Gut Sonnberghof - Naturhotel

Our stay at the Riedlsberger family hotel in the heart of the High Tauern was truly unforgettable! The stunning natural surroundings created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and inspiring getaway. The rooms were beautifully designed with smart, thoughtful touches that made them both stylish and comfortable. The entire staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help – their genuine smiles made us feel right at home. The wellness area was nothing short of fantastic – a peaceful sanctuary perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. And the cuisine? Absolutely outstanding! Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, made with fresh, local ingredients and full of flavor. Every meal was a delight. Altogether, it was a perfect blend of hospitality, design, nature, and top-notch gastronomy. Thank you for an exceptional experience – we can’t wait to return!

My wife and I have stayed here twice and the hotel keeps improving. Location is calm, with great views to the mountains and the service is outstanding - even if most staff have to put effort into speaking English :) The wellness is excellent, with interesting programs to enhance the relaxation. Highly recommended - we will go again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Gut Sonnberghof. The food was really delicious and the beef was one of my favourite meals in Austria! The staff were very attentive and friendly. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough! 10/10!

It is a great location, starting from the food, services, rest, location, very kind staff and a very good chef. The food is BIO and everything is made with love. Very nice rooms and cleanliness at a high level. The beds are very comfortable and you have everything you need in the room. An extraordinary view from the room and a very cozy balcony.I strongly recommend this location. It is like a little paradise. It is a quiet location, we felt very good and we will come back with great love. Thanks for everything to the whole team!

We are guests for the past 15 years. We love the hotel - perfect family atmosphere - service and cuisine extraordinary. Great spa with several saunas, natural swimming pond and in/outdoor pool. Location fantastic in the middle of the mountains and off the main tourist crowds. Perfect for relaxing holidays.

Stayed there a bit ago the pool and outdoor sauna was beautiful you are able to overlook the mountains.The spa area and relax area are quite nice with sunbed hand hanging beds.The food was good breakfast or dinner, although we went out couple of times.The renovated rooms in the main building are stunning with amazing views and a sun chair out on the balcony.We stayed during winter time and the balcony above the and beside the Pool offer equal stunning views.Would stay here again👍

I highly recommend this hotel! Starting from the accommodation, the food, the Spa, the atmosphere, everything is superlative; the food is very tasty, cooked in a healthy way and most importantly it is varied and home growned.The rooms are very clean, spacious and special.The atmosphere in this hotel is very pleasant, it gives you the feeling that you feel like home.Very kind staff,we felt great and we would love to come back!
