Haarlem Hotel Suites

Been staying with Haarlem suites for about 4 months, working a 2-2 week rotation. First the actual hotel. I was in room 6 at the very top. The room is massive and very luxurious. A superking bed and a hugh bath. The fridge, wine fridge and brilliant coffee machine are wonderful additions The apartments vary in size and quality. They're all good of course but all different. The kitchens are very small but enough for a small meal (however eating out in the city is exceptional) Each room comes with good wifi, a bottle of wine and laundry service if needed. Ask about parking because this can be arranged in the nearest car park A brilliant company all round

Can’t say enough positive things about Haarlem Hotel Suites. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and provided above-and-beyond customer service. We were offered a dinner reservation before we arrived on the first night of our stay, and left a bottle of champagne in our room to help us celebrate a special occasion. The view from the suite balcony of the Grote Kerk was stunning. The room itself was comfortable, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, with easy access to the train station and all the fantastic restaurants and shops Haarlem has to offer. Highly recommend!

We booked a weekend stay in Haarlem Hotel Suites as part of a family holiday for my wife and two sons. We had booked two hotel suites. The team at the desk were very welcoming and offered us free drinks and refreshments upon arrival. ||However, important to note that our hotel suites were in fact apartments and that the apartments were approximately 50 yards away from the stated address. Both apartments were situated above a busy street with bedroom windows opening onto the street. Since it was a weekend, there was a lot of noise from the street, and since neither apartment had air conditioning, we needed to keep the windows open to stay cool. Unfortunately this meant that we did not get a good night sleep on either night. ||Both apartments were on the second floor of their respective buildings and both were accessed by a steep stairs. Otherwise, the apartments themselves were really well equipped with a lovely kitchen, bathroom and living area. ||We had a lovely time overall, but important for potential customers to understand that these hotel suites are really just short term apartment lets and that HHS is not really a hotel in the traditional sense. In this respect, I believe that the name "Haarlem Hotel Suites" is somewhat misleading. ||While the apartments were very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, the apartments that we were allotted were not really suitable for families and particularly not suitable if you have any mobility issues, given the steep staircase, especially if you have heavy luggage. ||I think the HHS would be a good option for young couples visiting for a party weekend or perhaps groups coming for a hen/stag visit, given the location which is really central and adjacent to great restaurants, pubs etc. Definitely not a good option if you value a good night's sleep. ||The staff were very courteous, helpful, and generous with complementary drinks etc. but important to note that the reception is open only during daytime hours.

What can I say about these guys . I have been staying with them fortnightly for over two years now, whilst away on business . Never ever have I been looked after and catered for by anyone like these guys do . The manageress and all staff at Haarlem Suites could not be anymore accommodating and helpful. Nothing is too much , they go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are always met , they will always be my go to when visiting this beautiful area of the Netherlands.

Lovely apartment, good size and well positioned, however the two most important attributes are bed & bathroom.||The bed was comfortable, but the room was hot and the fan was far too noisy to use throughout the night and be able to sleep.||Bathroom looked the part, but the shower was well below the standard required to claim 4 star with little water pressure and a blocked shower head. Took 10 mins to set the temperature as it was hard to adjust which is probably also down to the pressure of hot water.

Stayed here several times with my husband while he was working in the area. |It’s a great location in the town and rooms are spacious and nicely laid out. Lovely touches and snack tables in hallway on each level. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. |We had the breakfast tray delivered which was very good. Love staying here and would happily stay here every time we visit. Highly recommend

Smelly and noisy apartment: Our very spacious and well accommodated room smelled horrendously upon our arrival. Must have been a nasty problem with the toilet of the very old house. Opening the windows at night made things better. However the room was located right above the busiest "restaurant street" of Haarlem with lots of restaurants and bars. In the bar right below our room they had a party or similar until 4 a.m. (on a Thursday night in June)|Sleeping was impossible until the early morning||Otherwise the trip was great. Haarlem is such a beautiful city! We hope to come back soon, but will certainly choose a different accommodation

Really liked our suite which is licaled in central Haarlem, amounst nice restaurants and bars.|There was a separate sitting room and nedroon as well as another room with a bath, adjoing the wc/shower room.|Comfortable bed and no noice from outside.|Steep steps on the stairways up to the room, but that did not bother us.|Staff at checkin were very friendly.|Altogether a really nice place to stay and we'd happily return three.
