H10 Port Vell

It's a great hitel to stay at when in Barcelona. First, the location is great. Minutes from the metro, seconds from the harbour, not far from the beach, and about 10 min walk to the gothic quarter. The area is safe and clean. It also has a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is very good. It has a range of useful services. The staff is always there to help no matter the hour. There is always someone around. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. All the staff, from reception to cleaning service, to restaurant. The breakfast is lovely. With a range of healthy and local options. Real fresh juice. The rooms are great. Spacious. Well equipped. And they have high quality products for shampoo, hand wash, and body wash. I loved the fact that the hotel is only powered by renewable energy. (Or so they say - let's hope the claim is true). My only gripe: The rooms are not very soundproof. I could hear the street quite a bit. And the neighbours has a young child, when they screamed (which they have the right to do), you could hear them quite clearly. Overall, I recommend and would stay there again.

I love this hotel..from the minute you enter it until you leave. The staff are so friendly. Rooms are really comfortable with amazing rain shower. Love the rooms with the marina view but alas not always available . The side street rooms are also great. Breakfast is great if you are a meat eater but maybe lacks a bit for a vegetarian. Despite that I still score it a full 5 out of 5. This must have been my 5th trip here and despite travelling solo this time still loved it. I will be back!

I stayed as it was conveniently located for a company event. It is a lovely hotel - breakfast selection was really good and service provided by the waiting staff and reception really good. Room was convenient and had a benefit of being able to open the window. I liked the location - close to the port and Gothic quarter. I also appreciated water being provided daily by the hotel in glass bottles. One morning there was a problem with hot water - as a way to apologize- hotel provided lovely dessert in the room. I would definitely stay again

Great boutique hotel in a very accessible location. Short walk to gothic quarter, aquarium, close to cruise ship terminals, and hop on/off bus practically at the door (across the street).|This hotel is ideal for a romantic getaway but not great for toddlers/young children with light switches easily reachable (adult hip level) and open bathroom with no locks on the doors.|We were on the 2nd floor facing another building and the evenings were quite nosy from the restaurants below.|Breakfast was incredible with à la carte hot options and plenty of breads/pastries/juices/meats, etc…|Staff were super helpful with directions and arranging a taxi to the hotel while nearby streets were closed for a 10km race.|They have cots for babies by request.|The gym on the 5th floor had all the basics, but a bit small and cramped if more than one person was working out in there.

The location was great—right across the street from the marina and an easy walk to both El Born and the Gothic Quarter. They do highlight “marina views,” but I wouldn't say the view is that impressive, but that didn't bother me, just something to note. The hotel itself is very classy with lots of thoughtful touches. Upon arrival and checkin, they offered me a coffee then brought coffee, a cookie, and water to my room. They were also very accommodating in allowing me to check in early. They keep snacks available at all times in the lobby, including cookies, candy, and apples. The bar and restaurant felt high-end, and the toiletries bag in the room was another nice detail. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They advised me on what time I should get to the airport for my flight and arranged a taxi that arrived not only on time but early—especially helpful since rideshares in Spain can be difficult to get or unreliable. Overall, a stylish, welcoming hotel with excellent service and a fantastic location. My stay was perfect!

Amazing and beautiful hotel! You are treated like a special guest as soon as you walk in. The room was very nice, super clean, cozy and modern. The reception and lobby area is very cute and nice. The rooftop area with the pool is amazing. The gym though is very small and limited - I would say only 1 person (or 2 max!) at a time should be in there. Great location with tons of restaurants around. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

The breakfast is very nice, and you can order many different things. The view is fantastic, and if it gets too hot, there is a small swimming pool to cool off in. We would definitely come back. We just got back from a stay at the H10 Port Vell Hotel. This is more of a boutique hotel in an excellent location. 10 mins walk from the beach or Cathedral, and even las Ramblas street. There are lots of restaurants and bars all around the hotel. I can't say enough of the location. The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. Offered a drink on arrival, and check-in process was quick and painless. The rooms are a little bit on the small side but that is expected in Europe as things are a little tighter over there space wise. But they were equipped with everything you need, hair dryer, iron, shower gels, mini fridge with pay items. However you do receive 2 free bottles of water everyday with the maid service. Rooms were cleaned daily, job well done by the maids. The hotel has a small plunge pool on the roof with a bar and some eats. The view from here at night was awesome, and the staff very friendly. Food orders until 10pm and drinks until 11pm. This was our chill spot after a long day of being tourists. This hotel is about a 30 min uber from the airport. I would highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back in the future.

My wife and I stayed here before boarding Celebrity X Edge for European summer vacation 2023. We only stayed for two days, but in those two days we decided that this is a wonderful hotel with a very attentive and welcoming staff that it should be five stars! Picked by luck on priceline we stumbled into a wonderful hotel! Breakfast is included in the rate and its location was superb! If we find ourselves in Barcelona again, we will definitely be staying here. If we find an H10 hotel somewhere else we will be staying there! It was that good! Really! The staff were all bilingual with their English, being much better than my Spanish! The rooftop bar and pool or gorgeous, and offered a lovely view of the port!

We needed a hotel that's location was good for sightseeing and for getting to the cruise port and this was perfect! We even walked to the cruise port along the waterfront with our rolling suitcases! (caution: it was a long walk) We stayed here for two nights. Added bonuses were the restaurant/bar on the top floor that looked out over the city and the super friendly staff who spoke English. Arriving from the airport in a taxi was a little difficult because the taxi driver could not let us off at the front door. Was it because it was a stretch limo? Nah. Sometimes, luck is on your side (that was us in the taxi line when the limo pulled up for the next patron in line. Who me? Yes! yes!). So after being dropped off, we had to figure out where the hotel was, which was about a block from where the limo dropped us. Hmmm ... don't know if this was normal or not. Easy walking distance to Las Ramblas from here, to the Maremagnum, and to the Gothic quarter. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel at the same time from England and having a rather good time in the elevators and on our floor, but we didn't hear them once we shut the door to our room. Super clean room and spacious bathroom area. Wi-fi free and worked great. Highly recommend this hotel!

Sometimes one stays in a wonderful hotel and then, after one gets home, one completely forgets to write a review. Oops! The H10 Port Vell is well situated to get to the beach, downtown or to a whole bunch of restaurants. It is a chic hotel that borders on boutique. The owners have spent some time on thinking about how to make this hotel unique in a city where unique is the norm. The rooms are pleasantly appointed with all the modern necessities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The elevators work efficiently and you won't have to wait too long to catch one. The rooftop bar and pool is a wonderful oasis where you can listen to music, snack on a few food choices while listening to some music provided by a live dj. In the lobby you will find another bar and a restaurant that serves good food at a reasonable price. The service when we were there was excellent. The maid service was exemplary and the front desk clerks were very polite and helpful. Many of the rooms have views of the Mediterranean Sea. If you request one, try to get a room on an upper floor. The H10 chain in Spanish and they have a few hotels in Cuba. Definitely worth another stay when we are in Barcelona again.

H10 Port Vell (old port) was a great choice in hotel; the staff were very friendly yet did not hold you up as you came and went if you did not stop, the rooms were a funky design and a reasonable size. The location was fantastic being right on the edge of Born quarter and only a short walk from the Gothic; so many things of historical interest were very close by. The others use was the harbour, with the restaurants, bars and markets with the beach only a little further away; yet despite this the rooms picked up very little outside noise. To top it off the rooftop bar and plunge pool were a great way to unwind after a day exploring the city sights before venturing out to discover the local food and nightlife.

I found this hotel on booking.com and was really impressed with the reviews. It is located in a prime location in Barcelona. Close to stores and the water. Champagne and sweets greet you as you arrive. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast which was included is nice because you can order and omelette or eggs your way. This was a plus! The room was a bit small though nicely decorated. The bathroom was nice and the shower was like heaven. However, it was dimly lit so I could barely put on my makeup! We could never get out wifi to work which was a pain. The terrace has wonderful views of the port and the drinks were great! I would recommend it!

Quiet boutique hotel with an amazing staff! Each day we were met with a smile. The front desk went out of their way to meet our needs. From accommodations to directions around town we felt well taken care of. Modern decor and easy access also make this hotel a winner.

This was our first stay in Barcelona and after much research we booked at H10. The choice was 100% the right one! The check-in was easy and smooth. The staff was EXCELLENT, very helpful and friendly. You are welcomed with a glass of cava too! The rooms are very modern and we were lucky to be upgraded to a harbour view. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Conveniently located near the harbour/marina, lots of good restaurants, and only a few minutes' walk to Las Ramblas. In particular we had an issue with our flight out being cancelled. When we spoke with the hotel staff about our issue (4 of us), they jumped to help as much as possible and very quickly. They helped us look for other flights, print our new tickets, arranged our cab to the airport and offered comforting words in a time of tremendous stress. They were simply AMAZING!!

Amazing hotel. The location is perfect. Right at the port so it's easy to get to the beach or gothic quarter or Ramblas. The staff always goes above and beyond and the rooms are so nice! We hung out on the roof for a long time each morning laying in the morning sun. Get Room service on the roof by the plunge pool and watch the activity at the port.

Wonderful stay at the H10 port vell. Front desk staff (especially sergi) were professional and friendly. Room was clean and crisply appointed. Amenities were abundant, from razor and toothpaste to shoehorn. Perfect location for visiting the gothic quarter and Las Rambla.

Great hotel! Location is right near the chic waterfront area. Room was nice, quiet, clean. Bathroom came with tons of necessities like toothbrush, razor, shampoo, sewing kit, etc. welcoming reception area - offered beverage on arrival. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
