H10 Madison

This hotel was fabulous! The location was very convenient to walk to a lot of places, especially the gothic quarter. The hotel was clean, had a wonderful rooftop area where you could order lunch or dinner, or just hang out and overlook the city, including the Barcelona Cathedral very close. Our room was huge, interior so it was very quiet - the bathroom was large and beautiful. All of the hotel staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet was incredible - such a big European spread every morning, and you could order any specialty coffees as well. I can't say enough good about this hotel. We absolutely loved it and if we ever go back to Barcelona, we definitely will stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at H10 Madison. The staff was fabulous. We felt warm and welcomed when we arrived. The lobby is cozy with drinks available to quench your thirst. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed, and great shower, towels and robes. The rooftop bar and restaurant (with pool) was an added bonus that we enjoyed. The facilities were clean. The hotel is walkable to many local sites. We would return again without question.

This an excellent hotel!!! Rooms and installations are excellent. We called once as the bathroom sink had an issue and the young maintenance guy was there in less than five minutes and resolve the issue. But we have to mention that Debora and Glen deserve were the stars of our stay. They made us feel at home and almost like old friends. Thank you!! Hotel has an excellent location!! Great hotel!!

I had an amazing experience at the H10 Madison. I was in Barcelona for an event and it was so nice to be welcomed every morning at breakfast and every evening when I got back by the very friendly and hospitable team. The room was very well kitted out with everything I needed - washcloths, several towels, spare toothbrush! The bar on the roof was particularly nice and the cocktails were excellent. Honest I can't wait to go back. Definitely a home from home!

Stayed here for a short trip and found the location super convenient—easy to reach sightseeing spots on foot or by public transport 🚶🚆. The room was relatively small, and the air-conditioning wasn’t very reliable. I had to rely on the fan to sleep comfortably. The window faced the back of the hotel, so no view to speak of. Bathroom was okay, but the shower lacked strong water pressure—not ideal if you're hoping to unwind after a long day. The welcome snack was a butterfly biscuit, which sadly wasn’t crispy. Cute idea, but not quite a treat. Reception staff were helpful and supportive throughout my stay, which made a big difference. Overall, decent for a short stay if location and friendly service are your priorities.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at H10 Madison. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with the Cathedral of Barcelona just steps away, making it easy to walk to many of the main sights. Our room was comfortable with cozy bedding, and I especially appreciated the quality of the mattress (a rare find while traveling!). The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower, though some elements felt a bit dated, such as the shower door, which didn’t fully seal. The rooftop was another highlight, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the limited seating at the pool was a downside, especially since it seemed that non-guests were also using the space, leaving no chairs available for hotel guests. Despite that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend H10 Madison for its prime location, comfort, and stunning rooftop views.

H10 Madison is located very centrally to most attractions, and is easily accessible from the airport using the Aero bus service. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was very good, great choice and nicely presented. We had no issue with noise and slept well.

From the moment we arrived at H10 Madison we were greeted with such helpful staff members at the front desk. They were eager to assist us in storing our bags after our early arrival and assigning our group of 9 all of our rooms. The location was terrific! The rooftop restaurant and pool were the icing on the cake. The staff on the rooftop were terrific!

Rooms and accommodations are greatly appreciated for the tired traveler at the H10 Madison Barcelona. From the moment you walk in being greeted with complimentary juices or champagne, to the European style breakfast in the morning with fresh squeezed juices, pastries, cappuccino bar, and to all the typical American items. The rooftop pool and restaurant are also nice luxury to have to get a break from the busy city activities with casual dining and ample menu items. My room was beautiful with a large king size bed and with enough white pillows to fight for hours. In addition, went above and beyond to get us a medical appointment when we had no contacts in our area. And....if all that was not enough, located just down the street from the Cathedral of Barcelona which should be on your sight seeing list.

My family and I stayed at H10 Madison and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed very close to the Cathedral of Barcelona. We got a beautiful view of the Cathedral from our room. We opted to include breakfast and it is a buffet style but if you are craving some sort of egg dish, that is made to order and comes out hot and fresh and all included with the breakfast (no additional cost).our rooms were freshly made each day and all staff were attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel with the most gracious staff. Stayed 6 nights. Room was well kept and comfortable. Comfortable bed, pillows and plenty of towels. I am a club member so extra perks are nice. Love the rooftop pool and bar/restaurant. Breakfast in the morning has many options as well as gluten free options. Right at the edge of the gothic quarter makes for a excellent location. I will definitely be staying here again.

I had the best stay at H10 Madison when in Barcelona and will absolutely be staying here again next time I'm in town. My friend and I were warmly greeted upon entering H10 Madison and throughout our stay staff was incredible. They called taxis for us twice, checked us in quickly, held suitcases, emailed when my room was ready, checked us out just as quickly and even have champagne awaiting your arrival. Excellent concierges! Join the H10 club! You get a nice little welcome gift (usually chocolates), when you clock in. The room itself was perfectly clean, tightly made & comfy bed. It was so cute that there was a little balcony with a table and two chairs outside. Quiet and lovely. Gratis water and a fridge to hold items that also had some drinks for purchase. Bathroom was beautiful though it had a strong sulfur smell X.x. Lovely bathroom other than that though! Huge and tons of extra little amenities for us. Plus, it had a double shower. Absolutely humogenous, lol~! And even with all that, I haven't gotten to the best part. THE ROOFTOP! Oh. Em. Gee. The view from the rooftop on one side is a very close and clear view of Barcelona Cathedral. On the other side, off in the distance, you can see La Sagrada Familia. So many tables and chairs of various sorts, just a really nice place to sit and relax after a long day. We had some drinks up there - beer and non-alcoholic beer but they had many options, even a lot of food. The chicken tenders were surprisingly delicious! Service wasn't friendly up here though and a bit slow so that was kind of weird. But it's so gorgeous, even with a small, pristine pool, it makes up for it. The only other small thing is the hotel is on a one way street so most taxis drop you off a block away on the main road. However, when we had the hotel call a cab for us, they always came right up to the door. Loved this boutique hotel for about 220 Euros and will be staying again next time I'm in town.

This was our second stay at a H10 hotel. The first was back in 2019 where we stayed at H10 Montcada. When I was looking to book again, I compared pricing between both hotels and H10 Madison was slightly lower than H10 Montcada. Luckily both are in the same area, which is an excellent location to stay in Barcelona. Located just off via Laietana, you have El Born on the east side and Gothic quarter on the west side. The Mercat de Santa Caterina is just a few blocks away, as well as the Palau de la Música Catalana. The Mercado de La Boqueria on Las Ramblas is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. On the corner of via Laietana and c/de Sant Pere Mes Baix is a Carrefour market (great for toiletries, snacks, wine, and vodka) and Capppuccino, a place for coffee and tea. Our room was on the 6th floor, #612. It had a small balcony where you could look out to the right and see the Cathedral. Inside the room were windows that also faced the Cathedral. Being on the 6th floor we heard no noise at all when we closed our soundproof windows. That was really nice. One woman we met said her room, first floor, was very noisy, as she could hear the trash trucks empty the bins that were just outside her window. The room had a small sitting area and a very comfortable bed. Nice large bathroom with bright lights. I hate being in hotels that have dark bathrooms. The shower had good water pressure. Amenities include bathrobes, slippers, a vanity kit, lovely shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, and a safe located in the closet. The bathroom had shelving under the sink and there was a decent amount of counter top. I do wish they had hooks on the bathroom walls for things to hang (to the right in my photo). There's plenty of room to do this. The staff are top notch. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful. In the lobby was a table that had a bottle of Cava; and water. That's a nice touch. Love the rooftop area with the bar and great views of the city. They had heated lamps for the cold nights. H10 Madison is rated as a 4-star hotel, but I consider it a 5-star hotel. H10 Hotels will always be my go-go hotel anytime I'm in Barcelona. Lastly, if you become an H10 member, you will get a 5% discount on your bookings.

This hotel in Barcelona is definitely a vibe. Sangria and Aperol spritz on a rooftop with a view was on point. All the staff and facilities were really nice and clean. The location in the Gothic Quarter can't be more central. I would likely stay here again next time I'm in Barcelona.

I can't say enough about this hotel. From check-in to checkout everything was wonderful. The location is perfect. Easy access to everything. Our room had a tiny balcony that we really enjoyed going out on to watch the hustle and bustle. The room was very quiet. We joined the H10 club which gave us chocolates on the bed and a complimentary cocktails on the rooftop. The rooftop is beautiful. We loved relaxing there and the amazing views. We had some light bites which were good. The staff there were incredibly accommodating as it had rained earlier in the day so they grabbed towels for our seats just in case they were damp. The hotel breakfast is incredible. It's worth every penny and the staff are very attentive. We would definitely stay here again!!!

One of the best stays we've ever had! Staff was incredibly knowledgeable , helpful, and kind. Everyone seemed very happy. The room was great came with robes and slippers. I am not sure how they knew it was my birthday but at breakfast that morning the staff sang to me and then that night they brought champagne to our room! The location was amazing you could walk to all shops and sites and taxis always came through so you could wave one down which I recommend over trying to get an Uber. If we come back to Barcelona the only option is to come here!

Beautiful hotel. The art deco decor was right up my alley, so luxurious and decadent. We could see the Barcelona Cathedral from our a double balcony view, wow! Despite our amazing view, the room was on the smaller side, but it was fine for sleeping and resting. The bathroom was quaint and great. Get the morning buffet breakfast/brunch, it's so worth it!! So many options to choose from and you can also order of the menu as well. Oh so good! The location was perfect and great walking distance to everything. I'm so glad we opted to stay here instead of the Hotel Colon only because there is so much tourist traffic in front of Hotel Colon, and less than a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral. Great shopping in the area too, both local shops and larger retail stores. The rooftop view is a MUST SEE, both day and night! I can't wait to go back.

I have been on my Spain tour and Barcelona is my last stop. This property is located in the old/new city. Rooms are large and very modern. Room is cleaned and staff are friendly and professional. Very central for you to walk. For tours to the Gaudi exhibit you may need a driver or cab. My stay at this property is for 5 days. To explore Barcelona I feel 4 to 5 days is the right amount of time here!

Great hotel, great breakfast and restaurants were surprisingly good. We had New Year's Eve dinner with a gazillion dishes that were all excellent. Desserts were great. Lots of wine w the meal. And for New Year's Eve, they gave a party kit to celebrate on the rooftop. The rooftop had a view of fireworks throughout the city. Children were delighted and the mood was festive. Well located too w easy walking to many sites in Barcelona- Sagrada Familia and many museums including the Catalan Music Museum.

Excellent location. Easy walking to many great areas - Picasso museum, la rambla, Columbus statue/port area. Room spacious. We had one facing the courtyard which was quiet and peaceful. 515 Rooftop bar was very relaxing. Did not use the pool but saw several people laying out and enjoying it. Staff was courteous and helpful. Morning breakfast included- plenty of options. They will make you any type of eggs and sides that you want. Great choice in Barcelona

Was first stop on 12 day European cruise, hotel staff was great, friendly and welcoming. The food was good, rooms was clean and neat. The hotel was located by the tourist attractions and metro. Would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again if in Spain.

In Barri Gotic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean with comfortable bed and small balcony; water bottle provided each day. Breakfast options (buffet or menu) were very good. Enjoyed the Terrassa del Gòtic (top floor) one evening for tapas and drinks. Recommend; we would stay here again.

Obsessed with this hotel. I was so impressed with the location, staff and the upstairs pool/lounge area was a great bonus. Beautiful views of Barcelona, was a great spot for our honeymoon & we hope to come back again!

H10 wow! I can't stress what a great hotel chain the H10 is! Look out Bonvoy, you have some strong competition. We have since become H10 Members. Location, location, location! This is the perfect area, near Gotik, city center & walking distance to the old town. Yes, lots of shopping nearby. The hotel spills hospitality from the reception desk to their restaurant. Front desk was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly. Rooms, spacious & always clean. One side of bed as a single USB plug & electrical plugs. Wash clothes yes, soaps & lotions provided by a dispenser in the bathroom. The breakfast in the hotel, is absolutely amazing & refreshing when you compare to the garbage the states provides. You have a wide buffet of fresh fruit, cold cuts from locals, cereals, let's not over look the fresh breads & sweet pastries. Then you have hot breakfast selection prepared to your directions. Whether it be a poached, or omelet, bacon, sausage or fresh pancakes. The service received here is spectacular. We can't wait until we return!

Location was phenomenal, decor classic vintage with a twist of modern. The art was stunning, the chandeliers & even the carpet leading our room. The service was very prompt & helpful. The rooftop terrace was our favorite!! I highly recommend

We stayed there for 6 nights. Rooms are big enough for 2 adults. Front desk staff was gracious to let us into our rooms before 3pm check in. We arrived off our flight and took a cab to the hotel at 8am. Room was ready by noon. Hotel is convenient to everything and staff are friendly Every afternoon, there is complimentary water, cava and lemon water for guests to enjoy.

My spouse and I were very happy with our stay in the H10 Madison. The front desk staff was professional and helpful; the room was beautifully designed and comfortable; and the Avenue restaurant on the first floor serves a nice breakfast. The location is excellent, just blocks from the Cathedral of Barcelona and Palace of Catalan Music and an easy stroll to La Rambla and Passeig de Gràcia. There is terrific rooftop cocktail lounge (with no indoor seating, so plan your attire accordingly.) The bed was comfortable. You can get some street noise, as is common with any urban hotel. But we have nothing but praise for our experience at H10 Madison.

Nice hotel, great location. Rooms are on the small side, but we fit 3 comfortably. Roof top food and service is very good. However, front desk staff is amazing. They were so helpful, helped us get around when needed, had great recommendations. Will 100% stay here again just on service alone.

My friends and I all had rooms here during our vacation in Barcelona. We all stayed around 3-4 days. This place met all our needs - great location, good service, and comfortable. It was conveniently located near either public transit or within walking distance of sites/restaurants we wanted to check out. Customer service was fantastic. The rooms were clean and modern.

The hotel has all the basic amenities you would expect from hotel of this price in Barcelona. The hotels checkin process is average and as H10 members we were supposed to get two free drinks upon arrival which we asked for at checkin but were never given. The location of the property is the hotels best asset. Full stop. If you want an average hotel with average service at its best in a great location this is a hotel to book. Now for the items of concern. The street noise is very loud inside the rooms and the noise is constant all day and all night. With the sounds of garbage trucks picking up trash bins and emptying them over and over being the primary noise you will have to endure. The staffing level is completely inadequate. The staff can be very friendly and professional. However Many times during our 10 days stay the staff were so completely overwhelmed they became agitated, unpleasant and very rude to the hotel guest. The hotel lounge seats by the pool and inside the restaurant was only ever at half full yet they struggled to provide an acceptable level of basic service with the staffing levels the hotel provided. This issue is not a performance issue but a staffing level issue that management is responsible to address. The cleanliness of the hotel was notably below acceptable. The common areas had dishes and garbage placed on the tables for hours before being removed. The guests had no choice to leave it on tables as the hotel has removed all waste bins for the all the common areas. Not a single one is present outside of the guest rooms. This and the total lack of bathroom inside the rooms (except for toilet) is a result of very poor hygiene policies by the hotel management and not staff performance. I wish the staff the best as I feel they are being abused and taken advantage of by the management of the hotel. This is particularly appalling given the workers have had to endure reduced wages and lack of pay altogether for nearly two years leading up to my stay.

If I had the option, I'd give this lovely hotel a much higher rating! From the moment you walk into the quiet, sophisticatedly furnished foyer (always stocked w/fresh water, champagne & juice) and are greeted by friendly, professional staff you are entering a very special place.. This intimate, boutique-feeling hotel is located just 2 blocks from Barcelona Cathedral and a 15 minute walk to the waterfront in Barceloneta...The Avenue, a restaurant on street level, serves complimentary breakfast (hot/cold selections at the buffet or anything from the menu)... Heads up--the rooms are small (as in most European hotels) but luxxe feeling & beds & bedding are soooo comfy after a long sightseeing day...Our room on the 7th floor had a direct view of the Cathedral--we slept w/windows open (no mosquitoes here!) and enjoyed a glorious fresh-air breeze.. Oh, wait! There's a gorgeous rooftop pool where we lounged & enjoyed lunch looking out on the city and mountains....If you're headed to Barcelona, H10 won't disappoint....Did I mention H10 is priced at half the cost of the W??? Love, love, love this gem!!!!

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The staff was fantastic. Highly recommend!

There was a great Black Friday deal so we went for the double room with king bed and no view. Though we were in the back, it was completely quiet - no street noise. It felt extra large since we could open the glass doors to the central open air area. The spacious bathroom has a rainforest shower, extra large towels, double sinks. The included breakfast was perfect, buffet and made to order were all included. Coffee wasn't good - get some juice instead. It is perfectly located. Steps from the Christmas market in front of the cathedral where we encountered all sorts of musical talent in the gothic alley behind it. Numerous shops, restaurants and metro in walking distance - explore all those alleys. Convenient grocery store across the street - find the back, it's bigger than you think it is. Beautiful rooftop bar and views at all times of day. The staff were friendly. The room clean was quick in the morning. Love returning to the smell of verbena in the room and wood right outside our door. The lobby had a light pleasant Cologne smell.

We spent a wedding weekend in Barcelona H10 Madison. We really enjoyed the hotel, and the beautiful rooftop. The rooms were very comfortable and modern. We stayed on a lower floor double deluxe room that faced the courtyard, it was excellent. Quiet, spacious, very good bed, and we didn't need the elevator much (only two elevators so lower floor was perfect). A special note about the staff, which was outstanding. The front desk staff was very kind and always helpful. We also had a last minute request for a 30 people (!) rooftop event, which they facilitated, and was beautiful. Jordi, the sales manager, and his staff were so helpful and professional. I highly recommend the hotel, location was also excellent, don't look any further.

The H10 Madison is great!! The location puts you in the middle of everything. The rooms are comfortable. Modern bathrooms. The rooftop bar and pool have incredible views. Best part of the place is the staff. Everyone who works at this hotel are wonderful!! I would definitely stay here again.

This was the best experience. The staff was amazingly helpful, friendly and efficient. The rooms were perfect. The rooftop is serene and gives a 360 degree view. We highly recommend the H10. The rates were reasonable given the accommodation and location. The location is near everything important. Love this place!!

This was a very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms , and very nice beds. Free water and cava in the lobby . The staff is very helpful and accommodating. You can buy tickets for the local attractions at the front desk. The pool is on the eighth floor and has an amazing view of the city. My one suggestion is to ensure upon booking that you are guaranteed your room of choice. We were told when checking in that they would try to give us our room of choice. This was a bit concerning since we had booked this room months in advance. Luckily we received our room of choice. Overall a pleasant experience.

The H10 Madison is a great hotel in Barcelona. It's located in the Gothic Quarter, very close to the Barcelona Cathedral and to the top spots. The hotel itself is only 2 years old. The rooms are a tad on the smaller side, but well-decorated (stylish) and the bathroom amenities smell divine. Everything still looks brand new, and sparkling clean. The rooms have a ton of natural light too. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's clear they take a lot of pride in their work, and truly want to help their guests have a great experience. Feel free to enjoy some complimentary water or cava in the lobby at check in, or during your stay.

This hotel is located in a great location right next to the Cathedral and a lot of small shopping streets. About 8-10 min walk to La Rambla. It also has a nice rooftop for evening drinks or even dinner. The pool is a baby pool. Probably great for kids or just to dip your toes in. Not a real pool u can actually stand in. The room is a decent size and everything is pretty conveniently located. It's a good choice if you are staying in Barcelona.

This hotel is centrally located and well-maintained. In addition to excellent staff, they offer champagne and still water at no additional charge. The room we had offered a balcony view of the streets and alleys. It was fairly quiet with the exception of the employee office/supply room located next to our room. There were a couple of days out of our 7 day stay in which we were awoken by noises from this part of the hotel. Of course, this is dependent upon where your room is located. On two of our 7 days, we didn't receive room cleaning despite putting the sign on the door. This wasn't a big enough deal to fuss about as the cleaning team were very courteous and seemed to have a heavy workload, so we won't hold that against them. The front desk offered umbrellas for loan which was super great because it was pouring one day, unexpectedly. The room service food was served hot and delicious as well. We don't plan on revisiting Barcelona, but if we ever did, we would consider staying here again.

Great location - down the block from the Barcelona Cathedral. Friendly and helpful staff - gave good recommendations. Loved the arrival champagne toast. The rooftop bar and pool offered magnificent views. We had a street side room and it was very quiet.

Such a cute hotel! 10/10 recommended, the rooms are very cute and everything seems to be thought of! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. If you get breakfast in the morning try to get the server named Carla, she was so helpful and kind.

Great hotel it should be five and not four stars. Front office staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooftop bar is excellent both in service and the view of the Barcelona cathedral. Best of all the morning breakfast.

Excellent hotel. Central location and an extremely friendly staff. Upon check in we were given champagne, and another bottle was waiting for us in the room. The breakfast included is both fresh and delicious, with buffet and menu options. We went back to the hotel restaurant for lunch and it was also good. The staff, particularly in the restaurant, were very kind and took great care of us. Highly recommend this hotel.
