H+ Hotel Stade Herzog Widukind

stade for us was a stop-over between copenhagen and amsterdam, so was one night only. if you're here reading this then you'll know that stade is a picturesque small town, and it's the town itself which is the feature. we chose this hotel because of it's trip advisor ranking and it did not belie that status. it's a small and humble hotel and we were not here expecting all the trappings of a capital city hotel. our room on the first floor was impressively large (room #111), which was invaluable after a day spent in the car. the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom a decent size and the area very quiet at night. there was secure parking underneath that cost a whole €12 and as has been described, the hotel is a very easy walk through the old town towards the water. breakfast was more than we could have asked for. i don't have any negatives to offer, suffice to say i can't quite call it "excellent". it does however deserve better than "good".

We happened to be in Stade by chance on our holiday way and I cannot be happier about that. The town is beautiful and the hotel is right in the very centre of it which allows you to visit all the places. Our family room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel offers great options for anyone (too much to choose from for just one stomach!). And the staff were amazing - very kind and really helpful. I’m glad we found the town and this hotel and recommend it to everyone:)

Nice room and super good beds. Even the pillow was good, which it rarely is in hotels. The rooms were lovely sound proof. Nothing to put your finger on. In fact, just top notch, and can definitely be recommended.

Nice hotel direct in the center of the Stade, with very good service and room equipments. Breakfast selection is also very good, staff very friendly and rooms are absolutely clean and modern.Only small mentioning about the windows isolation quality..if you are situated to the street, where cars are riding on the cats heads, it is quite noisy...but it didn't woke me up during the night..

Centrally located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at the three-bed room that was spacious for a family of four. Very clean as well. Great breakfast, for me if there is herring served at breakfast then it is top notch. The downside was parking. The garage is not bookable and only contained 12 parking places, if I remember correctly. We were very lucky that one space was available but I would not count on it. Otherwise the only other option was public parking. The parking right outside had a three hour limit or similar.

We had a great trip for German Christmas markets, slept in Stade with a 1hour train trip from Hamborg. This hotel was great and had everything needed. Location was in the city centre and located right at the shopping streets. In Stade there was also a Christmas markets which was very lovely.||||Breakfast was great had what you would wish for (except pancakes) and Anna whom was at work when we were therewas brillant, smiling and always had the breakfast stocked up.||||Parking was easy In the basement for a fee a night.

Nice hotel with good location and big clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet with large selection. We will love to come back. Very good parking in the garage under the hotel. Good check on all Corona restrictions.
