It is a nice place to stay, but the offering has seen a decrease in value for money.
First of all, the hotel is nice no question. The restaurant is good, the bar very modern and it offers a great variety of drinks. And the cows are super cute to watch.
But there are quite some aspects they should work on which already have been raised by Relaxguide in parts. For one, the staff is not always warm and welcoming, sometimes the exact opposite of it - cold and unengaged. That is a big minus for a wellness hideaway in the mountains.
Then there is the thing that they only serve raw milk for breakfast and potentially also in the coffee machines. This "trend" is super dangerous especially for pregnant women and other people. And yes, having normal milk besides raw milk and oat milk would be something one could expect from such an expensive hotel. The breakfast overall is okay, but feels a bit like they do not care too much. Hard to explain, but I have seen breakfast offerings with more creativity and selection. The afternoon meals are nice but nothing I personally would pay for and the dinner menu is changing but not too exciting. Quality wise they're great, just not too special.
Then there is the thing with the electric chargers for BEV. They have some from Salzburg AG, but not with the Salzburg AG standard pricing. They are way more expensive. In top normal cars kept blocking them and nobody seemed to care.
Lastly, the spa after checkout rules have changed so that they charge for when you want to stay longer than 2pm. At the time of our booking this was not yet the case and showed us that they seem to try to squeeze out every Euro possible. They also wanted to charge us 5€ per bath robe for the spa after checkout because we left ours in our room. Sorry but then tell your guests to bring them with them when checking out. The spa overall I s nice, the gym well equipped but the yoga room was empty all the time, so kind of wasted space here. Maybe add some other classes so that this huge room is not dark all day?
And one last remark: people going to such places should demonstrate a minimum amount of social behaviour, we experienced otherwise when one older woman kept opening all windows in the relaxing room while it was freezing outside. Go outside if you want to freeze and don't bother everyone else in the room. When asking for help at the reception, the team demonstrated bad customer service once again as they did not see any need to intervene.
What started well, ended disappointing.
