I booked a hotel room more than a week before my arrival as a solo traveler. Naturally, I expected that when I arrived, like in all the other places I had booked in advance, my room would be ready.
When I got to the hotel, the receptionist told me that there was no available room for me and that I would have to spend the night either at her house or in the cleaner’s room. Of course, I had no choice, so I had to sleep in a place I didn’t know. Only the next day was I able to check into the hotel room I had originally booked.
It’s quite ridiculous that I made a reservation in advance, yet when I arrived, the room wasn’t available. It was a very unpleasant experience, especially after a long and exhausting journey when all I wanted was to rest.
I will definitely not return to this place. It left me with a very bad impression.
