Habitat Boutique Hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely outstanding stay in every possible way! From the moment I arrived, everything was simply perfect. The room was beautiful—spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well designed, with great attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options, fresh products, and a lovely atmosphere to start the day. The staff truly made the difference: incredibly kind, professional, helpful, and always smiling. I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. The location is ideal—perfectly situated to enjoy Catania, with easy access to the city’s highlights, restaurants, and transport. Overall, an exceptional hotel offering comfort, elegance, and warm hospitality. I couldn’t have asked for more and would absolutely return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

I was really looking forward to my trip to Catania. I am traveling from New York City and was excited to spend a few days in Sicily. With the weather happening over the weekend - rain, 25 mph winds and possible flooding, I was advised to cancel my trip. I did book a non-refundable room with every intention of not cancelling. I contacted the hotel concierge seeking a refund and explained my situation - the weather isn’t going to be great especially with the potential flooding, she said there was nothing she can do but I can email the hotel and the owner can look it over. I expressed my concerns via email. The owner came back and also said no to a refund - it’s pretty disappointing the lack of compassion the team had considering the conditions Sicily is experiencing. There was 0 solution - I would’ve appreciated a credit for future use despite circumstances that are outside of both of our controls. I would’ve happily loved to come back in the future if a refund wasn’t something they were able to do. I booked through EXPEDIA and they also reached out to them and the hotel ALSO said no to them. The hotel looked lovely, but based off of this experience I likely won’t visit in the future.

We booked nine rooms in this central boutique hotel. Very well positioned for restaurants and shops all the rooms are different in shape and size and our guests were very satisfied. |Our own room was spacious with a large dressing room and shower room with an excellent walk in shower. Lovely original patterned floor and bright decor.|Although we were told our minibus might not be able to unload at the front of the hotel it did not prove to be an issue and we were able to board each day outside.|Breakfast was a good continental choice with long communal tables.|Staff were very friendly and were able to exchange one of our guests rooms because of an issue with the bed type.|We would certainly recommend this place and use it again.

Had been in Catania for weekend sightseeing, booked apartment in this Hotel, very good place near beautiful piazza. Breakfast were yummy. Lived in top floor, this rooms are without view windows, just roof skylights. Hotel staff very kind.

Cool without trying too hard. Rustic without feeling shabby. It’s effortless old school charm in a modern way. The breakfast is always amazing - Claudia makes a great coffee and great scrambled eggs. It’s my go-to place to stay in Catania.

I loved the Habitat Hotel. It’s beautifully designed and committed to sustainability, so many thoughtful touches. The rooms are spacious and conformable, the outdoor space is cozy and the location is great-right near Teatro Massimo .and walkable to all the major tourist sites and cool neighborhoods. The breakfast spread is wonderful and above all the staff were so lovely!

Stayed 2 nights here with my wife. Great location, close to all attractions but just out of the crowds. The room was great, very clean and quiet. Only criticism, the bed a bit too hard|For my liking.

The hotel is in a great location - a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Everything is tastefully decorated. Rafaelle checked us in. He was so welcoming and had great suggestions for us. The rooms were spacious and had everything you could need, including slippers. The breakfast was wonderful - a little bit of everything. This was a short drive from the airport and the hotel has it's own secure parking which was a bonus since we had a rental car.

This is a cute boutique hotel near Piazza Vincenzo Bellini. It is close by many shops and restaurants, and a very convenient and short walk to Basilica Cattedrale di Sant'Agata, Teatro Massimo, the fish market and lots of great shops. The rooms here are clean, and despite it being centrally located in such a busy city, very quiet. AC is available. There is a restaurant on site as well, and a delicious breakfast available every morning. The staff here is very polite and professional, with extra services available for airport pickups and drop off if requested which can be arranged for you for an added but reasonable fee. This is a great hotel with a convenient location here in Catania.

The breakfast at the Habitat was excellent. The variety of home baked goods, fresh squeezed juices, fresh fruits, breakfast meats, and eggs, homemade jams and cereal bar were all amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Kudos to Janne!
