To access this nice little hotel, you will need to be dropped off and walk into the neighborhood for a couple minutes as the streets around it are pedestrian only (except for service vehicles, etc.) Our family had three rooms on the fourth floor during the Christmas season, and it served us well. The hotel is renovating so the dining area is closed off, and construction sounds begun at 9 am or later which was completely reasonable imo. ||The location for a group of first timers to Barcelona was excellent. It was easy to access morning coffee and pastries, la rambla, the boqueria, the metro, Christmas markets, local atisan market, and several plaças within footsteps- it felt like access to everything was no more than ten minutes away. The helpful staff were able to schedule taxis for our large group to pick up at the front door of the hotel, but I can't imagine this is possible in the high tourist season.
