The building is located in a side street off one of the main streets on both sides of the town hall; it sits in an old building that was apparently simply re-purposed to become a Motel One. The location is convenient, with a Metro stop, supermarkets and a good number of restaurants within a 5-minute walk.||The reception is small; you reach the rooms by means of two old, small, slow lifts.||Less than half the rooms face the street; the rest is presumably quieter, which is worthwhile if you want to open the window at night.||The rooms are reasonably-sized rooms (at least on my floor) – larger than what I’m used to from Motel One, and larger than the typical fare in Copenhagen; they feature an open wardrobe as well as a small desk and a chair.||There is no air-conditioning, but heating in the room and the bath. The free WiFi works well.||The bathroom is small bath sufficient for one, with limited space to leave toiletries; the shower is reasonably-sized. Note that there is a small step up into bathroom.||You are offered a free bottle of still or sparkling water for your stay, which you can pick up at the bar on the ground floor.||The double bed is soft and comfortable; two pillows are offered, but both of the same type. The curtains reasonably keep out the light.||A downside of the central location is the nearby (less than 100 m) bell tower of the town hall, which rings every 15 minutes until midnight; the side street is also not quiet street – a bar, delivery areas, and a pick-up for busses make it livelier than one would expect. ||The breakfast is good, with a decent choice and decent quality.
