H10 Casa Mimosa (Barcelona, Catalonia) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"We’re sure the Barcelona-based H10 hotel group takes equal care with all its destinations; still, the sheer attractiveness of the H10 Casa Mimosa is worth remarking upon. It’s set in the Eixample, just off the Passeig de Gràcia, on the same block as Antoni Gaudí’s extraordinary Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera. And while it’s perhaps less unusual than its famous neighbor, it’s a building of distinction nevertheless; an early Modernist structure from the end of the 19th century, given a thoughtful makeover by its current custodians on its way to becoming a fine 48-room boutique hotel." - Tablet Hotels

A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service We had an amazing stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Everyone was incredibly helpful and attentive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Dinner in the garden terrace was a highlight—delicious food, served quickly, in a beautiful setting. Plus, the location couldn’t have been better—close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a beautiful hotel with fantastic service. Highly recommend!

Stayed only one night. We were a party of three couples that came in. One of the persons in our party got sick and we had to fly back to the United States A day earlier. Book through Expedia since January. Expedia was willing to forgive the additional night, They told us it was at the hotel discretion, but the staff at the hotel refused to. We checked in for only one night and they charge us for two when we were only there for about 12 hours. Even our airline waived The fee to change our ticket because it was an emergency, but the manager did not care. Horrible business practice, will never use this hotel again. $600 for less than one day. I’m coming back to Spain with a party of 20 people, but definitely will not use this hotel or any of their other H10 locations.

We stopped at Casa Mimosa for four nights in mid-June. We were in a Mimosa suite (room 601). The rooms was large enough with a separate living room and large terrace over looking the street. You get two complimentary bottles of water each day and some complimentary chocolates/candies. The Rituals bathroom products were nice. Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. All the staffs we met were friendly and polite. ||One thing that let the hotel down was the ground floor pool. It was absolutely covered in leaves and twigs all the time. The area round the pool is not swept or tidied regularly. When selfish guests who can’t be bothered to move their used towels and leave them, no one comes to clear them away. My recommendation would be for someone to clear the pool of leaves on an hourly basis so it’s actually usable and restock the towels. I was disappointed I couldn’t get in the pool as it was so dirty. ||But other than the pool issue everything else was fine and we would return.

Nice lobby as we entered, very comfy room with beautiful and large terrace on the first floor with view on the dreamy patio where we had our breakfast (excellent and generous combining local and international dishes ) . The patio allows for privacy in a relaxing environment under the shades of old big trees. A pool on the top floor with a formidable view on the roof top of the famous casa Pedreiras from Gaudí.|Excellent location . Very helpful and professional staff. We loved it and will recommend it ( room 104)

We stayed here for four nights as a family of four - two adults and two teenagers. The rooms were very comfortable - but we did need to book two accommodate us comfortably. Location was convenient and we included the breakfast in our reservation and it was extraordinary. Special thanks to the morning servers as they were always pleasant and helpful. Very convenient walk to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel has a few redeeming features but I could not get past how unusable our room was in its layout. We upgraded to a terrace room but ended up with a long narrow room that had all but six square feet of counter space. For three nights we lived out of our suitcases laying on the floor that we had to step over because there was no where to put our clothes or suitcases. It was a logistical mess for the two of us. The terrace was nice but had two large planters that blocked access to the railing so you couldn't go to the railing and look around. The bathroom was the only nice feature of the room. Service was good but €26 for breakfast was far too expensive with local cafes charging only €8-10. I would consider the H10 Casa Memosa in the future but only if they have rooms with a more functional layout.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here while visiting Barcelona, and chose it by location and on-line reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel is attactive and well maintained, staff are very friendly and helpful, and our "garden view" room on the 2nd floor was spacious and well equipped to meet all our needs. We arrived early at the end of a cruise, and the staff were able to get us into our room earlier than normal check in time, plus they were willing to hold our luggage in a safe place if we wanted to explore the city while waiting. Later they surprised us with a bottle of champaigne and chocolates because we had signed up for the free H10 guest program when making the reservation. We also received 2 free drink vouchers for the rooftop bar.|Our attractive modern room had a small fridge, complimentary bottled water, fresh flowers, large closet, spacious bathroom with huge shower and rainhead spigot, large thick towels, and an amenities kit which included toothbrushes, paste, and comb. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, the room was quiet, and it felt like a sanctuary at the end of each day after touring the area. We had a lovely view over the garden and inner courtyard, where there were tables and chairs for sitting and dining. There's also a rooftop pool and bar, where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the comfortable seating areas. We signed up for the breakfast package in the main floor dining area, and could order off a menu plus take advantage of a cold food buffet each morning. We would not hesitate to stay here again if ever in Barcelona. It was delightful!
