Great location, twin room newly decorated and impeccably clean with very comfortable beds and a nice shower room. However, the size of the room was too small for a twin and had too much furniture, leaving precious little free space. The fridge hadn't been turned on and the television signal wasn't too stable. The breakfast was very nice and most of the staff were attentive and polite. Would I use it again or recommend it? Probably not, as l don't believe that the accommodation and service delivery match the price.

Just returned from a 2 night break here in a standard room. The room was in the vestry and quite small. Although it did have three windows these were quite high up and you couldnt see out of them, personally I found this a little claustrophobic. However it was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was lovely and modern. Breakfast was excellent and served in the old chapel. They do open the chapel as a restaurant from Thursday-Sunday and whilst we didn’t eat there we did call in for a drink and sat upstairs! Absolutely beautiful place and so atmospheric! Anyone not calling in is missing out. Host was really nice and on arrival met us at the door, took our luggage and told us where to park! (Free parking Monday- Friday). We’d definitely recommend

Me and my partner stayed for one night. We stayed in the Elizabeth room. |It was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was the best we've ever had in a hotel / b&b. The hallway to our room is decorative and authentic. |Well stocked tea and coffee tray with biscuits, hot chocolate, water and a chocolate each. |Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere in the chapel was amazing. |It was ideally located in the centre of Conwy. We didn't experience any noise through the night and slept well as the bed was comfortable. |Owners were nice, polite and attentive. |Would definitely visit again!

Right in centre of Conwy. Lovely rooms and the breakfast was literally nice. The hidden chapel bar is great for a relaxing drink with a pianist playing from 6-9. They serve evening meals but we didn't stay for that. No parking though,we used the long stay about a 5-6min walk from the B&B

Great location, fabulous host (thank you Colin), personable staff, amazing breakfast, comfortable and well stocked rooms (bottled water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits) and a unique experience eating in the Hidden Chapel made for a memorable and satisfying stay at Gwynfryn Bed & Breakfast. Highly recommend staying here when in Conwy.

We had a phenomenal short stay here, in thr beautiful centre of Conwy. Staff were polite and gracious at all times, and the room was well laid out for a smaller space, and beautiful to look at. Thr location was ideal for exploration and dining, and cheap overnight parking was around a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast was also delicious, and we were filled for our whole day. We will gladly stay here again on our next trip to North Wales.

In fairness, this B&B did not live up to our expectations. The location in the heart of Conwy is next to one. However getting to it is really hard. We ended up parking a bit away and only bringing what we thought we needed for the next 24-36 hours. Our room, the Elizabeth, was on the top floor of Chapel House. It was hot out and essentially this is an attic room. So it was very warm. Plus the stairs to it were narrow and steep. Literally you had to watch your head and shoulders to make sure you didn't bang them into rafters that held the roof up. The room itself had too much nonfunctional furniture in it, which just added to the complexity of being in it.||The breakfasts were good and the service was quite nice. We had one dinner in the Hidden Chapel restaurant, which was also quite good.||In truth, we were anxious to leave when our three night stay was concluded. We had high hopes based on the descriptions on the web site. Unfortunately our hopes were dashed almost from the moment we arrived. Too bad.

We have just enjoyed 2 nights here in the Elizabeth room. It was such a pretty room, with some lovely extra touches including, bottles of water, bed time chocolates, bathroom toiletries. The location is excellent for exploring the town, though quiet enough to enjoy a good nights sleep and easy to get around. Parking was a 5 minute walk and you could pay on your phone instead of rushing back to the car in the morning to renew. Breakfast was excellent and served between 8am and 9am and in the most amazing setting. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and knowledgeable.

Yelp
My friend and I stayed here in August 2022 and loved it! We chose the Gwynfryn Guest House because of its central location inside the city walls, good reviews, an amazing chapel breakfast area, and overall affordability.... I'm happy to say we had no regrets!
A couple things I'd highlight:
-We met one of the owners (Colin, I believe) and he was super welcoming and suggested a great local restaurant around the corner called Watsons Bistro.
-The rooms are very tasteful and the beds are comfortable.
-The breakfast was tasty and the service was great.
-The chapel is really very beautiful/special/fantastic/all the adjectives.
-We parked right outside the walls for a cheap price. It was only a few minutes walk. No big deal.
Conwy and Snowdonia were our favorite places to visit on our Wales trip, and the Gwynfryn Guest House definitely contributed to that! We would happily go back.

Yelp
What a solid B & B located in the super-charming walled town of Conwy, North Wales!
The main house contains rooms and a sitting area and what used to be the breakfast room. As of last Sunday 5/20/2017~ish, the new kitchen and breakfast room has been relocated to the old church chapel - it's awesome!
So, the room I stayed in was in the "vestry" and was superb! All brand new, clean and cozy -
the room was perfect! The ensuite bathroom was very nice (only needed some hand soap.)
During my recent trip, I stayed twice, but a week apart...kinda coming and going. Both visits were stellar. Colin was extremely cool and accommodating (only met Monica briefly - she was quite friendly).
I'm not sure how soon I'll be back, but I will only stay at Gwynfryn during my next visit to Conwy - it was PERFECT!
5 stars...so SOLID!

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights. Great B&B!! Very affordable for what you get - a comfy, clean room, great breakfast, historic building, and lovely staff. We made our reservations last minute so got a small room with twin beds but it was perfectly laid out with an amazing shower. Stay here! You won't regret it.

Yelp
Beautiful and inviting B&B! Monica and Collin are fine hosts. Rooms are as nice and tidy as any hotel. Privacy of your room as much as you care for and a lovely lounge where you can meet with others. Collin makes a great breakfast and Monica's bubbly personality makes you feel as if you are staying with old friends!
