36 Best Hotels in Dubai

"The rooms here feel like little jewel boxes, decorated in relaxing hues of blue and seaform and trimmed with crisp white. King Club rooms have expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with chaise longues, though all rooms have a sitting area, mini bar, electric kettle, and a safe (some have vases of fresh bamboo, too)." - Melinda Healy, Laura Ratliff

"How did it strike you on arrival? This tranquil Arabian-style resort is set on a quiet stretch of Jumeirah Beach, adjacent to the Dubai Marina. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The rooms feel like little jewel boxes, decorated in relaxing hues of blue and seaform and trimmed with crisp white. In some rooms, the television is placed awkwardly in relation to the bed, due to the built-in desk at its foot. King Club rooms have expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with chaise longues. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Bedding isn’t as soft as one would expect from an Autograph Collection property. If you have allergies, request a feather-free bed. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? All rooms have a safe, a minibar, an electric kettle, and a sitting area. In some rooms, you'll find vases of fresh bamboo. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms are bright and adorned with blue tiled mosaics. Toiletries are by Elemis. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wifi is free and extends to the beach. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?Service throughout is impeccable, but Candice, who works in the pool area, goes above and beyond for guests. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you. There are more than 15 on-site restaurants, so there's something for everyone here. The pool is surrounded by lush greenery and has a view of glass-and-metal skyscrapers; there's also a kids pool equipped with water slides. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? There are lots of kids here, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, head to the Elixir Spa. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Modern rooms, a huge pool, and a fantastic location." - Laura Ratliff

Great service and rooms are nice. Pools are heated to some degree so manageable in December. There is a new building construction coming up so that can be a bit annoying but understandable. Beach access is nice. The Dubai tours for activities has some flaws in what they promise and you pay and what you get so be warned. Reception, Concierge and housekeeping (especially the turndown service) is top of the range 10 star! Hotel food is 3 star so get ready to use careem.

Spent 10 months paying up our 5 figure sum one off Xmas family holiday and half enjoying /half regretting our travel agents choice of this hotel. The staff are fantastic, cannot fault that, they are all very eager to help and are all super polite - but that can only compensate so far when this sum of money is involved. There is a new hotel tower block being built and I’m now half way through our holiday and still can’t get to sleep tonight as it is 24/7 construction works. Tonight heavy welding works are being done so going to have to attempt wearing noise cancelling headphones. Our Son complained one night he never got to sleep till 3am due to it and loud music and he is normally a very deep sleeper. The Italian restaurant is the best, food quality is good there but for half board (if you’ve experienced 5 star half board in Tenerife) the food quality and selection from the evening buffet is hugely disappointing and we have not been impressed to date at all. We’re booking meals out a couple of nights now as a result. The location is great and the hotel private beach is lovely. It’s a dated 5 star hotel but the rooms are huge and super spacious. It’s our first visit to Dubai so will be leaving a little disappointed that all our hard worked/earned money could have been spent on three x 5 star trips to Tenerife instead.

Solid hotel. It has everything you may want or need at the premises. From pool, beach, party, chill, quiet, and lively. Def more on the family side but still great for couples or friends. The staff are all very nice and kind. The room I had was quite spacious and had all I wanted. Location wise, you are very walking distance to different places inclusive of JBR.

We had a wonderful time. The staff was incredible and made sure that we were well taken care of. The room was well appointed and extremely clean. They worked very hard to make sure that our stay was perfect. Housekeeping, food service, check in and valets were always friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend the Al Habtoor resort.

Rooms are tidy and maintained, but dated. So is the general ´feel´ of the room. Removed an extra star because there are many parties on the beach. Night before I ledt was laying awake until 4 AM on a workday... Friendly staff all around. Pool is great and nicely warm in winter. Had to ask to turn the music down a bit. Must be a Dubai thing... There is construction going on in the garden that makes noise but thays temporary. Hopefully the old part is next for a renovation!

Really enjoyed my stay here. First I had a room with not such a great view.. Maya from Guest Relations emailed me for feedback which I initially ignored, she followed up and I mentioned the view was not great, immediately she offered to move me and moved me to a way better view- really great service from Maya to ensure my stay is as pleasant as possible. Next the staff at the grand club were excellent and very welcoming. I enjoyed every bit of the grand club and the hospitality shown by Matti, Hossam, Ahmed, Melanie and Larry. Thank you team and I will definitely return here again. 🙂😎

Honestly such a beautiful hotel, impeccable service, my mum and I felt incredibly looked after. The cakes at the cafe were delicious. I loved how we would return to the room and our toiletries were on a square muslin so neatly... Or how there were swans and dogs made out of towels. Thank you Maureen. The beach service was fabulous as was the buffet Al a carte. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I stayed with my family at Al Habtoor in August 2025 for the first time. We were there for 2 weeks so a substantial time. Generally the grounds of the hotel are lovely as it's located at the end of JBR. The entrance looks lovely and the pool area is larger than most hotels on JBR. However, I would say this hotel is more 4 stars than 5. The rooms need updating a bit as they look tired. Ours had a dampness smell. The pools need updating as tiles were falling off. It's like they are concentrating more on the building of their new hotel rather than keeping this one up to date. Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel for some Birthday hospitality and we received none. We were checked into the wrong room and had to wait for the change the next day. My son caught some vomiting bug in the second week and then I had it. When we asked if we could have just simple toast and tea delivered to the room as we were too weak to go down to the breakfast area, there was a lot of resistance until finally we had it delivered. This is not a great service as we did not want to come down to the public dining area to inflict our bug on other guests and we expect a 5 star hotel to be very empathetic when this happens. The front staff generally were not as warm and friendly as you would expect - they seem more flustered. However, the best members of staff were the main dining staff - they greeted us daily with such warmth! They catered for all my family's needs and a shout out goes to: Santosh, Milan, Mayhdi Said and Carolyne at the entrance desk of Al Dhiyafa! They really made my young sons and family feel special.
