Haad Tien Beach Resort

Beautiful and quiet location with a lovely beach and great views. Some reception staff were very welcoming, especially the two male staff members, and the bar staff—especially Khun Nam—were excellent. However, service is very important in the hotel industry, and one older female reception staff member appeared unwilling to serve guests, making us feel unwelcome. We booked a Balcony Ocean View room but were moved to a different room upon arrival. Although the room was later changed, we wanted the room we originally booked for content creation. Guests should be informed in advance if the room type is unavailable. Also, a bidet hose should be provided in every bathroom. House 101 is was bad have to renovate or change to stores for engineering

We had a wonderful stay at The Haad Tien Beach Resort. The beach is beautiful, quiet, and well maintained — perfect for relaxing. Food and drinks were very good throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the staff, especially Htay from the beach team and service. He was friendly, attentive, and always professional. The overall service really stood out and made the experience even better. We would happily return.

WE ARE COMING BACK Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights. Absolutely amazing. Before writing this review i checked some other reviews to see their thoughts. Let me tell you something - people are SPOILED and will find an issue with evertything, i could not believe some of the reviews and their complaints. Go touch some grass. Anyways, the resort is absolutely beautiful. We had a transfer from pier to resort, where they welcomes us with water or juice. Check-in went smoothly - and for those complaining you had to wait 5 minutes to get your turn - how disconnected from reality are you, they are doing their best and you complain about 5 minutes. Our luggage was brought to us by staff, we didnt have to touch a thing. The room was clean and beautiful. Even tho we had a problem with getting warm water, they came the same night and fixes it in like 15 minutes. The place is cleaned, everyone is cleaning 24/7, so hard working and nice. The beach was amazing and they have a pool and sunbeds. I loved loved loved the breakfast, fresh omlets/scrammbled eggs if you wish, bacon ham panckalws french toast, juices, and so much more. There were no lines and it was amazing. I saw a comment saying the room where you get food is too small, again go touch grass. I would much rather be a room where i get breakfast be a little smaller with amazing food( its not even that small) then have a big room with bad food. The pool is clean, as i said everything is clean. You have a restaurant, spa everything. The cleaning lady was so cute and kind (we stayed in 307 bungalow). They have three transfers a day to pier and one back. Only thing i would wish would be a little better was wi-fi but you know what at least i reconnected with myself and didnt spend too much time on my phone so it was okey. Overall we are coming back!

Magical place — highly recommended! Haad Tien on Koh Tao is a spot you instantly fall in love with. The beach is peaceful, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand that feels almost unreal. The atmosphere is relaxed and private, perfect for anyone wanting to escape the busier parts of the island. The area is fantastic for snorkeling: colorful corals, schools of tropical fish, and even the occasional small reef shark — all just a few meters from the shore. Staff at the nearby resorts are friendly, attentive, and make you feel completely at home. Whether you’re coming to unwind, snorkel, or simply enjoy a slice of paradise, Haad Tien is an absolute must-visit. A true five-star experience!

The most beautiful resort i have ever been in my life! We stayed for 5 nights, food was amazing, a lot of selection, the rooms are very cute and well put together, the staff are amazing they carry your suitcases and your bags to your room and from your room, they are working 24/7 cleaning the resort its spotless the beach is also pristine clean, white sand clear water, the pool is very aesthetic and the whole resort is green with a lot of nature and cute animals, u have taxis to take u from resort and to the resort. I would recommend this to anyone its soooo good and again thank god for the nice staff who put so much effort in this resort to be pretty.

Haadtien Beach Club, Koh Tao, is a beautiful hotel with a private beach, beachfront swimming pools (three in total), and complimentary kayak services. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Overall service was very good, and most staff were friendly and helpful. However, I’d like to suggest an improvement regarding the breakfast restaurant service. One female staff member in the morning was quite rude when we unknowingly sat in a restricted front area, speaking loudly and showing an unpleasant attitude. Clearer communication and more polite service would greatly improve the guest experience.

The resort is located a little out of the way in a beautiful bay. If you end up here, I recommend renting a scooter to make it easier to get around. The distance to the city center is only about 3 km and to the nearest restaurants and shops 1-2 km. The resort is wonderful, the beach even more wonderful. We stayed in a villa on the beach, which is spacious and clean. The doors need to be resealed and we missed a floor brush in the room so that we could sweep the garbage and sand off the floor. The rooms are cleaned well. The hotel breakfast is rich and varied, but the hotel restaurant itself leaves something to be desired. The prices are expensive, so I expected high-quality food. You can especially skip ordering European dishes such as pizza and pasta at the beach club. I recommend ordering Thai food from the restaurant.

We were really pleasantly surprised when we visited this beach and hotel for the day. The beach is super well looked after, and the water is amazingly clear and blue. We didn’t stay at the hotel, but the facilities looked great and the views were lovely. The staff were all really friendly, especially Htay, who made our visit even better.
