenient for those prefer public transport. Room prices are a bit on the higher side too. Check out time is 11 am but you can still use sauna and pool after checkout and till 10 pm by paying 10€ per person only. We will definitely go back there for longer stay.

Some of the feminine waiters were not so friendly, especially because our international colleagues, as they didn't like the food, and were asking for special wishes. Also for the vegetarians, there are not so many offers, maybe the menu should be rethink. The salat offers was also not so big, we wanted to have a light lunch during the summer time and there were not so many Salats in the menu. Besides that the hotel is very nice, the spa area and the food is nice. One note more, It is situated in an idyllic part of Bavaria, so a little bit out of the town, therefore you should organize in advance the taxi service, to pick you up from the train station and bring to the hotel. There are just a few taxi driver in Teisendorf. But you can ask by the hotel, they are very friendly and can organize for you the transfer.

Wow - what a view to the mountains from the balcony!||The Spa is great with different saunas, pool, steam bath, relaxing areas and they even have a restaurant where you can sit with your bathrobe on. ||The food is fantastic, staff very friendly, nice terrace at the restaurant and even beauty they have. For a relaxing holiday simply great and you can eat all day long, there are no closing hours of the kitchen.

Very nice and modern hotel in a quiet area close to the Austrian boarder and Salzburg. The Spa has several different Sauna types and is open till 22:00, which is extremely convenient for a business trip as well.||Also the indoor and outdoor pool is very nice and the water temperature not too cold!

The room was lovely with a big terrace, lovely service, amazing food and a wonderful spa-area. The area is good for walking or biking. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of options. The restaurant is heavenly!

1,000,000/5 stars So if you read my last review, you will know that this is a very magical place. This place known to my NOW son-in-law played a large role in the love story with my daughter and HERE they were married over the weekend. The guests at this small wedding of 40 represented 16 (!) different countries at last count. I believe ALL of the guests were accommodated at this hotel the night of the wedding. I had booked single rooms for myself and my son but that is NOT what we got. My room had a French Country/Provincial theme going and was located on a corner with a beautiful private balcony including excellent views of the sunrise! My son's room was also not a single. It had a cow theme going and it was the perfect bachelor pad for a young man. We stayed three glorious nights here. I would have to say this hotel is one of my favorite places on earth! I have yet to visit the sauna and spa areas. Next time for sure! I meant to go to the gym too.. I did manage to walk twice to the little village of Teisendorf. It is a beautiful walk and I highly recommend it! I don't have a vocabulary large enough to do justice to describe the food. Like I told my family, I am a picky eater at home.. there are many things I don't like/won't touch but here, I try everything and so far everything has been amazing! The staff goes above and beyond to take care of every need. Max A was the person who coordinated the wedding (event) and he himself is perfection! It seemed like he knew us each personally (not sure if he is responsible for the rooms/but everyone I talked to loved their rooms!!!!) Christiane (front desk) is a stand out employee.. very genuine, charming, helpful! My son had his first massage ever in the spa and he loved it of course. He was made to feel comfortable. Thank you to everyone at Gut Edermann, I will never forget this weekend! Hope To see you again very soon!!
