In fairness, this B&B did not live up to our expectations. The location in the heart of Conwy is next to one. However getting to it is really hard. We ended up parking a bit away and only bringing what we thought we needed for the next 24-36 hours. Our room, the Elizabeth, was on the top floor of Chapel House. It was hot out and essentially this is an attic room. So it was very warm. Plus the stairs to it were narrow and steep. Literally you had to watch your head and shoulders to make sure you didn't bang them into rafters that held the roof up. The room itself had too much nonfunctional furniture in it, which just added to the complexity of being in it.||The breakfasts were good and the service was quite nice. We had one dinner in the Hidden Chapel restaurant, which was also quite good.||In truth, we were anxious to leave when our three night stay was concluded. We had high hopes based on the descriptions on the web site. Unfortunately our hopes were dashed almost from the moment we arrived. Too bad.

We have just enjoyed 2 nights here in the Elizabeth room. It was such a pretty room, with some lovely extra touches including, bottles of water, bed time chocolates, bathroom toiletries. The location is excellent for exploring the town, though quiet enough to enjoy a good nights sleep and easy to get around. Parking was a 5 minute walk and you could pay on your phone instead of rushing back to the car in the morning to renew. Breakfast was excellent and served between 8am and 9am and in the most amazing setting. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and knowledgeable.

This was for my Grandsons 30th birthday. Some of the family stayed in their quaint two bed cottage, just around the corner, however I stayed here in the b'n'b. It's an absolute gem of a place. The rooms have everything you need, a fully stocked tea tray, fan, hairdryer, fridge and ample space for our clothes and accessories. It was spotlessly clean. We were made welcome from arriving to the point of leaving. The restaurant is in the chapel. What a wonderful setting to eat your breakfast ( we had an evening meal, I will review that separately, but it was just as lovely).|I have to mention the outside patio area. we were lucky enough to have glorious weather, so spent a lot of time out there during the days.|Lastly we have to say thank you to the fabulous staff and also to Monica and Colin, who made our family gathering a beautiful experience.

Stayed for one night in a loft room in the Hidden Chapel. An absolute delight! The room was very comfortable with generous coffee/tea/sugar etc. Breakfast was great in a fabulous setting - eating in the chapel id a fantastic experience. We were lucky to have a table for dinner of the night of our stay too and enjoyed both the food and entertainment provided by Neil, the saxophonist. The staff were extremely helpful - thanks so much for changing the niught of our stay so we could take advantage of better weather. Overall, an amazing experience in a wonderful setting.

We had a phenomenal short stay here, in thr beautiful centre of Conwy. Staff were polite and gracious at all times, and the room was well laid out for a smaller space, and beautiful to look at. Thr location was ideal for exploration and dining, and cheap overnight parking was around a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was also delicious, and we were filled for our whole day. We will gladly stay here again on our next trip to North Wales.

We only had a week in Conwy this year, but we were happy to spend it at Gwynfryn B&B as usual. Everything was just as we'd come to expect over the past 13 years and we'll be returning for another stay in 2026. The staff are all friendly, breakfast is fantastic with a great selection and the atmosphere is wonderful. I can't see us ever staying anywhere else when we go to Conwy, it just wouldn't feel right.

Blown away by our stay! The room was stunning and had so much character. Had everything we needed and more for our stay! Beautiful views and the restaurant area was amazing, and the breakfast was lovely. Staff also excellent and so helpful! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We found Conwy and Gwynfryn B&B on Google Map, and decided to give it a try. We did not get disappointed. What a beautiful place. Gwynfryn B$B did meet all our expectations and some more. Great service, great food and is located perfectly in the middle of Conwy. We stayed 2 nights in the loft room and the only disappointment was that we could not stay longer. Hope we get can come back some day.

Yelp
My friend and I stayed here in August 2022 and loved it! We chose the Gwynfryn Guest House because of its central location inside the city walls, good reviews, an amazing chapel breakfast area, and overall affordability.... I'm happy to say we had no regrets! A couple things I'd highlight: -We met one of the owners (Colin, I believe) and he was super welcoming and suggested a great local restaurant around the corner called Watsons Bistro. -The rooms are very tasteful and the beds are comfortable. -The breakfast was tasty and the service was great. -The chapel is really very beautiful/special/fantastic/all the adjectives. -We parked right outside the walls for a cheap price. It was only a few minutes walk. No big deal. Conwy and Snowdonia were our favorite places to visit on our Wales trip, and the Gwynfryn Guest House definitely contributed to that! We would happily go back.

Yelp
What a solid B & B located in the super-charming walled town of Conwy, North Wales! The main house contains rooms and a sitting area and what used to be the breakfast room. As of last Sunday 5/20/2017~ish, the new kitchen and breakfast room has been relocated to the old church chapel - it's awesome! So, the room I stayed in was in the "vestry" and was superb! All brand new, clean and cozy - the room was perfect! The ensuite bathroom was very nice (only needed some hand soap.) During my recent trip, I stayed twice, but a week apart...kinda coming and going. Both visits were stellar. Colin was extremely cool and accommodating (only met Monica briefly - she was quite friendly). I'm not sure how soon I'll be back, but I will only stay at Gwynfryn during my next visit to Conwy - it was PERFECT! 5 stars...so SOLID!

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights. Great B&B!! Very affordable for what you get - a comfy, clean room, great breakfast, historic building, and lovely staff. We made our reservations last minute so got a small room with twin beds but it was perfectly laid out with an amazing shower. Stay here! You won't regret it.

Yelp
Beautiful and inviting B&B! Monica and Collin are fine hosts. Rooms are as nice and tidy as any hotel. Privacy of your room as much as you care for and a lovely lounge where you can meet with others. Collin makes a great breakfast and Monica's bubbly personality makes you feel as if you are staying with old friends!
