H15 was a recent stay for a Polish excursion my family and I took last week, and during our Warsaw stay, we were here.
The location of H15 is pretty ideal: minutes away from Old and New Warsaw towns, near the Metro, and on a block loaded with eateries.
The hotel itself is very much like a modern, SoHo apartment; swanky, up-to-date, blown up posters, and kept-well. The beds were comfortable, the rooms kept clean, and the service was decent. My only issue was with the service clerks at our check-in.
I'm not sure if they were trying to make a buck for H15 or not, but we arrived on New Year's Day around dinner time. We'd asked for any recommendations for a place for dinner. The two young men continually told us nothing was open, "Good luck," and we'd be better off just ordering from the hotel and eating room service. On our way in, we'd passed numerous places that looked open. Lights on, people sitting down inside. However, being new travelers to the country, we were unsure of Poland's New Year's Day business practices. Again, we continued to urge these bell boys that we had seen places that appeared open. They continued to push us away from that idea, and that we were incorrect. They brought it up numerous times and were overly pushy about it, including on the cramped elevator ride up (very tight elevators, by the way).
Breakfasts here were delicious, as a nice addition. Everything was fresh, Nespresso for your coffee needs, soft bread and great cheeses.
3/5 isn't for the hotel alone, but for the experience as a whole.
