Absolutely amazing. I had Rattler battered fish and chips, and my girlfriend had the 6oz steak. Both meals where superb, full of flavour and presented wonderfully. Many thanks for a great evening.

I popped in here last night before heading to an event to have dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beer battered fish and chips, which was served very quickly by friendly staff. The portion was a very good size and the food tasted really good! Atmosphere was very nice too. I will definitely be returning at some point.

Had a recent breakfast trip to Gylly Beach and loved our visit. Service was quick and friendly, and the food tasted great. The only issue we had was the wasps which was not part of their service!ha. Highly recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast.

I bought ice cream and draught cider here (rattler), very nice! Staff were friendly and helpful and checked an ice cream was gluten-free for me, which was great. There is a £2 cup deposit for the cider which you get back after returning the cup. Beautiful beach and relaxing atmosphere

I have enjoyed socialising and eating in and taking out food and drink from here on a number of occasions. The staff are friendly and professional and create an inviting atmosphere for their customers. I recently ordered a coffee which was of top standard and beautifully presented. More recently, I tucked into a deliciously fresh fish and chips meal and ate it with the beautiful sea-view to accompany. The food was also of top-standard and I felt very pleased with the service. One unfortunate qualm I have is that there is no Wi-Fi service and for Giffgaff, very weak phone signal for data access, also. If you like the idea of disconnecting from the online world and want to be absorbed into the true beauty that Gylly Beach has to offer, though, then this is no problem! Thanks for your service, Gylly Beach Cafe. I hope to return in the future.

This has to be one of the best seaside cafes in the uk 🇬🇧 👏 To be honest, calling it a cafe is like calling a diamond a bit of coal 😀. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING on our visits. Yes, visits it was so good that we went back the next day to try something different off the menu. Everything was cooked to perfection 👌 👍 the choice, although not extensive was excellent, and the taste and presentation superb 👌 👍. While not overly expensive, it is on the upper side of cost ie £20 for fish and chips, but they will be some of the best you ever had. Honestly, they are that good. Overall outstanding experience ✨️ 👌 👏

We had a recent trip to Falmouth and had breakfast every morning at the cafe for 5 days. The staff were super friendly and so welcoming. The quality of the breakfast was worth the walk each morning. Lovely quick service and really clean premises. Sad to say goodbye this morning.

Yelp
Based right on the edge of the beach this swish cafe bar looks very appealing, they were booked up for food so I'm not sure of the quality but if its as good as it looks it should be great. On a hot sunny afternoon I think I would enjoy relaxing for an hour or two here.

Yelp
I came here with friends after an 8 hour train ride from London and we were famished! Unfortunately, we were informed that in the afternoon all they served was desserts. Not even a sandwich? Nope. Raw veggies? I don't even need them cooked! Sorry. Oh well, a coffee and piece of dry cake that has been sitting out all day it is then. The reason it didn't get 1 star is that the view is beautiful! And if we'd only known, we wouldn't have come during 'no food served in a cafe' time. We sat on the outside patio, drank our coffee, and cooed over one of the other patron's dogs. Their website doesn't say that they are still doing this no food during certain hours thing, so just be careful when you go. Because you never know...

Yelp
Simply wonderful location, right on the beach. High quality café with very friendly staff, competent at handling a volume of people.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a beautiful Sunday evening. On Sunday you can't reserve a table and as its right by the beach it does get really busy. There is one outside area which runs the length of the building and faces on to the beach and although it looked nice, it was very very busy with people waiting for a seat. Inside you sit wherever you want, decide what you want to eat and drink and walk up to the bar to place your order. On all the other days (not Sunday) your food order gets taken at the table. So I'm not sure why Sunday is any different... Throughout the summer months they have BBQ and so I chose the rib special and my boyfriend got the chicken burger. They were both really tasty and my ribs were seriously huge. As they are specials they do sell out, and I got the last ribs because they crossed it of the specials board. Although I enjoyed myself, I'm giving three stars because I think it needs a little bit of love. Clean the tables, floor, windows. Have salt, mayonnaise, ketchup on all tables. Maybe a few more staff. I would be interested to try on a different night and sample their regular menu.

Yelp
Visited here with some old friends whilst on holiday in Cornwall. Food was superb and Service. We had a fantastic view of the beach and the evening was very nice. The Staff were very friendly and even when we asked a question about the hire times for the beach surfing. They did not know the answer but offered to find out for us. This was great customer service. Well done guys. Would defo visit again when we are in Falmouth!!!

Yelp
We loved this place. Beautiful beach location with heated terraces, a pleasant interior restaurant and (despite the previous review) very polite staff indeed. Probably an idea to book the inside restaurant in advance as it was full of happy punters when we were there but outside was available - we dined well on sharing platters of veggie chilli with home made nachos. Well worth a visit...........

Yelp
One of the best beachside restaurants I have eaten at. As I live in London I found the prices reasonable and the food well presented and tasty. The seafood chowder was excellent but the BLT was a bit odd, inch thick slices of granary bread. We visited on a bank holiday Monday and got a table for 7 straight away. This was my fourth visit and it is potluck if you get a table and therefore get to eat but worth trying. We have a live band playing whilst we were there.

Yelp
Gylly Beach Café obviously has one of the best spots in town with some of the best ocean views. It's great to sit out on the couches with the blankets and heaters on a chilly day. Their pastries and food are pretty good, I've never heard anything bad really except that the roast is apparently very small. What brings down the rating is that the staff don't seem to care much. They get tons of people every day, obviously, but you can't really call it "service" - its just taking your order and money. Isn't much attempt to keep up a friendly vibe. I ordered food last week, the guy brought me the hot plate of food, then told me that I had to get silverware from across the room, where he'd just walked by. Self-service is alright, but if you realize your customers didn't understand the system, you be friendly and go get them their silverware, instead of making them let their food get cold in order to walk across the entire restaurant to get silverware you could've brought with. It is your job!

Yelp
The Gylly cafe is in a great spot right on Gylly beach, the refurb has really modernised the place with outdoor heating and comfy seats for in the winter. We've dropped in a number of times over the last few months for a hot choc while walking along the coast, the drinks and the food do seem a little pricy but thats because of the location. For a beachside restaurant it suffers the same problems in that it gets absolutely packed during the summer and bank holidays, we've not been able to have a meal in there for a while. Nice place, recommended for an evening drink or for dropping in.

Yelp
Gylly Beach Cafe is a wonderful place to met friends and family, have a chat with and look out to sea. What more would you want? I loved this little place but was very Disappointment with what I saw there. We all like to eat somewhere clean and hope the staff respects the fact that we are paying to eat, drink in a clean Place. I'm up for environmentally friendly cleaning but to see the (I think was the manager) wipe the table down with his hands and not a cloth is not on. I have e-mailed this person and he seems to think it's ok. I gave a 3 star because of the Beautiful Location.

Yelp
Perfect location, many hours can be spent looking out to see with a hot chocolate (recommend). It is a tad pricey and they usually don't accept card payments under £10 so take some cash just to be on the safe side. But the food is always beautifully cooked and the staff are really friendly. Only advice would be book at lunch/evenings as it gets very busy!

Yelp
Gylly Beach Cafe provides great food in a great location. The interior is very modern and stylish and has a contempoary beach theme. The food is quite pricy but you do get what you pay for. The menu is seasonal and changes often. I reccomend their home made nachos at lunch time! The drinks are fairly price and not as expensive as you might think given the places location and reputation. The outsid seating area is perfect, especially on a warm day. Also nice at night, they light it with candles and leave a basket of fleece blankets out so you don't get chilly. Great great place, but in the evenings I'd say generally more orientated to couples than familys although they do provide a childrens menu.

Yelp
we came here last saturday afternoon and it was really busy . we ordered the shell on prawns in garlic and herbs with caibbatta bread and red onion salad. well we loved it the prawns were massive for he price we paid. the slices of caibbatta were rather thin but very tasty, and the prawns could of had just a touch more garlic but that is my taste as I love garlic. the salad was lip smacking. we was very happy with the service and the meal so two pleased cusomers
