To start with the positives, the location is quite good and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. We also appreciated the availability of on-site parking, though the number of spaces is very limited — I managed to secure the last one.
The room was clean, and we stayed in a loft, although I must admit I imagined something a bit more refined for this type of room. One thing worth mentioning is the bathroom: it has large, heavy glass doors with metal hinges that make a very loud clicking noise when opened fully. It’s not a defect, but simply the nature of the door mechanism — however, the noise is loud enough that it could easily wake up someone sharing the room with you, especially at night. A small detail, but one that definitely influences comfort.
The hotel itself shows its age, and a few aspects impacted the overall experience. The elevator from the garage was out of service, which meant walking through staff corridors and back-of-house areas to reach the room — an unusual route for guests. There was also a broken window in one of the hallways, temporarily covered with boards, which didn’t give the best impression. During check-in, the receptionist was rather reserved, though the lady at check-out was extremely friendly, which I really appreciated.
Breakfast was very average for me. Everyone has different expectations, of course, but I’ve experienced better options in hotels of the same category.
The bar staff was a mixed experience: as I approached the bar to request some ice, one bartender briefly said “just a second” before I even had a chance to speak, which felt a bit abrupt. Fortunately, another bartender noticed me waiting and was very kind — he promptly provided a bucket of ice with a friendly attitude, which I genuinely appreciated.
Overall, this is a decent, average hotel for a short stay of one or two nights. It’s certainly manageable, and there are some positive aspects, but based on the price and my experience with hotels in the same category, I expected a little more. This isn’t meant as criticism — simply an honest reflection from someone who’s stayed in many places and likely had slightly higher expectations this time.
