We just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The best about this hotel is the location. It's only 5 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya and the aerobus, making it very convenient to travel from and to airport. The hotel is right in front of Plaza Urquinaona and the Urquinaona metro. This location is very calm and quiet. The room is spacious, clean, and has all the amenities we were looking for. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay that is central yet peaceful. This hotel is a 4 star hotel yet it is much better than the 5 star Kimpton Vividora that we stayed at at the end of our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel.

First class all the way, location was fantastic, so central, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was an issue and always so helpful. The rooms were spacious, bright, spotless. The most comfortable beds to sleep in. The decor of the hotel was so beautiful, the Christmas tree and Christmas decorations were so beautiful. The food, drinks and service was first class, the waiter was one of the friendliest staff member this goes for all the staff there, the service they gave all customers was first class all the way. We look forward to going back to Barcelona and staying in the H10urquinaons again and would highly recommend to to anyone looking for a hotel in Barcelona. From my mom and aunts we thank you all for making our trip extra special and safe.

Historic Charm, Modern Comforts — Festive & Fabulous Stay 🎄🏨 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short & Sweet: Beautiful heritage building with a wow-factor atrium, stylish lounge spaces, spotless rooms, and friendly, switched-on staff. Central, quiet, and effortlessly comfortable. From the moment you step into the grand courtyard atrium—all elegant ironwork and soft lighting—the hotel feels special. Seasonal decorations are tastefully done (the Christmas tree was stunning), and the lobby lounge is the kind of place you actually want to sit for a coffee or evening drink. Rooms are clean, calm, and comfortable with quality bedding, good blackout, and quiet A/C—easy to sleep and easy to work thanks to a proper desk and plenty of outlets. Bathrooms are modern and well kept, with strong water pressure and good amenities. Service is warm and professional: quick check-in, helpful local tips, and small details handled without fuss. The location is ideal for exploring—central yet tucked enough to stay peaceful, with cafés, restaurants, and sights within an easy walk. Food: Breakfast food selection is a bit limited but You can find all You need for healthy and fit meal. Everything is fresh and tasty. 💡 Verdict: If you need a good central spot for exploring Barcelona and like classic architecture paired with modern comfort and a polished, friendly vibe, this hotel is a clear yes.

Overall GREAT but DO NOT BOOK ESSENTIAL ROOM….Great location and close to Passeig de Gràcia, La Rambla and Gothic Quarter. Friendly staff, very clean, beautiful lobby and back patio. Excellent buffet breakfast. We booked the Essential Room and it was ridiculously small for 2 people and should only be advertised for 1 person - no room to open a suitcase let alone 2. Photo of Essential Room shows an arm chair… there was no chair in our room!

We stayed here for three nights, two with our tour and one on our own. The location of the hotel couldn't be beat for easy walking to central city. Very nice, professional staff. Yes, locals do not eat much early, but they sure serve up a great breakfast (extra but worth it). First room was perfect, large by Europe standards, solid walls, good bed, with a nice balcony facing street. We were slightly inconvenienced by having to move to a second room the last night. But they not only accommodated, but bumped us up to an even better room facing the courtyard. We enjoyed a bottle of cava on our private balcony on our last night in Spain. I am an OG Trip Advisor member and do not give out five stars lightly, but don't hesitate in this case.

We stayed here for five nights in an interior room with a balcony. The housekeeping staff and front desk personnel were great at their roles. The location is excellent with close access to bus and red and yellow metro lines. Price was reasonable for the area. Our only issue we’re other guests would stay on their balcony until 1 or 2 am talking loudly making rest difficult. Not much the hotel may do there but it still impacted our opinion a bit. Lovely hotel otherwise.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff are brilliant and very helpful. The location is excellent. Very central for everything. We stayed in the Junior Suite on the sixth floor. It was amazing. It is still the rear of the hotel, so very little noise. You have a large balcony with chairs. Also, you have your very own hot tub. This is great after a long day. You are not overlooked at all. The rooftop pool is small and there is a small seating area and sunbeds. The breakfast is self-served and plentiful. There are evening meals available as well. Would I stay here again? Definitely yes. Highly recommended.

The location of this hotel is fantastic and definitely its biggest draw – perfect for exploring Barcelona. The rooms are a little used and dated but a decent size. We really appreciated the complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival as well as the bottled water provided throughout our stay. That said, there were a couple of things that didn’t quite work for us. The bathroom layout is a bit unusual, with the sink and vanity outside the area where the toilet and shower are, which felt a little odd. We had also requested a double bed but ended up with two singles pushed together, which wasn’t ideal. Furthermore, we arrived at the hotel around 2 pm knowing early check-in isn’t always possible, but were told they’d let us know once the room was ready and by check-in which was at 3pm. In the end we didn’t get the keys until 3:15 and only after my partner asked, which was a little disappointing. Overall, a nice stay with some thoughtful touches, but the location is really the main highlight of this hotel.
