H4 Hotel Solothurn

The highlight of this hotel is the bar on the top floor. The service by Solomon and Robert is top. Robert makes in my opinion the best cocktails in the region. The attention to details, the care about customer satisfaction is done to the highest quality. I highly recommend this bar. Ask Robert for his best Gins. You will not be disappointed.

My overall experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome and well taken care of. The location couldn’t be more perfect - right in the heart of everything, with easy access to the best the city has to offer. The sky bar was a true highlight - stylish, vibrant, and with an atmosphere that made every evening special. And the view? Simply breathtaking. What a perfect location, and the staff went above and beyond. Our luggage was lost and helped with the process. Made us feel right at home. Our view was spectacular from our room as well. Solothurn was absolutely magical

Stayed at the H4 Hotel (Formerly Ramada) for 39 nights from Mid October to Mid December over three different visits while in town on business. Hotel seems to be new or newly renovated, as all areas were well kept and clean. I had a business class room with a King (or Queen) size bed, a small fridge and a decent sized bathroom with tub/shower. Rooms are cleaned daily and bottled still/sparkling water is complimentary. Room had a 32" HDTV which I didn't watch much because I don't know German, but there were a few English channels. Wifi is OK - if not a bit annoying as you are given a unique login/pin that lasts 7 days. On trips where I was here almost 3 weeks I would have to get new logins from the front desk. Beyond this small issue the rest of my stays were pleasent. Hotel restaurant is pretty good as is the morning breakfast buffett. The breakfast buffet did not change at while during my nearly 40 days at the hotel but a full array of bacon, sausage, hash browns, fresh croissants, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, etc - was available daily and included in my room rate. Normally I believe this is a $25 breakfast. Lastly rates seemed OK for Switzerland as I was booked at 225 CHF/night. Would definitely stay again and also at other H4 hotels in Europe if I have the chance.
