Food was solid, but probably not worth the price. The environment was absolutely incredible. Really nice facilities with top notch service. If you’re not staying at this resort and just want to simply eat at the restaurant (like us), you have to pay for valet. Which was fine, but would’ve been nice to have other options.

Food was delicious, but what we got relative to what we paid for was laughable. Two small pieces of fish in the tacos, with some chips, for $36? The portions were so small that everyone in our party was still hungry the moment we cleared the table…. Even the keikei I understand this is a posh hotel… and that the markup on everything in Hawaii is a bit outrageous; but if you’re going to rake people over the coals on price point than they at least deserve to not still be hungry after you’re through ransacking their wallet. Service great, and restaurant aesthetics great. Won’t be back and probably not gonna give their Bay Area / Colorado properties the benefit of the doubt that it won’t be the same deal. Cheers

Taxing us out of our land with these crazy prices brah if you come from wealth or tourist you cannot eat here, dat being said waitresses was the best part of the experience they was showing aloha but never letting my wife talk me into going here again, show some shame

Amazing food! Amazing sunset!

We arrived , valet was the best way to go . Reasonable prices I was there with 3 others for happy hour 5 pm in October on a Thursday. First time but it was highly recommended by my friend . We had reservations. 5 pm for 4 . We Walked into this perfectly designed out door dining area near the resort pool and beach in the background. Seated immediately. The hostess offered to take our photo with the beautiful ocean background and sunset . She was really nice to offer ! Service was great ! There was a live musician played music for the diners . I ordered the chicken pesto cauliflower crust pizza . It was very large , I ate one third of it . It was great flavor but it needed more pesto sauce , it was on the dry side . My friend had the homemade pasta With bolegnese sauce . Delicious! The other 2 friends had the fish tacos and loved them . Beautiful cocktails and an excellent choices for beer, wine and desserts! Walking through this resort is so amazing with the architecture and interior design inspiration especially at night when it's all lit up !

I was very disappointed! Wanted to go out for a special night but did not want to drink alcohol. Asked about mocktails or nonalcoholic beverages and none were available and server did not make any recommendations. I happen to be vegan. This establishment used to have great options but now all I could get was sides and the farmer plate appetizer. This was literally 4 slices of tomato, carrot, cucumber, and radish. Server acknowledged there was nothing on the menu but said chef could put something together but had no idea what that would be. For such a nice resort, this dinner was a disappointment

Perfect spot to unwind with great food and an even better view. We ordered the tasty burger, spring rolls, and a round of drinks -- the espresso martini and their Lani Tai. Everything hit the spot. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the spring rolls were fresh with a nice crunch. Drinks were on point too: the espresso martini was smooth and bold, and the Lani Tai had that perfect tropical kick. What really made the experience memorable was the outdoor setting. Comfortable vibe, relaxed, and the sunset view was absolutely amazing -- one of those scenes you just want to sit with a little longer. Definitely worth a visit!

Service was great the first day. After that, just okay. We tried the $55 brunch two days because it was free for us. We ended up not using that free benefit because the selections were not our jam. Tip ended up being more than just paying for food elsewhere that we enjoyed.

Shrimp and scallop crudo was light and delicious. The perfect appetizer to whet my palate. Absolutely love the crunchy, purple Hawaiian sweet potato chips itt was served with. Mango Margarita was a little strong - heavy on the reposado. Caesar salad had grape tomatoes- not your traditional Caesar, but the smoked salmon was tasty. My favorite was th tropical fruit pavlova- presentation was everything. It was so light. I substituted the coconut sorbet for mango. Glad I did since the crust had flake coconut baked inside. Such a refreshing dessert.

The best meal and dining experience of our entire trip. Our experience exceeded all expectations by a combination of expert care by the wait staff, delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. I wish there was a bonus star for occasions like this. Our party of 8 was seated toward the end of their service (8:15 reservation with 9:00 closing), yet never felt rushed. In fact just the opposite- our waiter spent time chatting at the end of our meal as we gushed about how delicious the food was and asked him about his favorites. Everything ordered was delicious but these were our favorites: Lobster Mac & Cheese, Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, Cauliflower Gratin, Mushroom Cauliflower Bolognese (will be trying to replicate this dish at home), Fish Tacos, and a special appetizer which wasn't on the menu- I think it was calamari with sea asparagus, fried lemon and aioli. Note that it's unnecessary to pay for the highest price items on the menu to get a delicious meal. We left feeling so pleased and satisfied with everything. Even though it's pricey, it felt worthwhile for a lovely experience.

Came here for the first time last night and let's just say it did not fail to impress in any areas. One of the best restaurants/dining experiences on the big island. First off, we didn't have a reservation and they seated us right away (party of 2) on a Monday night at around 7pm. We had an amazing view of the sunset, wonderful live music, and a comfy seating arrangement. Great for casual or upscale dining. We came right after a round of golf at mauna lani and attire was relaxed. The staff was the best. Attentive, kind, and pleasant. The were constantly on top of serving the needs of the customer. Not once did we have to ask for a refill of water. They just did it. They also checked in just enough to make sure we were happy, but also didn't bother us. Unlike the Copper Bar (at Mauna Kea), this place was extremely cautious of our nut allergy and the experience didn't end in a hospital visit! So if you have any severe allergies, I would highly recommend dining at Halani. As for the food, it's top notch. We started off with the Ahi appetizer (MUST HAVE) & wings. I would 10/10 recommend both. For entrees we got the mushroom garlic pizza and it was the best! We also ordered a fish dish from the special menu and let's just say... we'll be back! On top of that their drink menu is impressive, and the desserts even better! We got one scoop of kona coffee ice cream which came with chocolate shavings on top. I also got a scoop of mango sorbet which had a strawberry with it. Food quality, texture, flavor, and taste was out of this world. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. You're missing out if you don't dine here.

Nice place to hang out, grab some drinks and snacks, listen to live music and watch some hula. The ube colada was like dessert in a glass. We paired the guacamole and chips with the fish tacos and that was just right for us to munch on without getting too full. Resort pricing, but the quality and flavors are great.

Al Fresco dining near the pool with obstructed views of the ocean plus live music...ambiance is ideal for casual dining and a relaxing evening. We liked the veggie hummus for appetiser, The margherita pizza was ok, The shrimp Aglio oglio was just ok too.

This is an absolutely outstanding casual restaurant and cocktail lounge at the newly renovated Mauna Lani. The alfresco dining is top notch with live music in the evening. The menu has a variety of choices. The ahi dish was incredible. The rib eye steak quite tasty as well.

Everything our server recommended was amazingly delicious! great ambience and service. Definitely must try! Stop contemplating and just book a reservation already!

Best steak frites I have ever had. Our server Angie was so nice and attentive, even taking our photo with the fisheye lens to encompass the beautiful sunset. An amazing ukulele artist was playing the entire evening. Can't wait to visit on our next trip

Great service, wonderful food... had Lobster Mac N Cheese, still dreaming about it as it was so Good! Locations in hotel is great for watching the sunset. Really enjoyed the music and cocktails

Great food, great drinks, and great service. Just a touch pricey for what you get. Enjoyed our experience here overall.

Really nice atmosphere and service was excellent. The lobster Mac and cheese was so good, big chunks of lobster and not too heavy on the cheese. The fresh catch was opakapaka and that was also delicious. Can't wait to come back!

The pictures on yelp so far are of halani restaurant and the ha bar is just outside halani. I had the chicken wings and they were ok/good. Atmosphere is nice but the ocean is a bit far away for a great view.

Everything was FABULOUS! I can't stop thinking about the green beans with shallots & macadamia nuts. The potatoes, the sourdough bread was also great. Short Ribs for my main was perfect, tender.

Not sure how they get to 5 stars but we didn't have the $220 Tomahawk Steak either. Prices might be the highest on the island and not sure the quality and quantity of food justifies the price. We had the Beet Salad, Lobster and Crab Melt, Cauliflower Rice and Steak, and Calamari. Everything was good - not great. Service was good though the water got a couple adjustments to the menu wrong. We were ok with it, just picked off the items we couldn't eat. Ambience was great and the grounds are some of the best on the island. Probably wouldn't go back because the value isn't there.

Lovely (if expensive) bar. A most beautiful setting. Staff are gracious and charming and the food befits a high end establishment. Nice to see the children able to play on the grass next the restaurant - definitely kid-friendly. Otherwise, the food and drinks are top notch.

Maki Farm salad is 6 stars! We also had fish tacos and Paniolo along with Sticky Tofee Pudding for dessert! Shea served us and she is delightful also with 6 stars. I want to come here every day! Love the food, ambiance and music!!

We went for a late lunch after golf. The service from entering the front of the hotel to the conclusion of our meal was superb! The food (while pricey) was on point! Our waiter was super nice!

Omg! This little gem is amazing! Don't think that you have to be a guest to eat there, we were staying at another resort and we were welcomed right in ti enjoy our dinner. Mock tails for me, which were amazing and one of the best pieces of pork I've ever had... and I love me some pork. Highly recommend to anyone on island looking to enjoy a nice meal.

Pizza is good! The workers ack as if they just don't want your business. I've been there 4 times and always something. Always seems to be my fault. The pizza is good.

This place is located inside of Maunu Lani resort. As you drive up to the resort you have to valet (my husband and I did not stay at this resort). Walking to the restaurant is cute! They had these bed swings as you walk in, then you do downstairs to see a boat. The resort is very open and cute! The restaurant lays next to the pool (which is kinda awkward when your eating and someone is in the pool half naked). We had gone for dinner, so the setting was nice! Sun was setting, breeze was great! We had ordered the chicken pesto chicken for our appetizer- can definitely say it was worth it! By far the best chicken pesto pizza EVER! My husband still raves how great it was. For our entree, I've ordered the chef's fried chicken (it was very crispy, seasoned well) that came with elote corn (sweet with the right amount of cheese) along with their sauce (which is a sesame type sauce- sweet but tangy; not a huge fan of it). My husband gotten the honey chili salmon and was disappointed- rice was hard, salmon didn't have enough sauce). I gave it a 4 because the pizza was amazing, otherwise a 3 wouldn't been it. This place is also pricy. $32 for pizza, but a well spent pizza.

Ok - i liked their lunch choices better than dinner & liked this place's food better than Canoe House. The salad with the lobster, shrimp & tuna on it that is only on the lunch menu was one of my very favorite things. The poke was really good. My husband raved about the fish tacos. The crem fresh cheesecake was to die for. Also we got the whole fish fresh catch & it was HUGE & super.

Food is okay. I don't mind paying $96 for a ribeye but it wasn't the best. We had a large party and half of the food came out cold, maybe they were waiting for everyone's food to be ready but not a great choice. The atmosphere was a really good setting, there was live music and a girl dancing to Hawaiian music.

Love the bartenders! They can craft anything you want and they are super fun! Music nights are the best! Be sure to order the flatbread pizzas...they are delicious!

Made this our last stop before returning to Oahu and don't regret it one bit. Beautiful atmosphere and awesome service. Rio was super welcoming and made us some delicious cocktails off the menu. We had the lunch menu, tried the Huli huli chicken wings (10/10) and the Big Island pizza. I'm sure all of the pizzas are great but we really enjoyed that one!! 11/10 still thinking about it a couple days later lol. Hope to return for the dinner menu in the future.

Sat here on one of the beachside sunbathing areas for nearly 2 hours. The bartender/server went to nearly every other cabana asking for drink orders but walked by us about 10 different times without asking us if we needed anything. She made eye contact a few times but just kept walking by. Not a great way to treat customers.

Food is delicious. Staff is friendly. We had salmon, pasta, and burgers. My family enjoyed it.
