I wanted to make sure I left a review to express how much I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived the entire staff was extremely accommodating. I speak limited Spanish and they assisted patiently with all of my questions about the city along with making excellent recommendations and reservations. ||I loved the location which was in walking distance to all of the sites in the city I wanted to see. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and had a great view (Classic Gran Via View room). I appreciated the daily replenishment of water bottles. ||I am looking returning to this hotel during my next trip to Madrid.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights and were impressed from the exceptional service of the hotel's staff. We very much appreciated the attention and care of the personnel. From the arriving moment until departure we feel that. Specifically would like to highlight Victoria from front desk, who helped us with first orientation in local destinations. On another note, we didn't like the fact that room doesn't have outside windows, only openings to internal well. Overall - great experience.

Google
Positives: Lobby was very nice. The bar was great -- good food at the bar and great service from the bartenders. On Gran Via so close to many restaurants. Negatives: Breakfast was sub-par in comparison to the other hotels we stayed at in Spain. Air-conditioning didn't work well. The biggest negative though, is noise. I could hear music pumping every night until about 1am... Made it impossible to sleep. Perhaps it was because I was in 2nd floor room facing the street, but it was a major bummer.

The staff was wonderful and they pleasantly and patiently handled special requests such as laundry service with a fast turnaround, tour recommendations, prearranging for an extra large taxi to the train station, and finding vegan dining options. Special thanks go to Victoria, Mario, and Pablo at the front desk for their excellent help and hospitality and to Damian and Daniel in the Bar/Restaurant for their patience, kindness, and willingness to accommodate special requests such.||The lobby and bar area are beautiful and meld both traditionally Spanish and very modern aesthetics into the decor. Our 5th floor terrace room was bright and airy and we loved having the spacious terrace with its rooftop views of the narrow but charming Calle de la Reina below, even though the weather was autumnal and sometimes rainy. The beds were especially comfortable and the hotel offers a variety of pillow densities upon request. The black and white tiled bathroom was handsome and roomy with a nice shower wand with multiple settings and lovely Rituals (a local company) Sweet Orange and Cedar Wood personal care products, plus a nice grooming kit on the marble counter.||We paid for breakfast with our reservation and we enjoyed the food and service each morning, particularly the extent and variety of the buffet options, from both Spanish and English cuisines. It was great to enjoy churros and turrones with Nutella with breakfast every morning!||We will definitely return to Madrid and will happily book H10 Villa de la Reina again.

From the moment arrived we received the most lovely welcome from Mara at the front desk, who gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities. ||The lobby is gorgeous, the cocktails are delicious, the breakfast was typical, but the breakfast setting was quiet and intimate, the rooms are lovely, beautifully appointed, but bursting with all the little extras that make a big difference - an espresso machine (refilled daily), robes, slippers, fluffy towels, three different pillows to choose from, and thoughtful amenity kits. ||There was a slight hiccup with the curtains in our room (no big deal) but they were quickly fixed and even sent a bottle of wine to apologise for the inconvenience. ||The location is fantastic, right on the Gran Via, and close to great restaurants, shopping and metro. ||Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is well situated, it has really well thought out rooms that are quiet and clean. The staff at Villa de la Reina was so personable, helpful, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Not only did they give us so many suggestions on where to eat (where the locals eat) and ideas on good shopping streets (we found some local jewelry) but they gave us some great sightseeing suggestions as well. Lore Donna (I hope that I spelled that correctly) went out of her way to see that we were having a good time.

Google
This is an excellent Hotel. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean and maintained to the highest standard. We did think that the bar and the breakfast restaurant were understaffed. The staff there did their absolute best,

Google
This hotel is in the heart of the city, walking distance to all the good restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff is incredibly professional and polite. The hotel lobby is very snazzy and an absolute delight we often found ourselves having drinks in the lobby. The room are a great size and very clean. Would absolutely stay here again

Yelp
Great hotel in the center of the city. Is quaint, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is great! I enjoy the ease of walking to all the big attractions around the center of the city, and even better, metro station is literally across the street.

Yelp
We stayed here for four days in June. It was a great location, right in the middle of the city. I loved our balcony, which made me feel like a queen looming over the commoners on the street below. The restaurant was very good and the staff was amazing!! I'll definitely return.

Great location, free breakfast, friendly staff. Loved the library like setting in the lobby.

Yelp
This was a wonderful choice for our 6 day stay in Madrid. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping. We had a sixth floor double in the back. Very comfortable and quiet. Beds were comfortable and room very clean. Daily housekeeping took very good care of us. Bathroom was modern and large. Hotel lobby is lovely with a bar. Breakfast room was large with plenty of tables Food was fresh and well-prepared with many choices. Staff was courteous and professional. There were really no negatives to report. Loved it.

Yelp
We started with drinks in the bar, wine and gin/tonics. We took our drinks to the roof to watch a gorgeous sunset. We were just out of season otherwise we would have had rooftop service. Tip: get a first floor bar drink then go watch the sunset Recommended Slanche

Yelp
Excellent experience!! I love this hotel. I usually get a good rate. In fact I think this hotel is a great value. Locationwise, it just cannot be beaten. It is in the heart of the city and near anything I want to see. Gran Via is the heart of Madrid. My rooms were spatious and comfortable. The food is something that they are very proud and with a reason. The Bar -a favororite of mine- has few but amazing tapas. It is a good launching pad to live the City. My breakfast was included and it was great. There are 2 coffee machines. I think is better the one inside the room than the one more visible.

Yelp
Not a great experience. Tiny, tiny room. No cork screw. The chair didn't fit under the 2'x2' desk making the small space even more problematic. Tried watching CNN and was told "we have problems with reception on the English channels - we're not sure why. Sorry!" The bed rolled all over the place (and was barely a twin) and the sheets felt like sandpaper. Would not stay here again.

Yelp
This is a great hotel. The location is awesome being at the center of the city. You can take a train from the airport to get to this hotel. The friendly staff will assist you in your needs. They can speak English and would tolerate your broken Spanish. The rooms are small and the water pressure is not that great. People smoke in their rooms even though it is a non-smoking wing of the building.

Yelp
Worst Hotel ever!! Tiny room, mediocre air conditioning, one English Channel. Tub shower ridiculous. Can barely walk around the bed.

Yelp
Great hotel! I'm staying here with my dad while we are on a trip to Spain and it's been very nice. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms are not the biggest, but the bed is comfy and the bathroom is spotless, so that's all that matters! Also, from our side of the hotel, we have a gorgeous view of Gran Via and a small balcony to go along with it! The hotel is close to some awesome food spots, shopping, and the metro. Lots of things to do in this area and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Yelp
H10 Villa de la Reina is a four star boutique hotel which is a minute's walk from Gran Vía metro station, and a 15-minute walk from both the Museo del Prado and the Royal Palace of Madrid. Its location is SUPER but you pay for this. Its interior looks like a casual living room / library with lots of bookshelves, leather chairs and couches. It's a warm, inviting place. The rooms are not big but have all the amenities. Flat screen TV is smaller than in other similar hotels and a generation older. But they work. Breakfast was a bit of a let-down; it's a very budget hotel affair. Service at breakfast was an impersonal experience with waiters rushing, and not looking you in your eye. This is in contrast to the front desk where service is superb. The bar is a friendly place but heinously expensive, a single gin tonic costing €12.20 a pop! Madness.

Yelp
Good breakfast.Older hotel old soft beds.NO multiple-country adapter plug in room, has to ask for it and it took sometime to acquire one. Location is perfect for walking to various tourist attractions. No actual restaurant on site ,just tapas type lunch or dinner

Yelp
This was an awesome hotel. The rooms are spacious and bathroon was clean. In the lobby you can chill out wathcing tv and drink beers all night. They bring out nuts and everytime you order a beer during lunch hours, you get a little free sandwich too. The breakfast buffet that is included in the price was top-notch. I am used to having free breakfast buffets which includes fruit, toast, eggs, and cold cereal. But not here! You get a cappucino machine, over 5 different types of fruits, pastries, and cereals, cheese, dried fruit, also like 4 different hot plates to choose from. The location is good, there are always taxis around to go to places. Walking distance from the plazas and restaurants.

Yelp
Sometimes I go to shit bars for cheap drinks and because I want to get away from the crowd. This is one of those bars. At least they gave us free crisps. (But that is expected in Madrid)
