The place is small and very, very casual. The atmosphere is a bit groovy. Food is very tasty, it is served warm and quite quickly 😋 . Portions are very reasonable, I got the Habibit plate, the big version, because I shared it . I also got the lentils soup, which is tasty, but if you suffer from reflux or you don't digest tomato well, I would suggest staying out of it because it is tomato based, and it might irritate your stomach. But hey! That's only if you have any issue to digest tomato 🍅 but otherwise go for it because it is good. I have a sweet-tooth 😋, so I got a pastry made of pistachios, and I paired it with a cold chai latte. While enjoying my food , I noticed that the falafel sandwich was very popular, so many people ordered it. Overall, it was a nice place with good food. They also offer kambucha. It is just okay, there's nothing wrong with it but I have tasted better ones.

Google
Great location! Incredible flavor and quality food. Great atmosphere! A MUST in Guanajuato!!

Google
I ordered the Lentil soup, Falafel pita with hummus sandwich and small natural Jamaica drink. They were all good and liked that they put a nice amount of Tahini in it. The place was clean and waitress courteous. Overall a nice place to eat healthy food or if you are vegetarian and/or vegan.

Google
This place is a must visit, even if you aren't vegan!! Delish falafel wraps and great coffee! Lots of flavour, fresh and healthy. Best coffee we have had in the whole time in Mexico also.

Google
Amazing veggie wraps, I came and ate two days in a row that's how good it is, I got the wrap with hummus and taboule with garlic/chipotle sauce. Highly recommended

So we glad we stopped by Habibti in Guanajuato centro before continuing back to San Luis de la Paz. The lentils soup was amazing. My wife had the falafel sandwich and it was outstanding. A must visit while in Guanajuato, centro!

The food here is good, very fresh. The flavors mix very well. I preferred the plate over the wrap, the wrap has too much lettuce in it. I absolutely loved the cookies there!

Lovely vegan place tucked into the corner of a bigger street. Only holds about 5 tables that fill up quick for lunch. But people are usually open to share. I love that they focus on only a couple of dishes (falafel, tabouleh, stuffed grape leaves, hummus) but do them well. For hot drinks you have the choice between soy and coconut milk. Tried the garlic dip and loved it. Wifi is strong and bathroom available. I only found the music a tad too loud for my liking. Add: 2nd time around and tried the pita falafel wrap with tabouleh and stuffes grape leaves. You can ask for extra sauce and salad free of charge, so of course I smothered my wrap in the delicious garlic sauce. Super yum! Froth on the chai latte was superb. Happy to have been back. Never dissappoints.

Yelp
I've been going to Habibti since almost 4 years ago. At one point I was going once every week. Yummm... Their dishes are fresh with lots of vegan options and the falafels are crunchy, moist & the best in Gto! (Also considering this is a small town) I dig their lithium bubbly water and side sauces, especially the green one. It's super colorful & planty inside and the workers are all very kind. I love that entire hallway - pretty murals and cool, tiny stores...yummy Japanese, smoke shop, pink kitschy store where you can get tooth gems... A couple years ago my mom and I ordered a pair of doc marten lookalike vegan animal rights boots for sale on the side wall. (The sizes run veerryyy small) Don't forget to get a Dedo de Novia as a sweet treat on the way out!

Yelp
It's almost tragic to say, but by far this is my favorite eatery: It's not even Mexican cuisine. I especially love the lentil soup, omg! The place is rustic, small and personal. The service is prompt and kind. I spent like $175mx pesos on a big soup and salad.

Yelp
It took more time than expected to make it to Habibti Falafel but it was worth it. Tucked into a corner about 12 mins from centro, you'll find Habibti Falafel. It's completely welcoming to everyone but the menu is 100% vegan. If you ever wanted a chance to te something new that was plant-based, this is your opportunity. The menus are available via QR code or regular printed menu. They do offer free Wifi with code and there are fans humming through the open space. I ordered the Gigante Falafel as I skipped breakfast so I was a ready for Gigante. It did not disappoint. It was Gigante. Make sure to use either one or both of the oils. One is garlic and the other chipotle. I did use both on my Gigante. There are delicious menu items to choose from as well and I am tempted to go back and have hummus and pita chips to cool down in the afternoon. PRO-TIP Habibti Falafel only accepts cash or transfer via WhatsApp. Looking for a refreshing meal in Guanajuato that is vegan and healthy? Habibti Falafel is your one stop shop. Highly Recommended

Yelp
Cash only! It was nice to have a vegan meal!! The falafel was wonderful, as was the tabouli. The hummus wasn't great. They have a few indoor tables and no outside seating.

Angie L.

Yelp
A nice find when we wanted something different from all the tacos, etc that we've been eating (and loving!). The hummus was just okay, but the tabbouleh was particularly good as was the falafel. They accept cash only, so be prepared for that.

Yelp
Great vegetarian options here! I have been eating a lot of meat in Guanajuato, so it was nice to have a plant based meal. I asked for the most popular falafel sandwich and was recommended the hummus and tabouli. I love tabouli and I was very excited to have it in my sandwich. You can choose three different sauce options. I went with the chipotle because I like some spice with my food. I also ordered a cold chai tea to go with it. I wasn't expecting to be asked so many questions about the tea. First you choose a base (rice milk, soy milk or coconut milk) and then you add a flavor. I chose coconut and mora. It was kind of a funky combo. I am used to just a basic chai tea that had notes of cinnamon. Restaurant was clean and welcoming and the service was great!

Yelp
So good and such a hidden gem. Nice selection of local beers. Fresh healthy food alternative to local dishes. Intimate location. Service and price awesome!

Yelp
I've been in central México for a month now living in San Miguel de Allende and visiting Guanajuato the past four days. We've eaten at restaurants a lot. Like 9x/week for 4 weeks. Either breakfast lunch or dinner or more than one. While I love Mexican food: I've had chiles en nogado, enchiladas mineras, mole etc and "high-end" Mexican restaurant food on azoteas, this is the best food I've had so far. It has so much flavor but not heavy or fatty etc. Of course it's all vegan and though I'm not vegan(or even vegetarian) at all, I do feel so much better after eating than when I eat other food here. I will be back. Thinking of getting take out hummus and dolmas(hojas) tonight for breakfast in the morning. I can't eat anymore pastries as they make my RA worse.

Yelp
They're are no longer at this address. Really was looking forward to trying their menu. Must of happen within last 4 months. If you moved, please update your address

Yelp
AMAZING wow. Ordered the falafel wrap with hummus and tabouli, and it was honestly the best falafel I've ever had. Soooo much flavor and the portions are big. Coming from a California girl who had ate a lot of middle eastern food, this is honestly the best place I've been to.

Yelp
Delicious. Thanks to Yelp we found this gem. If and when we are back we will definitely be back. The falafel and hummus is to die for. Full Vegan and Vegetarian options and even though I'm neither it was fantastic. Thank you

Yelp
Loved the food which was made to order. Falafels were perfectly cooked and had great flavor. Pita bread was really good and it is thinner than in the states. Sauces great too. I ordered a dessert called dedo de novia and it was the perfect little ending to our chill and delicious dining experience at Habibti.

Yelp
Savory food, good service, affordable price. This "hole in the wall" is a gem! That's my opinion, but I'm easy to satisfy when it comes to food. Much more impressive to see this place is even appreciated by someone that's hard to please. My uncle, a voracious carnivore from Mexico City, rarely ventures into new foods. When he does, he hardly ever likes it.... Since he'd never had Mediterranean food, he resisted in the beginning, but finally conceded to the idea of eating here. He totally loved it, was completely satisfied and was surprised to see he achieved that satisfaction without any meat. Not sure where to go for great-tasting food that leaves you satisfied and you dont want to spend much? This place gives fantastic value. I suspect there's a good chance you'll like it here.

Yelp
Unbelievable food at a spectacular price. Fresh falafel and tabouli... While the dining experience was a bit basic this place is spectacular.... Fresh food, friendly staff, and more... Would highly recommend to any MILLENIALS travelling to Guanajuato!

Yelp
Highly recommend this hidden gem in Guanajuato. It is a small place but well decorated and comfortable. The staff was great and helpful. Ordered the falafel wrap with hummus and chipotle salsa. The flavors were delicious and well balanced. Also had the tabouleh salad. The wrap was generous in size but the perfect amount to eat if you are hungry since the bread is thin (more like lavash than pita).

Yelp
Habibti has genuinely real falafel. I've traveled in the middle east and Greece, especially in Egypt for quite a while. The falafels here are the real deal. The main dish on the bistro-style menu is a falafel sandwich, a large pita bread wrap, with options. It is all VERY fresh, and every one is made per order. That takes time to do it right, so try not to be in a hurry when you drop in. They also have plates with 3 or 4 selections that are quite good, plus one of the best lentil soups I've had. It's a pretty laid back place.

Yelp
Delicious food, fabulous falafel and very well priced :-) Very pleased to find this small cafe in GTO... and ate here twice for lunch and once for dinner... Would absolutely recommend - yummy!

Yelp
We really enjoyed this intimate middle eastern style vegetarian restaurant. There was excellent service and the environment low-key. Both had a falafel sandwich one w hummos. both were warm and fresh as were the pita bread, also very fresh. Really great for a low-cost meatless dinner.

Yelp
This is a very modest cafe. We had a mixed plate that included almost everything on the menu and absolutely everything was fresh, flavourful and satisfying. The staff was friendly and I had no concern about the hygiene. For a quick and very inexpensive lunch you just can't beat it.

Yelp
Love this place! Healthy food and they have great vegan options. Well everything is vegan I'm pretty sure except some sauces. But the vegan Salsa Ajonjolí is delicious so no stress there. The falafel is tasty as hell and the tabouli is probably one of the most enjoyable I've had. It's a tiny place, perfect for small groups or a loner lunch. It's also very cheap, so there's another plus. I'll keep coming back here until the day I leave Guanajuato.

Yelp
If you're craving falafel or hummus go here! The price is very reasonable. The portion is good. And it tastes so good! I'm a huge falafel and hummus lover so I got a wrap with both of those! So good! It's a small area so don't come in with 10 people. It's probably good for 2-4 people. It's a quick lunch place for me.

Yelp
Outstanding! I'm living in Guanajuato for 3 months and needed some greens. I ordered the Falafel wrap with hummus and ajo. Crisp lettuce, warmed wrap, freshly made falafel, tomato, cucumber, hummus and garlic sauce. The flavor was absolutely delicious. I went back the very next day. I really appreciate the non-meat dedication without missing any of the flavor. I'll be back again a few more times before I go back to California.

Yelp
Best falafel ever. The tabouli was fabulous, also. The pita was thin and light. Quite perfect and oh, so affordable. It's just a little hippy dive place, but worth it to taste the exquisite falafel.

Yelp
One of my go-to vegetarian places in Gto. They make some of the best falafel sandwiches I've had. Nice fresh (& hot) lavash-style wrap is a plus. I love the chipotle yogurt sauce that you can have with your falafel sandwich. This is a great place to go for vegetarians/vegans or if you need a break from Mexican food.

Yelp
Good service and sweet friendly service. Prices were cheap but I left hungry. Food was just okay.

Yelp
The food is fresh and delicious, the owner was patient and helpful and explained the food to some of our party (who had not eaten Middle Eastern food). The drinks were tasty and the price was very reasonable. The only downside was that the bathroom wasn't the nicest. But we enjoyed our meal!

Roz S.

Yelp
Reasonably-priced delicious Middle Eastern vegetarian and vegan food less than a 5 minute walk from Teatro Juarez. I had a large and very fresh salad (yes I am American eating salad in Mexico because all decent places disinfect their fruits and vegetables ) accompanied by a large serving of hummus and some pita bread, and 2 stuffed grape leaves. All were good. Nice change from eating Mexican food. Anxious to try their felafel and lentil soup next time.
