Haven't been to Guy's for a few years, but I'll be back with the other half in a few weeks if not sooner. I had a good friend (originally from Glasgow) visiting from California and I was looking for somewhere really top notch to take him. And I'm so glad I chose Guy's. The food was fantastic. I had rack of lamb wth chips, he had fillet steak with mash. We shared sides of asparagus and spinach. Every aspect was perfect. I can't state how good. The desserts were really good too. The food was accompanied by great service from all the staff and a live jazz duo. It's amazing we got a table last minute on a Friday night when other lesser restaurants are full. (Maybe I shouldn't leave this review in case it gets too popular 🤔😉😁) Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back soon.

Really nice restaurant serving very very good food. I wish I had more time to enjoy it properly when I went. It's totally on the list of places to go back to!

The place has changed its name to The Lacarno, although still the same great menu with an additional Glasgow Tapas Menu. They will make other subtle changes in time.

Food was really good, BUT very dissapointed with the price of Drinks, £9.80 for a Large White Wine & £5.15 for a Pint of St Mungo's, probably look elsewhere next time....

Expected step higher level service based on price tag. Live music was a nice touch

A lovely experience. My wife and I went for a set menu purchased for us as a Christmas present. All courses were delicious, servings weren't too big, which I like. The starter of duck egg with black pudding and crumpet was a little on the dry side as was the chocolate tart with toffee ice cream but still tasty none the less. Would have been five stars if not for that. Staff were very accommodating & friendly. I would love to go back.

Fantastic food! Very accommodating staff. I was surprised with a birthday dinner to the table decorated before our arrival and being serenaded with a birthday song by the really friendly staff.. somewhat embarrassing but very tastefully done not over top just nice. Will definitely be back to try the rest of menu!

Excellent meal and surroundings. Lovely to have proper table cloths. The fixed price menu was very good value with decent sized portions. Drink prices rather on the high side. Watch out for the service charge of 12% on tables of more than 8.
