I wanted to love this place but was really disappointed in the service and noise in this hotel. We got a suite and it was nice, however the bathroom was very tight and difficult to manage with two people. We could deal with that, however the situation with the noise was a huge issue. Our room faced the street and had no noise insulation, we wore ear plugs every night and tried our best to make it work. On Saturday however there was an event at the cafe with blaring music. We called down to see if they could turn it down and when it would stop and they kept putting us on hold and then hanging up. The whole situation was ridiculous and we felt we were being shirked off. The staff was generally pretty dismissive of us. Also, no coffee was available in the hotel prior to 7am, which was tough for us as early risers. Generally, we wouldn’t recommend this place if you value quiet and sleep.

Edit. The hotel responded, took responsibility and apologized for my negative interaction. I appreciate the apology and think this establishment is worth another chance but my original review is below. Unfortunately I had a negative experience with the bell boy, Nixon. He was dishonest and quite frankly rude to my friend and I. We went to the hotel hoping to leave our luggage for a few hours while exploring the area during a 10 hour layover but I wasn't staying at the hotel. Asked the manager, Luis I believe, if we could do that and he said no which was fine. He was gracious and offered information for a place near that maybe could. I asked Luis (I think it was Luis) if I spent money at the cafe would he allow us to keep our bags there and explore. He agreed but when we paid our bill at the cafe and went to walk around the area Nixon, the bell boy, chased us down and said it wasn't possible for us to leave our luggage due to safety reasons. I asked to speak again with the manager but the bell boy, Nixon refused and said it wasn't possible to speak with the manager. I tried to reason with him and you can see from my reviews that I don't often leave negative ones but Nixon was not in the mood to be reasonable. When Nixon opened the door to get our luggage there were at least 15 other bags in there so the excuse that he couldn't for safety was a bold faced lie. I think Nixon just didn't want to help but for what reason I do not know. Nixon, you are dishonest and I have spent 2 of the past 24 months staying in hotels in Colombia. You made HAB hotel, which is very pretty to look at, seem like a dishonest and untrustworthy operation. Nixon, you apologized but after lying to my face your apology is worthless.

Stayed for two nights there , Great stay overall. I can only recommend. Hotel is situated in a nice neighbourhood, with plenty of bars and restaurants. |Well decorated with style, spacious rooms |The staff is very professional and welcoming, especially at the reception for my late afternoon check in after a long flight and jet lagged . I got all the informations I needed with a smile and help. |Breakfast was very good , excellent coffee.

We had such a wonderful stay at HAB Hotel in Bogotá! Our Suite Junior Deluxe was spacious, beautifully designed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the city and soaking in the local vibe. We enjoyed energizing workouts at the gym and delicious meals at the restaurant. The staff was warm and welcoming, making our 4-night stay truly unforgettable. We loved every moment and will definitely return! ☺️

My favorite hotel in Colombia! This was the fourth hotel I stayed in during my Colombia trip, and even though the other were great, this was the best. The staff were friendly, and they all spoke at least enough English that you can check in, order food, or do whatever you need to do. There is also a cafe/bar, and they give you a welcome cocktail on your first night, and they have a complimentary breakfast there in the morning as well. The neighborhood was probably the safest neighborhood I’ve stayed in during my entire Colombia trip. Lots of other tourists were walking around at night, which is not something I’ve seen in other cities. It’s about a 15-20 ride from La Candelaria, which is where Montserrate, Plaza Bolivar, and all the museums are. The cost for that is was about COP 25,000 (~$6.50 USD) I will most certainly stay at this hotel again next time I’m in Bogotá!

We stayed two nights at HAB Hotel and had a wonderful time. The location is great, with many restaurants and cafes in walking distance. By Uber you also get quickly to major sites and the the airport. We had breakfast once at the hotel and it was very tasty. The bed was particularly comfy. Overall very good value for money.

Nice neighborhood with lot of restaurants, extremely kind and helpful staff, even the valet parking lady in front of the hotel is beyond expectations. The rooms/hotel/gym…everything comes in art deco style ;-) nice, quite, with comfy bed! The dishes and drinks were quite good. So overall, nothing to complain about.

This is a nice small hotel within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. The rooms are small but clean. The staff at breakfast were really nice and one of the staff served us on multiple days, she already knew what our drink order was without asking. Breakfast was good and filling at the cafe. When we asked the front desk for additional items such as towels they were brought up to the room almost immediately. Check in and out was quick.
