This Hotel is a little Gem. A great place to unwind in peace with beautiful scenery. We had a suite on second floor which did not disappoint. Good plentiful with plenty of choice. Drinks plentiful. Very clean spacious Hotel, very friendly staff. Beautiful pools. The beach was down quite steep steps so not great fur mobility issues. Lots of nudity.

Very nice fitness classes, enjoyed the back and the pilates class so far. Good instructions and nice choices of the programm. Luckily it fitted perfectly with what I needed at that very moment. Motivated and kind trainers wich are taking attention to the guests and their tempo. Makes lots of fun. Thank you so much for your time and instructions. Could be more often :-)

Our third time at this lovely hotel. We again had a privilege room. From arrival to, unfortunately, having to return home, our stay was wonderful. All the staff are extremely friendly and they work so hard to make sure you have the best holiday. ||Our room had a fabulous view and was absolutely spotless (as everywhere in the hotel seemed to be), the food was amazing and the entertainment was superb. ||The location of this hotel, with all the beautiful, golden sandy bays so close, is stunning. We had a fantastic stay and have already booked for next year. So looking forward to returning

Hotel is nice and believe it just about holds on to 4 stars!! A few issues with check in although arrived late and appreciate staffing may be short at 11pm, saying that expected a better welcome!! Air conditioning seems to be a concern for most people this week as hotel had known problems, I was told it was important for them to fix asp, 28 air conditioning seems was not very comfortable for the first few nights, although has now went down to 23 with self regulation I guess, but still does not let you do manual! The privilege service is mixed from us, I will try not to compare with other horizon collection hotels however still I would expect slightly better!! 9 pm closing in privilege lounge is poor and also the selection of branded drinks, poorest I have seen in recent years! Nice to have the chipped wrist band as other H10 hotels have but seems to have issues with system as had to reset with reception a few times! Customer Service is mostly good and have some great staff on board, just the one or two that could perhaps have a refresher in customer service with a smile! Food I would rate 3 star, with privilege 3/4 star, my main meal of lamb last night was very disappointing and was returned, I was offered something different from menus to try and recover the situation but I had lost appetite. Positive’s so far privilege rooms are great, blocked shower was fixed with 30 months be of reporting. Pool area very quiet and relaxing, Blue bar has the best team that are obviously professional in what they do operating the bar, the team do not stop and provide high quality drinks/ cocktails to variuos customer needs. Would we return potentially yes but will see how the next few days go 👍🏻

Had a weeks holiday with my wife and daughter. Hotel and room was really clean and we had a great view of the sea. Good variety of food in the buffet restaurant, some of the freshly cooked meats like pork are overcooked ,but the veal , chicken and lamb were delicious. Plenty of different types of fish, if that’s what you like, but not for me though. There was plenty to choose from and it varied every night, of course there’s always pizza and chips but the other dishes do change. Good choice of deserts to, especially the chocolate fudge type cake. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, I never like the bacon or sausages but freshly made omelettes are lovely, as are the pastries and fresh fruit. No problem getting drinks from the pool bar or upstairs bar near reception. It is a very quiet hotel, a bit of music around the pool would be nice. The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss, the violinist/guitar act and the 3 guys who did the soul night were superb. Would definitely recommend if you want a nice quiet relaxing holiday.

Stayed in a Privilege Junior Suite for 10 days. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. It is a big hotel but never felt busy. The food was excellent and plenty of choice but is worth going for privilege as the a la carte restaurant was exceptional. The privilege lounge was a bonus, somewhere to cool off with snacks and an array of drinks for you to help yourself. The proximity to the beech is amazing and the beeches in that area are stunning. It is a quieter area of the island so if you want to chill, swim, relax and enjoy the food and cocktails this is the place, if you want nightlife it's not. We found all the staff friendly and attentive and enjoyed the activities with Wadji. Will definitely return to this hotel for another amazing holiday. Thanks to everyone at H10 Esmeralda.

I have just returned with my husband from our wonderful holiday at Playa Esmeralda.|This was our fifth visit and I'm sure it wont be the last!||We decided to treat ourselves with a suite and we absolutely loved it! Huge lounge area and massive bedroom with a bathroom that had a large walk in shower.|The balcony looked out to the pool and sea and had chairs, a table and loungers (which we never used!) We loved the space that the suite offered us.||The pool was gorgeous, large enough to have a good swim and exceptionally clean and refreshing. Very peaceful to relax by and all the guests were so quiet and respectful of others.||The beach is enormous and worth a walk towards Sotovento beach where you can watch kite surfers etc.||The food on offer at all sittings offered variety and we enjoyed the seafood in particular.||We found all the staff to be very welcoming and friendly and our housekeepers did an amazing job every day.||Look forward to seeing you all again next year.|Jacqui and David Burnham

We first visited this hotel over 30 years ago, not long after it had been built & decided that it was time for a return. The hotel is situated on one of the small cove type beaches to the South of the Costa Calma main beach. It is somewhat remote, so if you want to do anything other than the hotel AI package, a hire car is recommended. Taxis, a service bus and day trips are available.|The thing that makes this hotel special is the staff. We found them all very friendly and super hard working. Señor Ali, the restaurant manager, was a great help with my wife’s dietary requirements, as she is Coeliac. The waiters were all brilliant, however one lady Marianna?, seemed to be a mind reader and could remember your usual dinner time drinks order. Housekeeping was done to a very high standard and Maria on reception was very helpful. |Our room was in the block away from the main hotel, it was very spacious and equipped with safe (extra fee), fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and comfy beds / pillows.|Food. We found the selection of food available, more than adequate and we thought that the chef did a brilliant job in catering for a multinational clientele. I really enjoyed the shellfish dishes.|Aircon. Unfortunately, we arrived in the middle of a calima, which totally overwhelmed the hotel air con in both rooms and public areas. The staff should be commended for their fantastic efforts in very difficult circumstances. The AC was adequate when conditions returned to normal.|Pools. Yes, a bit cold, but not overly so. We have been visiting Fuerteventura for years and have never encountered a warm swimming pool. In any case, who needs a pool when the Atlantic is on your doorstep?|Beach. The hotel has its own access to a public beach but has no control over sunbeds etc. 15 euros for 2 beds and a sunshade. The beach like all others south of the Costa Calma main beach, is clothes optional. Do or don’t, its your choice, the beach is huge with room for everyone.|Suggestions. |Streamline check in. We had no problem, but if a bus load of visitors arrive at once, you could be looking at over an hour|Offer help with cases for late arrivals, especially for the rooms remote from the main building. Trying to navigate in the dark and drag heavy luggage over uneven paving, is not easy|Label restaurant food with allergen information. If would save restaurant staff no end of time consulting with the chef. I am sure that . Señor Ali still has nightmares about soup after our visit|Offer a take away lunch bar, where AI guests can make a pack up in leu of returning to the hotel for lunch. |Summing up. A great hotel that we hope to return to|PS. When using the left hand elevator, watch out for the turtle that sits on the elevated edge of the ground floor ornamental pool, he is there most afternoons. Try to work out how he gets up there.

Entertainment not great, mainy aimed towards Greman guests. Ents team didn't even speak in English some nights! Saw one of the ents team be very rude to a guest one evening also. Food very good, great selection and amazing quality every night and you can choose between snack bar and restaurant for lunch. Hotel is right on the beach, but there are very few bars/clubs nearby. Not a location for a lively holiday!!
