We stayed here for 5 days. Overall the room was very spacious (spacious enough for 2 people), we were given a room that had the shower and sink next to the bed, which wasn’t really problematic. The view from the room was pretty, the only bad point here is that the windows are really dirty from the outside but also from the inside, we noticed that they haven’t been cleaned because there were already the same hand prints on the glass when we checked in. The beds were compfy and big, but the bed decor was noticeably dirty (I’m already known to the fact that the bed decor in hotels often are not getting cleaned) and the fabric of the bedsheets was really sticky to every fluff. In the room there were water bottles which were closed with a metal cap, but no bottle opener.
About the staff, we were welcomed friendly, weren’t asked to pay deposit but a city tax which was per day in total of a 125€. The man at the counter said this is just getting freezed and nothing more, but when we checked out I got an invoice which said 78€ for the beds?. I had no time to ask any more questions as we had to hurry to the taxi. Only thing I was a little bit missing with the staff was the explanation. We wasn’t explained where we breakfast, about the pool or gym. I personally travel a lot and I’m used to the fact that everything is getting explained at the check in.
The breakfast was tasty, normal hotel brunch. The croissants were freshly baked sometimes and were very tasty, melting on the tongue. The Buffett was big, I’m pretty sure everyone can find something for theirselves here.
A plus point here is that even if it’s a little far away from the centre, you have 2 near metro stations which are good junctions. The station at the Saint Denis pleyel was pretty big and luminous, modern.
Still, even if there are some little things, we enjoyed the stay and would come back.
